yes we do Grace, kay murag na tradition na namo sya nga family gathering pod. Not sure kung kinsa nga balay this time.

We will also have a family gathering but not a large crowd.  For sure we will have it at my aunt's kay their house is bigger and can accommodate all of us.

Here's the flower bouquet I made this morning for our neighbor who is suffering from a terminal cancer.  It sure made me happy to see him smile.  His family who came all the way from New Orleans were happy as well.

I saw this in CNN too but there were lots of bomb explosion news tonight.  That one in NY Times Square, there was one in Jerusalem and there was also a bomb scare in UC Davis.

Corruption in the government is already ingrained.  I don't want to sound hopeless but it's close to being hopeless already.  We, the citizen, saw all these things.  We are, first and foremost victims of these wrongdoings of our leaders, the same leaders we, ourselves installed in their respective positions.  We or most of our people are denied of basic governmental services because fund allocated for projects are pocketed by the implementors of these projects.  Yes, these are the same people we entrusted our nation to lead us.

So to answer your question, Manong Jose, the change should start from each and every one of us - the citizens of the our country!  How?  By not allowing this politicians to cloud our judgement during election thru vote-buying.  By not allowing the BIR people and other government agencies to cut corners if we grease their hands.  By simply not throwing our thrash in the street or by simply following traffic rules.  What's this got to do with our country?  It shows that we are disciplined and responsible people.

There's a lot we can, actually.  Let's hear from the others though.
