The Missing Jewels

I went out to be a leader, but could not find one following me;
I went out to obey and submit, and leader I became to be!
I went out to search for a friend, but could not find one out there;
I went out to become a friend, and friends I found everywhere!
I went out wanting people to serve me, but then, I’m not happy as I can be…
But when I went out serving them, life's perspective suddenly changed in me!

 They are lying. The bare truth is, the world nowadays is so stressful. It looks like there are so many things to do yet too little time to do it. I only work 14 hours a month, that means in every 2 days I am off. But, still I can hardly mowe my yard, dont have time to visit friends and step kids and grands, still not statified with the orderliness of my house, and still many things left undone and still hanging on my head.

Every year they have cultural and sport activities coming from different places like Taytay held mostly in Biabas. If you are interested of the tribe you should attend in this affair. You will be amzed with their Eskaya songs, dance and the way they talk Eskaya to each other. Nahibalo ba mo nga duna nay Eskaya nga Municipal councilor sa ato kaniadto? Iyang ngalan Tony.

That is true. Kanya-kayang papel og deskarte sa kinabuhi. Naa gani nga ang bana giilog og laing Pinay, so what the heck, life should go on. Mag-pahospital ang lalaki then mokuha og private room aron makajerjer sa nurse for a fee of course.

It is not the kind of profession, naa na sa pagkababaye, ang uban gusto og easy money, ang uban napugos. Pero like I used to say: p**t nga sila but what we called the soceity that reduced them to that state.

It is nice to know the background of the people we are talking here.

I regretted so much for not pursuing what I supposed to do. I took Master of Public Admistration at Adamson's University. I was not able to finish owing to the nature of my job. I worked with WB funded projects and my travels all over the Phillipines were very extensive. Now, I regretted that. The money was good but I lost the time and opportunities.

I studied criminal justice in the US, halted for some changes in personal affairs. Hopefully, I can finish it before the end of the year.

Ultimately, in the Law School next year,  if I my pocket allows me.

Bag-o pa gi-launch and Abatan River Community Life Tour. The tour starts at the marina in Salvador, Cortes and ends in Catigbian. The cost is P1,100 per person. It is quite a long tour and could be boring. The management scheme is also confusing according to a consultant, because it involves communities of Cortes, Maribojoc, Antequera, Balilihan and Catigbian.
Mao ba diay, 5 municipalities diay ang involve. Pero in fairness lami gyud na kaayo nga area. Akong Uncle gi-tour ko niya diha riding a pumpboat.

Quote from: Lorenzo on July 06, 2010, 11:01:51 PM
I know of a friend who was suffering because of a cheating partner. Na sikit jud iyang dughan, she did not eat, could not sleep. It was really an acute depressive episode for her. What I did was pray with her. There were times that she was in her bed and would not move or even notice anyone, I would sit next to her and take out my rosary and pray with her. When she did get out of this state, we prayed together. And there it is proof of the healing power of prayer.

When the pain is so great, when the burden so high, turn thyself to the most beautiful and merciful heart of Jesus. Who will carry your burden when it is too heavy. And will bless thy precious heart to move on.

Ampo lang kanunay bisan sakit ang kasingkasing. :)

When it hurts so bad, I will sing Lift Up Your Hands to God, for strange reason I am very attached to this song when I am hitting the rock bottom.

Silence will always bring peace and serenity to my body and soul.
I can go on living in the same house not talking for 3 years, maybe just cordial conversations. It was not easy but when you are badly hurt, you cant open your mouth to talk.

Sa ahong tan-aw ug kaagi sakit jud kaajo ning break up. Di nimo maexplain nganong sakit kaajo ug lisod. Wa may tawo nga gusto masakitan mao nang kung mahimo pa lamang makapili nga dili masakitan nganong dili gud pero dili jud mapugngan. Ang technique ani, ijogging kada gabii o igym. ;D

Maybe there are 1000 books and more write-ups how to deal with it. But the mere fact is, it is not easy. My first break-up, it took me 5 years before I dated again. The pains were so overwhelming and ate me alive.

For me character is more important. It's what grows within and is what you have when you go away. While reputation is what you have when you come to a new community...it's what people say about you.

IF you have a good character then good reputation follows.

Well, true
