Ug moingon tag hatagan nato ug formula as supplement dapat mo honor sila dili kay ingnon nga di jud pwede.

"KILL the Filipino," came the chants of the crowd as Steve Grandeza climbed the ring, a grim reminder of the great odds he was facing in the biggest fight of his life.

They were cheering for his opponent and it was understandable. At the opposite corner of the ring stood Ghana's Al Hassan "Van Damme" Okine, a tall and muscular fighter who is very popular in Dubai because of his impressive fight record.

Grandeza, the Filipino champion, was never given a chance. He was small, they said, and would end up just being slaughtered by Okine.

They were all dead wrong as Grandeza went on to dominate Okine on the way to capturing the World Kickboxing Federation (WKBF) super welterweight crown and stunning the crowd at The Lodge in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

"Everyone was rooting for him (Okine). I even heard someone told Okine during the weigh-in, `You can beat him, he's so small," Grandeza told the Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum Thursday as he recalled the night he won the world title against the highly-rated fighter from Ghana.

"During fight night, I was the one called first and so when we entered, the fans were shouting, ‘Kill the Filipino,’" Grandeza added.

But Grandeza said his brother-trainer Bryan reminded him of their meditation training where he was submerged into the sea.

"Bryan said I had to focus on my opponent and not on the negative remarks being thrown at me by the crowd. I emptied my mind just like in our water training. It helped me shift my focus back on the fight at hand, otherwise, I would have been distracted," he said.

His best friend and coach Edgar Alan Paulino said the water training was a good thing and it helped Steve to focus on the fight and that the negative chants of the audience did not diminish his determination.

Grandeza said after the decision was announced he became emotional that he cried when the Philippine anthem was played during the championship belt presentation.

He, however, confessed that there were premonitions he would be bring home the belt.

"When I arrived in Dubai, I dreamt of bringing this one (gesturing at his belt) home. I believe it was really my faith that made it possible. I was very positive about the fight. It's funny that in my dream, I was giving Okine a roundhouse kick and it did happen," Grandeza said.

"I cried when the Philippine national anthem was being played during the awarding. I had always dreamt of becoming a world champion. I'm so happy it came true. This honor is for every Dabawenyo and every Filipino all over the world. I am proud to be a Dabawenyo. I am proud to be a Filipino," he added.

He also thanked Team Pilipinas Phoenix Moo Duk Kwan consultant Ben Sur and sponsors Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, PAGCOR, NIS Motors Corporation, Davao Bayan Construction & Hardware Supply, Inc., Rockspec Gears, Davao Mayor Inday Sara Duterte and Vice Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte for supporting his campaign.

Wow salute jud ko aning inahan nga dugay nagpatotoy kay naa pud ko kaila nga 2 and half years na iya anak mo didi gihapon sa iya totoy. I always turn green with envy kay wala nako ni mabuhat pero ug ing cooperate pa ang nature nganong dili bisan pa siguro 4 years old hahahah.
Both totoy nako ang makuha ra ug i pump tag one ounces.Paghatag namo sa bottle for the first time halos di moginhawa sa kahangop ug totoy akong anak.
Ang breastfeeding swerte swerte ra ug daghan ka ug gatas  ug wala non sense nang daghan tips nga moinom daw ug sabaw or daghan herbal ipaapply kay ug wala jud kay gatas this means dili capable ang imong lawas mo produce ug milk. Gisuwayan nako tanan apil na tong lihi lihi nila wa gihapon.
I'm not against breastfeeding pero against ko kung pugson jud ang inahan nga murag gi black mail nga wa nay laing the best as baby food ang mother's milk ra.Mao ni nahitabo nako sa hospital pa gi ask ko ug magpabreastfeed ba ingon ko yes. Mao to gisegi ko ug atungan sa lactation consultant kay gitudluan then ang pediatrician sa akong anak ing recommend nga i formula kay nag loss lagi daw ug weight. Gi hatagan namo ug formula na kay nakit an mi sa lactation consultant iya mi gikasab an kay tabla ra kono nag poison namo sa among anak kay ang breast milk ra jud daw ang the best ing sunod intawon pud mi kay na black mail.Diha na ko ka realize after three months of trying. Para nako the best ang formula heheheh at least complete ug vitamins added. Unsaon man pagka the best sa mother's milk kung iyang diet is poor? For example ang hilig sa inahan junk food ray kan on di ba unsay gi take sa inahan mao poy moadto sa gatas. So para nako di the best ang breast milk labi na ug di pud healthy ang kinan -an sa inahan.

Kana kung dili conflict sa injo time ug work, unja dili mo sakitin. ;)

In some states in the U.S., exposing oneself in a public area is a criminal offense defined by state law as indecent exposure, public nudity, or sexual misconduct, etc. One notable exception is New York, where the Court of Appeals held in 1992 that the state constitution's equal protection provision allows women to go topless in any public area where men also have that right.[3]  Whereas toplessness in itself may not be grounds for arrest, many of the women featured in Girls Gone Wild commit other acts in public that may be considered lewd and therefore culpable to criminal prosecution.

Octopus Man

55-year-old Filipino, Rudy Santos, is a medical phenomenon; with four arms and three legs, he has one of the rarest conditions known to man â€" a parasitic twin.

Rudy, know as ‘Octoman’, made a name for himself out of his condition, touring carnivals and freak shows during the 70s and 80s - but hard times forced him into seclusion where he has lived in poverty for 10 years. He has remained a local legend on the carnival circuit in spite of his mysterious disappearance for over a decade.

Now Rudy, the oldest parasitic twins in the world, is forced to confront his past and face his future for the sake of himself and his family. Cameras follow him on the emotional journey, as he faces medical opinion for the first time, in the form of the Philippines’ foremost authority in conjoined twin separation â€" Vicente Gomez.

Rudy undergoes a series of examinations from Vicente and his team of medical experts to find out for the first time how his twin is formed within him, and what of his twin exists â€" whether it has a spine, and what organs? He will also find out if surgery is possible for him at this late age. While waiting for the results of the examinations, Rudy makes the emotional journey back to his family home where his 11 brothers and sisters have been praying for his return, and he introduces his daughter to the rest of the family for the first time.

As Rudy decides if the offer of life-changing free surgery outweighs the risks such a complicated procedure brings, his compelling story reveals an inspiring character who, in spite of his disability, has never viewed his condition as debilitating. Can he say goodbye to his twin?

A little surprised, the young fellow looks at him and replies, "I make $300.00 a week. Why?! "

The CEO then hands the guy $1,200 in cash and screams, "Here's four
weeks pay; now GET OUT and don't come back!"

Feeling pretty good about his first firing, the CEO looks around the room and asks,
"Does anyone want to tell me what that goof-off did here?"

With a sheepish grin, one of the other workers mutters,
   "Pizza delivery guy from Domino's."

bahahahahahaha........bulok na CEO, wala magresearch... hehehehe... so impulsive

Increasing Your Milk Supply

Sometimes mothers find that their supply of breastmilk cannot meet the needs of their growing baby. I have compiled the following suggestions to assist mothers with increasing their milk supply. Experiment with a couple of different ideas and see which ones work best for you.

1. More Milk Plus is an herbal combination which helps increase milk supply. More Milk Plus contains four herbs: fenugreek seed, blessed thistle leaf, nettle leaf and fennel seed. These herbs work synergistically (together) to increase a mother's milk production. The combination is much more effective than taking fenugreek seed alone. More Milk Plus comes in a liquid form that is readily absorbed by the mother's body, enabling it to be effective in 24 to 48 hours. More Milk Plus increases blood flow to the breast and aids smooth muscle contraction to assist with milk release. More Milk Plus is an excellent choice for someone who had a full milk supply in the beginning and has recently noticed a decrease in milk production. In order for More Milk Plus to be *most* effective, it is important to remove milk from the breast (either by nursing or pumping) a minimum of 7 times in 24 hours.

2. Many new mothers find More Milk Special Blend to be especially helpful in the early weeks of breastfeeding, or when milk production has been low from the very beginning. More Milk Special Blend contains an additional herb called Goat's Rue which stimulates development of mammary tissue and increases milk production in breastfeeding mothers. More Milk Special Blend now comes in convenient capsule form, making it easy to take anywhere you happen to go.

3. Taking Herbal Trace Mineral Capsules in addition to More Milk Plus or More Milk Special Blend helps to nourish the nursing mother and support the effort to quickly increase milk supply. It contains Kelp, Dandelion Root and Alfalfa to help support the special nutritional needs of pregnancy and lactation. Kelp contains an abundant amount of trace minerals (including iodine) that help support the thyroid gland and normal structure and function of the breast. Dandelion Root supports all glands that are associated with digestive function. (Many herbs and foods that increase milk production also assist with digestion.) And Alfalfa has been used for hundreds of years to support milk production in lactating women. Herbal Trace Minerals combines all three foods to support and nourish the pregnant and lactating woman. Herbal Trace Minerals is especially helpful in building the milk supply when used along with More Milk Plus or More Milk Special Blend.

4. If you are using a breast pump, it is important to be fitted for proper size breast shields (also called flanges). When shield size is too small, moms report soreness at the base of the nipple and they don't feel like the breast is getting completely drained. Milk volume problems can be related to lack of good drainage. Medela offers larger shields for those women who need them. In my experience as a lactation consultant, I find that roughly 50% of women need the larger shields for their pumping comfort and efficiency. If you have questions about breast shield size when pumping, please read the article I have written on Proper Fitting of Breast Shields.

5. Milk production can also be increased by adding Nature's Sunshine Kelp to your diet.Taking Kelp in addition to More Milk Plus or More Milk Special Blend helps to support the process of lactation. The iodine found in kelp supports the normal structure and function of the breast (especially during lactation). Kelp is a rich source of iodine and many other trace elements. It is frequently used to aid thyroid function (which in turn helps regulate milk production). Pregnant and lactating women double the need for iodine as they pass along iodine through the placenta and breastmilk to the developing baby. The iodine in kelp is easily assimilated by the body and goes directly to the thyroid gland to support metabolism and to the breast to support milk production.

6. Find ways to relax. Hormones produced by stress can block the release of oxytocin (a hormone necessary for milk release). Low levels of oxytocin inhibit milk release and mothers find that milk cannot easily be removed from the breast by a pump or the baby. Activities that encourage relaxation will help your milk supply. Try taking a soothing hot bath, reading a magazine, taking a walk, praying, or having a massage. If you need something quick to relieve stress, Distress Remedy has been used by many mothers for it's calming effects. Distress Remedy is a homeopathic tincture that has been successfully used to assist with the milk ejection reflex. Place 10 to 15 drops of Distress Remedy under the tongue prior to nursing or pumping. Distress Remedy can also be added to a glass of water and sipped for 30 minutes. Distress Remedy has a sweet taste and is pleasant to take. Distress Remedy can be taken up to 4 times per day (and works great with children too!).

7. Stress, depression and fatigue can have a negative impact on milk production. According to recent research, prolactin levels are lower in moms who are stressed. Since prolactin is the primary hormone involved in milk production, moms with low prolactin levels experience a decrease in milk production. If stress is contributing to your low milk production, Nutri-Calm is a vitamin and herbal combination designed to help the body combat the physical, mental and emotional effects of stress. It contains healthy doses of B-vitamins plus calming herbs that aid in relaxation and encourage restful sleep (without causing drowsiness). By helping you relax, Nutri-Calm enables greater milk production especially when taken along with More Milk Plus.

8. A decrease in milk supply before starting your period each month may be due to a drop in blood calcium levels prior to ovulation and during the two weeks following ovulation. This problem can be corrected by taking Calcium/Magnesium. The magnesium in the supplement enhances the absorption of calcium, balances hormones, and keeps milk production from fluctuating. Nature's Sunshine Calcium/Magnesium contains extra vitamins (boron and zinc) in a base of herbs for optimal absorption of the calcium. This supplement can also reduce uterine cramping and premenstrual discomfort such as water retention. Nature's Sunshine Calcium/Magnesium supplement is also a great addition to the diet if mom needs to avoid to dairy products. It is easy to digest and assimilate!!

9. A delayed milk ejection reflex after several months of pumping at work can be helped by switching to the Medela SoftFit Breastshields . Milk supply can be enhanced by using a soft shield which massages the breast and aerola while you pump.

10. Nurse often during the night. Prolactin is the milk-making hormone. Maternal prolactin levels peak between 1 and 5 A.M., while you are asleep. Take advantage of these high prolactin levels by nursing more frequently at night to help stimulate your milk supply. Prolactin also rises after you take a short nap during the day.

11. Take care of yourself. Drink more water, get more rest, and try to relax while pumping or nursing. At work, listen to your favorite music, read an entertaining book, or look at a picture of your baby while you pump.

12. If your baby is sleeping through the night, try drinking a large glass of water before you go to bed. You will probably wake up in a few hours to go to the bathroom and this is a wonderful opportunity to pump for 15 minutes to collect some extra milk or wake up your baby and nurse! Your prolactin levels are higher while you are asleep, so your body makes more milk at night. Be sure to drink a glass of water when you pump or nurse during the night. Your body will think your baby is going through a growth spurt!

13. Eat healthy snacks such as yogurt, cheese, almonds, veggies and fruit throughout the day. Some mothers find that an afternoon snack of a protein drink or a protein bar gives them a source of energy for the long stretch until dinner.

14. Increase the frequency of pumping sessions. For working mothers, try getting to work 15 minutes early and add one pumping session before starting work. Pump for 15 minutes, 4 times per day instead of 15 minutes 3 times per day.

15. Are you taking birth control pills? Some women have found that even the "mini-pill" (progestin only) can have a negative effect on their milk supply.

dear hioctane,

the directions of the ideas that are rippling through the pages of this thread that you started are getting more and more overwhelming.  there's filipino humor and spontaneity here at their best.  it would be great if you understood every nuance, every idiom.  but that will come in time...

there's someone here who's at the top of the list of humorists.  she's unlikely to sink even in the worst of heckles.  she even seems to have managed to dodge life's punches through sheer grit.  her name's luckybelle.  something in me tells me that it would be nice if the two of you get to meet.  who knows?  with your modesty and good intentions, you might end up as the best of friends.  we all know what or who comes from the most unexpected places.

oh, i believe there's a pm (personal message) facility somewhere in this forum where you can privately communicate with luckybelle.  it's all up to you, really.  the rest is up to her.
