Mari, I found the name in Google. It's Cannon Ball Tree Flower and the scientific name is Couroupita guanensis.

"Origin from Tropical South America. It is popular in botanic gardens and a few larger private gardens because of its bizarre fruit. It is a very tall tree which sheds its large, elliptical leaves several times a year. The pinkish-red flowers grow directly from the trunk near the base of the crown and are strongly scented in the evening. Blooms year round. Flowers are followed by large, globular fruit, reddish-brown in colour, which do indeed resemble cannonballs and remain on the tree for many months. On older trees there may be dozens of fruits and flower clusters at the same time."

Hi Peeps! You can post any pictures of anything from your backyard in this thread. It's interesting to see people's backyard. 

Most of you guys already know that I plant herbs and vegetables even though I only have 5 square meters garden.  The rest I plant them in pots or wine barrel.

So, the other things I have in my backyard are:





Aloevera! I started growing them in one pot and keep replanting the baby ones and share them to my family and friends.



Jade plants!



Ferns!

These are my plants that I seldom water for weeks and they still stay green. I call them Hardy Plants.

I have more plants like Maple, Redwood, Kawayan and more.

Kanang uban kay kinawat nako sa imo gallery galing kay ang uban dili pwede kay lahi ang format type. Siguro bitmap or something.

Basta lagi namong pangatawa kay nag-ignoy man tawon mga katawhan sa restaurant.

I just wish I have a big area to plant more like what Ate Ging and her hubby have - like a ranch!
