This is a very sad story.  Such a waste of life for both the victim and the suspect.  I feel so bad for both the families of this young men.

It surely doesn't help to "dramatize" to the nth degree the situation but on the other hand, it's about time for the law enforcers to do their job of guarding our city and province from these criminals. If the media keep on labelling Tagbilaran as a "Crime City", it will just attract some more criminals.  Things can still be remedied for as long as law enforcers would really work on scaring off these bad elements.  Mayors should initiate investigation to those police officers who are accepting bribes or protetecting these criminals and should be punished to the fullest degree of the law.  No more of those monkey business!

Per last CNN report, 50 people had been killed already.  This is just so sad.  Yes they knew already their situation that their place is susceptible to tornado .  They did some measures like having a place where to hide during tornado but I guess there's just no way out sometimes.  People live in this place all their lives and maybe they just don't know any other place to live. Their life is farming and if they go somewhere else, their livelihood is also affected, the only means to support their family. Besides, if this place is altogether dangerous and is deemed hazardous for people to live, the government could have had "condemned" the place but I guess this wasn't really that bad.

Just like in the Mindanao where rebels are harassing the people. I really wondered then why they wouldn't leave their place so they won't be caught in the middle of fighting and out of the danger place.  I think again.  Where would they be going? 

Anyhow, may the dead victims of the tornado in the South  rest in peace and may the remaining victims find assistance to keep on with their lives.

Anyway, sometime back, I went home to visit my sister and my nieces and some families there.  I was in a passenger jeepney and I was amazed that the jeep had it's own basurahan with a note, throw your garbage here .  Then suddenly I was so surprised that a car blocked our jeepney and there was commotion.  Then came out Mator Duterte from the other vehicle and followed by police officers.  The Mayor was so aggressive in harassing our jeepney driver.  I was just seated behind the driver so I saw most of what's happening.  The mayor was saying bad words and told the driver that the rules were clear and simple ug ngano pa daw supakon.  As it I learned later, naa diay city ordinance na NO SMOKING in public places including public vehicles.  Daw beh, nag smoke man tong among driver unya pagkakita nya ni Mayor Duterte, iyang gitagoan ang sigarilyo under his shoes.  The Mayor told us to get off and take another jeepney kay ilang gi dakop ang driver.  I thought it was too strong for a simple infraction but then again I realized later that if people can not follow simple rules and regulations, so much more the much bigger rules so tama lang na i enforce ang smallest rules by then the people would realize that our law enforcements mean business here!

On Will and Grace show: I admire the acting prowess of Jack and I like Wil because he is handsome and decently gay. I hate it when Grace cries like some crazy woman and sometimes I got annoyed by Karen's screaky voice.  Rosario rocks!  Outside of their roles in that show, they are all actually intelligent actors and I read in one magazine that they remained good friends after the show closed curtain.

I recommend Hazel as Global Admin after all she's performing it already while you were gone.  And she did it well, don't you think so?  The only issue is the frequency of times that she is online but in most times that you are asleep, Hazel is awake so at least there's one person awake while the other one is in deep sleep.  Kumbaga, shifting ba.  And when we get more Admins, everything's gonna be okay.

I know Dong!  After the Giants scored, I already gave up and though my bana dear didn't care much about the Patriots kay always lang daw winner, he assured me there's still 29 seconds.  But after that, he was sacked, I felt sacked too! hehehehe  Anyway, it's good na lang.  They fought hard and so are the Giants.
