I want to have one of this..http://hembaba.com/reviews/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/yamaha-fz-16-photo.jpg[/img]

Yamaha Motor India Limited is ready to launch Yamaha FZ-16 on Indian roads by mid September 2008! The bike has all the latest technology features that the customer craves for. The stylish yet innovative FZ-16 has macho and muscular looks redefining the 150cc bikes segment. The Yamaha FZ-16 is an urban-cool motorcycle built for great performance and easy-living functionality, because that’s the whole idea of a bike like this. It keeps it simple, with street-tough naked styling and super-civilized power delivery and a specially designed riding position that gives riders extra confidence at lower speeds.
Yamaha FZ-16 : Serious attitude, Serious power !

The FZ-16 was born for life on the street - taut, muscular and ready for anything. Whatever’s going down on the street, you’re always in charge. The FZ-16 has got heart-pumping knockout performance and it’s got serious attitude on top of that, a lean and mean look that’s all about raw power.
Yamaha FZ-16 : All-out performance, all-round versatility !

Superb man-machine interaction is at the core of the FZ1 inspired performance. Accelerating out of turns you feel it, in fact you will be enjoying yourself so much that the brief ride you had planned will turn into something a bit longer !

Yamaha FZ 16 red (Lava red)

Unlike the Yamaha YZF R15 (sports bike), the Yamaha FZ-16 is a macho street fighter. The bike gets its looks from the global FZ series known for awesome looks and tremendous power. Just one look at the bike is enough to make you fall for it and buy it !
Yamaha FZ-16 : Just one look at the bike is enough to make you fall for it !

Yamaha FZ-16 Design elements: Big center mass, tough looking front forks, tough looking chassis, mid-ship stubby silencer, super wide tyres, rugged shaped body parts !

Teka lang Malu, we all have chances... "be wise lilke a serpent, be humble like a dove". I don't like to sound like nangangaral 'cause when I do mahaba yon. Just to have fun. Anyways, Malu you're still a good person. God made everyhting good including you. Sana mabasa mo 'to. Galit man ang mga Pinoy sayo, many of them understand you, like me ;)
so materialistic,simply lang pero rock.

Maayo ra kulang pa jud nahitabo nila, kining mga tawo nga masakpan nga magbuhat sa ingon maayo jud putlan ug kamot.Duha na ka beses natabo ni nako.Sa seaman pa ko while sailing the Mallaca strait that is boundary of Malaysia and Indonesia , i was a third officer then so may watch is from 20:00 to 24:00 oclock. At 23:00 i was not aware that a group of pirates came on board our ship using ropes.I was on duty with an Able seaman and the ships bridge was dark so we can see clearly the horizon. That is S.O.P procedure when the ship is sailing. All of a sudden i realize there was a 3rd man on the bridge and before i can confront him the pirate put a knife on my throat. He was asking for the Captain. He tied my hand with a wire and he went to Captain room take all the money take my watch and all the portable radio equipment.Satisfied they went outboard from the ship quitely just like when they came..

Here is some information of what Dakar rally is like..The Dakar Rally was canceled in 2008 due to security concerns in Mauritania. Because of this the Dakar Rally moved to South America in 2009 and it has remained there for 2010. The only "Dakar" left in the race is the competitors village named "Dakar", now located in an exhibition center in Buenos Aires.

Dakar 2010 Fast Facts

    * The 2010 Dakar Rally will take place from 1 - 17 January.
    * Over 550 teams will participate from 50 countries.
    * Over 5500 miles (9000 km) will be raced through 2 countries (Argentina and Chile).
    * 161 bikers, 28 quad riders, 140 car teams and 52 truck teams will compete in the rally.

The Most Dangerous Race in the World
The Dakar Rally (or the Paris-Dakar Rally) first took place in 1979 and was organized by Frenchman Thierry Sabine. It is an extreme race, to say the least, that traditionally ran from Paris (France) to Dakar (Senegal). Due to various political disturbances and all out war in some of the countries, the route changes annually. In 2009 it changed drastically, and moved to South America.

Navigation skills are always the key to winning the race and this year (2010) competitors will battle the desert sands as well as high altitude and precarious mountain passes. The 2010 race has more motorcycles and quads racing than ever before, with new rules allowing KTM and other bikes to compete on an equal level.

The Dakar Rally is a very popular race, the organizers of the rally traditionally had to stop accepting applicants 6 months before the deadline. In 2008, the organizers introduced a selection process to make it fairer than just "first come, first serve". Given the last-minute cancellation in 2008, last year (2009) many competitors enjoyed free shipping of their vehicles to South America. In 2010 there are far fewer trucks racing, probably due to the cost required to ship these vehicles across the ocean.

The Participants
Traditionally most of the participants are amateur adventure seekers with a bit of cash to spare. But the race also attracts some major motor-racing stars looking to test their mettle against the elements. Car manufacturers like to use the rally to test the endurance of their new vehicles.

About 550 teams participate (from 50 countries) in three categories:

    * Large Trucks (52 in 2010)

    * Automobiles (140 in 2010)

    * Motorcycles (161 (and 28 quads) in 2010)

Over 200 supporting vehicles make up the rest of the caravan. Only 40 percent of all participants make it to the finish of this grueling race.

The Route
This year (2010) the race starts in Buenos Aires, on the Plaza de la Republica and runs through Patagonia, the Andes Mountains, along the shores of the Pacific Ocean in Chile and back to Argentina through the Atacama Desert. 15 stages will be driven over a two week period.

The Dakar Rally requires extreme endurance and navigational skills. There is only 1 rest day this year (2010) and it is usually spent tinkering the vehicles to run to maximum capacity despite the problems of sand, sand and more sand in every nook and cranny of the engines. Every stage of a regular rally runs about 300 miles. Click here for more on the route.

The Danger
It isn't called an extreme race for nothing. Every year people get lost or killed during the race. Some major incidents that made headline news include:

    * 1982 Mark Thatcher (Prime Minister Margaret Thatchers son) got lost for 6 days in the desert.

    * 1988 DAF the leading truck (which was also beating every car at the time) crashed and killed a driver.

    * 2005 Two of the top motorcyclists to compete in the rally died within 2 days of one another.

    * 2006 Australian KTM motorcyclist Andy Caldecott, in his third time in the Dakar, died as a result of injuries after a crash. 2 young spectators were also killed in the latter stages of the rally.

    * 2007 2 motorcyclists died, a South African crashed in the 4th stage and a Frenchman died of heart failure during the 14th stage.

A total of 49 deaths among competitors have been recorded since the rally began. Spectators have also been injured and killed either by competitors or their support vehicles.

Past Winners
A quick glance at the list of past winners and you'll see that Stephane Peterhansel is the current rally hero. He has won 9 Dakar titles in both the car and motorbike categories.

There were a handful of women competing in the Dakar in 2009 including Dutch contender Mirjam Pol riding a Honda motorbike; Annie Seel from Sweden, riding a KTM motorbike, and Tina Thorner from Sweden who co-drive a BMW car,

The KTM motorbike has dominated past races and is looking for more victories. Mitsubishi has won the past 6 rallies in the car category and Kamaz has dominated in the truck category in recent years.

Low-cost alternatives to the Dakar Rally
For those who don't have the money to participate in the rather expensive Dakar Rally, but still hanker for the adventure, there are alternatives:

    * Plymouth-Banjul Rally This rally requires entrants to drive cars that are not worth more than 175 USD. This is a rally for charity and I quote from the web site, "Unofficially spoken of as 'The Ultimate Banger Challenge', another motley collection of cars costing less than 100 British Pounds will be assembled to drive over 3,000 miles from the South coast of Great Britain to the West coast of Africa. On this run, the unloved Russian LADA car is the ultimate choice of vehicle. Cheap, simple and tough, no Lada has every failed to complete the Challenge."

    * Budapest-Bamako Rally Started in 2005 by Zoltan Dulai, a Hungarian frustrated at the prohibitive cost of the Dakar Rally. This rally offers the same adventure without the strict entry requirements and raises money for the people of Mali. The rally started in Budapest on the 26th of December (2005) and drivers were encouraged to bring as many toys and books for the children they met along the way. No news of a possible 2006/7 rally at this time (Dec, 2006).

I think Mercedes Benz are only good on pave roads, i have no recolection of  any off road race like Dakar to Paris rally or down in Patagonia. Here is the picture of the VW Tuareg who won it all in Patagonia last 2009..  Does it mean that Mercedez is not as tough as what they want us to believe..

Mitchell Carey, 43, is thought to have contracted an infection after stepping on one of the sea creatures.

When he got back from Greece, he told pals he felt unwell and was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, on August 16.

But staff discharged him soon after, reportedly diagnosing food poisoning.

His condition deteriorated rapidly and he was rushed back to hospital the next day after his family called 999 - but he could not be saved.

Mr Carey, from Knebworth, was the son-in-law of former footballer and TV pundit Bob Wilson.

He had been married to Mr Wilson's daughter Anna but was widowed when she died of a rare form of cancer in 1998, just before her 32nd birthday.

The freak holiday accident has caused further heartache for Mr Wilson, who paid tribute to Mr Carey saying: "We loved him dearly."

The family are now awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination.

A spokeswoman for East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust said: "Our deepest sympathies are with Mr Carey's family.

"While an investigation gets under way it does appear that Mr Carey was given the appropriate course of treatment while at our A&E department.

"Sadly his condition worsened dramatically and on his admission, staff at the Lister Hospital did everything they could to save his life."

While there are some species of poisonous sea urchins, most people unlucky enough to step on one will just experience a sharp pain which can last for a couple of days.

However, there is a danger that in rare cases bacteria from the creature's spines can lodge in the wound causing blood poising, also known as septicaemia

MANILA
, Philippinesâ€"Memorizing a deck of cards in precise chronological order under one minute may seem like a superhuman feat because it has been accomplished by only less than 1 percent of the world’s population.

But it’s not because they are naturally gifted, according to memory experts. The feat simply has only been attempted by a few.

A Filipino, Johann Randall Abrina, has tried it in the international arena, with astonishing results. So has Roberto Racasa, a “kristo” or bet-taker in a cockfighting arena in Marikina City.

Abrina, a registered nurse and sports psychology student from Marikina City, memorized a deck of 52 cards in sequence in 80 seconds at the United Kingdom Open Memory Championships on Aug. 26-27, beating Ben Pridmore, the current World Memory Champion, in one discipline and winning a silver medal.

Pridmore, a three-time World Memory champion, finished as the overall UK Memory champion.

To attain the rank of Grandmaster of Memory in the world, one requirement is to be able to memorize one shuffled deck of 52 cards in two minutes.

If Abrina succeeds in future performances to memorize 1,000 digits in under an hour and the precise order of 10 shuffled decks in the same amount of time, along with his incredible skill in speed cards, he will be joining an elite group composed of less than 40 grandmasters in the world.

Pridmore, whose memory feats have been the subject of many TV documentaries in England, has memorized 27 packs of cards, in order, in under 60 minutes.

Plucky Pinoys

Pridmore lost to Abrina in a discipline where he has a personal best of 24 seconds, according to memory enthusiasts, because he was going for another world record and made costly mistakes.

In a field of 14 memory experts from the UK, Germany, Austria, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, Ireland, Poland and Slovenia who competed in Paddington, London, Abrina was beaten in the speed cards discipline only by the Austrian Corina Draschl, who memorized the whole deck in 78 seconds.

Abrina finished ninth place overall.

Racasa, the “kristo,” finished 11th, beating competitors from the Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia and Lithuania.

The plucky Filipinos traveled more than 11,000 kilometers to participate in the event for the first time.

“The performance is impressive and unexpected,” said Klaus Kolb, president of the German Memory Council and founder of the German Memory Championships whose candidates often dominate the world rankings.

Pridmore, a 33-year-old accountant, sits on top of the world rankings but the rest of the top 10 are dominated by Germans who, among them, have produced three world champions. The Germans also hold seven world records in 10 memory disciplines.

But the performance of the unheralded Filipinos is nothing to be sneezed at, said Kolb, also a famous memory trainer in Germany and author of several memory books published in Europe.

“Their performance in their first international memory tournament is proof that with enough time and discipline, Filipinos can be a major threat to memory athletes, if not in the world, at least in Asia,” Kolb said. “Certainly, they are coming into the World Memory Championships in December with a lot more respect than before.”

Racasa also placed a respectable sixth in the marathon 30-minute card discipline, memorizing 156 cards in sequence in 30 minutes while Abrina memorized 130 cards.

Abrina bolted into the top 10 of the UK championships with another respectable finish in the random words discipline, memorizing 77 words in 15 minutes.

624 cards in 30 minutes

Considering the world record in speed cards held by Simon Reinhard of Germany is 21.9 seconds and that Pridmore can memorize 624 cards in sequence in 30 minutes, the Filipinos may still have a long way to go.

“But compared to the United States
, they can very well hold their own,” Kolb said, adding the Filipinos can probably handily beat the Americans at the US Memory Championships if they are allowed to compete.

The current record for speed cards in the US championships is one minute and 27 seconds. Abrina has already done it in under one minute.

Mental decathlon

The Memory Masters is a mental decathlon and sporting tournament with a following in 20 countries.

For the last 17 years, the World Memory Championships have been held in Europe, the Middle East and Asia where astonishing records are set by the world’s best memory athletes in 10 disciplines that include memorizing decks of playing cards, pages of random numbers and words, names and faces, poems and historical facts.

A record holder can recall over 180 names within 15 minutes or more than 300 numbers within five minutes.

Competitive memory has been an organized sport only since 1991 when Tony Buzan, a business consultant and author of 82 books on brain and memory, organized the first international competition in England.

Buzan calls it mental olympics, focusing on training the mind to develop its latent abilities in much the same way athletes train their bodies to perform to their fullest potential.

Mental, physical fitness

The training required for competitive memory sports is like training for the Olympics, stressing the need both for mental and physical fitness,

In the last 17 years, the sport has grown in popularity with national championships held in the United States, Germany, South Africa
, Australia, Singapore, China
, Japan, and Mexico.

The first Philippine Memory Championships will be held next year under Memo Masters Philippines in cooperation with the Center for Memory Training and Creativity based in Germany.

Those interested are encouraged to join and train for free under Kolb, who stresses that high IQs are not required to do well in the sport, simply remarkable amounts of focus and discipline.

Kolb underscored the importance of memory training in learning.

“Learning requires more than understanding. You only really learn what you remember and what you have forgotten you have not learned,” Kolb said.

“Students have to learn vast amounts of information in vocabulary, historical facts, scientific terms and learning can be made easy and fun if you know the best strategies. This is where memory training comes in.”

mao ni ang recipe sa love potion no.9 garantisado ni..babaye ang mogukod nimo sultihi unya mi sa resulta..Witchcraft, Love Potion, Love Spells, Love Charm
By M.S. Beltran

Looking to put a spark of magic into your relationship? Try a little Witchcraft!

Witchcraft is an ancient art which utilizes the powers of nature and the mind to bring about a desired effect. Specific combinations of natural elements draw specific energies. One can tap these energies by stimulating the senses to induce altered states of consciousness that intensify moods and feelings.

A skeptic, are you? What have you got to lose? Follow these simple but powerful ways to conjure up some romance:

Love Potion #9: In a small pot, simmer a half cup of jojoba oil and, moving your spoon clockwise, stir in 9 drops each of the following essential oils: ambergris, cinnamon, frankincense, jasmine, lavender, musk, orange blossom, rose, violet, and ylang ylang. Let cool and store in a dark glass container. Dab yourself with it as you would your favorite perfume before a night out (or a night in) to drive your loved one wild with desire.

Enchanting Brew: Pour a quart of red wine or grape juice in a non-reactive pot and warm to a near simmer. In a doubled piece of cheesecloth place two cinnamon sticks, a teaspoon of rose petals, teaspoon each of ginger and cloves, a wedge of orange peel and a piece of fresh ginger. Gather and tie the bundle tightly with butcher's string, and place it in the liquid to steep. Taste the brew every few minutes until the flavors have been infused, but remove the bundle before they become overpowering. Chill if desired. Share a glass with your loved one and toast to an enchanting evening.

Lust Spell: Nothing can spark the flame of love like candle magic. The element of fire has long been associated with romance. Before an encounter-- all the better if the moon is full-- obtain a red taper candle and a vial of rose oil. Carve your name and your mate's name into the wax with a pin. Anoint the candle with oil by rubbing it from top to bottom while envisioning your loved one. Visualize all the desire you feel for that person while mentally pouring that energy into the candle. Place the candle in a holder and light it. All the energy you have put into it will be released into the universe to take its course. For safety, do not leave candles burning unattended.

Herbal Bath: In a piece of doubled cheese cloth, place a tablespoon each of dried rose hips, lavender buds, and bay leaves. Wrap the herbs in the cloth and tie at the top with a pink ribbon. Fill a tub of hot water, toss in the herbal bath and sink into it to awaken loving energies. Even better-- invite your mate to join you for a soak!

The Magic Touch: To increase your partner's sexual energy, massage your partner at the base of the palm, just above the wrist crease. This pressure opens up an energy channel straight to the heart chakra (a major energy vortex of the body), from which springs passion and love.

Love Charm: To draw love into your life, cut a three by three inch square of aluminum foil. All metals have attractive properties, and work much like a lightening rod which draws electricity from the atmosphere. Sprinkle a pinch each of dried parsley, rosemary, and thyme onto the center of the foil. Carefully fold the foil to keep the herbs sealed inside. Keep it against your heart to attract loving energies to yourself.
