Cuckold historically referred to a husband with an adulterous wife and is still often used with this meaning. Diablo's wife is not adulterous. Buotan ang asawa ni Diablo. What is happening to them happens to all married couples. Dili mag kasinabtanay. So they agreed to separate ways. Diablo can have all the girls he wants because he has so much money. But he is still hoping that someday, they will be reunited, living together in the same house. Sleeping in the same bed.

the retired general was the one who recruited diablo. if you are inside this group, you are a member for life. you cannot resign. you have to serve until your death. when a member dies, the GROUP will hold a council to vote on the replacement. all members can recommend anyone as long as they met the qualifications without regards to sex and age. then they vote who will replace the dead member. members communicate with each other by encrypted email.

to finance its operations , the GROUP engage in different businesses. it was diablo who recommended to the GROUP that they buy a security agency when it went up for sale. members were unanimous in their approval. by buying the agency, they have a ready access to its arms and ammunitions.

Introduce Yourself / Re: The Science of Getting Rich

I met Chuck Hughes because we were both regulars at the local coffee place. He's not a big talker. He never brags or tries to impress anyone. But over time, he shared w/ me how he makes his money. I was sure impressed. So I asked him for a few suggestions. Then I went home and did exactly as he told me. Well, shortly thereafter....

I was making as much as $50,000 in one day. And let me tell you, it wasn't a one time thing. So far I raked in more than $3 MILLION and I have my tax returns to prove it.

I bought my dream home in Florida and I am having so much fun, I never want to stop doing this. To Chuck, I want to say THANK YOU for generously sharing your money making oppurtunity and making my "golden years" solid gold.

And to anyone reading this I want to say. Even if you've never made a penny before, these methods can help you make money hand over fist....and have a great time doing it.....

Business and Economy / Re: Cameron Parish Project
August 18, 2013, 11:25:36 PM
You see, the “Cameron Parish Project” involves a highly specialized technology few people in the energy industry even know about.

This complex science is what turned Qatar from a desert outpost to the richest country in the world.

But this technology had never been tried in the US.

Until the Cameron Parish Project.

Now the US companies that have this technology are on the verge of becoming kingmakers.

But here’s the thing…

The Dept. of Energy has kept a tight lid on this experiment â€" and the companies that can use this breakthrough technology for profit.

Only two companies are currently approved to move forward.

That means their early advantage will give them a leg up on the eventual competition.

And as the only ones in America that possess this technology, their services will be in constant demand.

The act of receiving government approval by itself is a massive feat. I’m sure you’re aware of the obstacle course Washington requires American energy companies to navigate.

And one of these companies I’m going to tell you about in this presentation is at the forefront of all of this new wealth creation.

But before I do, let me be crystal clear: While this situation could fund a large portion of your retirement…

It could also cripple the portfolios of investors who don’t quickly recognize the massive energy shift taking place.

Time is of the essence. Get in now and you could be set to reap massive, growing profits for the next 20 years â€" and beyond.

In fact, this type of situation is very rare â€" but scenarios like it have made early investors a fortune.

Take a look…

The Biggest Event in
American Energy History?
You’re probably aware of the shale oil and gas revolution in the United States over the last five years. The situation is very similar to what’s happening right now in Cameron Parish.

Only a few companies have approval to use a breakthrough technology in the United States. In the case of shale gas, that technology was hydraulic fracturing, or fracking.

The companies that started fracking first made a fortune.

Continental Resources CEO Harold Hamm was the first to drill in Oklahoma, Texas and North Dakota.

In just over two years, Continental shares soared a whopping 560%.

Hamm is now incredibly wealthy… His family is wealthier than Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and the estate of Steve Jobs, according to the recent Forbes list.

Chesapeake Energy was one of the first companies in the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania. Once it started fracking there, its share price shot up 127%.

CEO Aubrey McClendon became a multibillionaire. The company even put its name on an NBA arena in Oklahoma City.

But he wasn’t the only investor who got paid by the shale boom. Savvy investors who recognized fracking’s potential early set themselves up for a lifetime of gains.

In fact, some of these investors are still getting paid fat checks every few months.

For instance:

On July 11, Mark Muldoon of Tacoma, Washington, cashed a check for $2,409.

Indiana native Billy McKenzie got paid $3,480 in July, his third check of the same size this year. And he expects another in October.

Alan Dix of Stone Mountain, Georgia, gets $5,924.70 â€" give or take â€" every three months thanks to fracking. And he hopes to continue collecting those checks for years to come.

Now you have the chance to be just like these forward-thinking Americans…

You could set yourself up to collect handsome payments year after year â€" courtesy of the “Cameron Parish Project.”

Remember, only two companies have government approval to use this breakthrough energy technology in the US…

And early investors stand to rake in the profits too.

But here’s the thing: With the “Cameron Parish Project,” I think your gains could be exponentially higher than what fracking paid.

Let me explain why this mysterious project is estimated to be worth over $400 billion…

An Emerging “Golden Age”
As you can probably tell, I’m talking about the oil and gas industry. But I’m not talking about a new discovery.

And I’m NOT talking about fracking or drilling.

This “Cameron Parish Project” has to do with a technology so unique that the US government trusts only a handful of companies with it.

But I’ve gotten a bit ahead of myself…

So let me back up and explain what’s driving the need for this technology and the select companies that know how to properly exploit it…

It’s no secret that America is swimming in natural gas. Drillers have unlocked so much gas from tight rock that the USA is now the world’s No. 1 natural gas producer.

These drillers have returned massive profits to shareholders. Like the 560% gains from Continental Resources I told you about earlier.

Thanks to years of drilling, the United States is sitting on a massive oversupply of natural gas.

“The US natural gas market is bursting at the seams. So much natural gas is being produced that soon there may be nowhere left to put the country’s swelling surplus,” says the Associated Press.

Because of this oversupply, natural gas prices are at historic lows. But as you’re about to see in just a few moments, the “Cameron Parish Project” thrives off cheap natural gas.

In short: We have more natural gas than we know what to do with right now in the United States.

But what about the rest of the world?

“We are far from a global supply glut,” says Jason Bordoff, a former White House aide on energy policy.

In fact, the International Energy Agency recently proclaimed an emerging “golden age” of natural gas to 2035.

According to the IEA, global demand for natural gas is expected to increase by 50% over the next 20 years:

"Asia will by far be the fastest growing region, driven primarily by China, which will emerge as the third largest gas user by 2013," says the International Energy Agency.

Of course, let’s not forget energy-starved Japan, which shut down ALL of its nuclear power plants after the fatal meltdown at Fukushima.

Japan is turning to natural gas to fill the void, but it has no natural gas resources of its own.

The New York Times reports that Japan “desperately need(s) the gas.”

Natural gas is quickly becoming the energy source of choice after moves by Germany and some other European nations to turn their backs on nuclear power.

“We need more gas. After Berlin’s decision, gas will be a driver of growth,” says Gunther Oettinger, Europe’s energy commissioner.

But the problem in Germany and the rest of Europe is that there’s very little shale gas production.

For instance, The New York Times reports that “large reserves of gas discovered two years ago in Poland were initially projected to meet the nation’s energy needs for 300 years, but estimates have since been slashed by more than 80%.”

After disappointing early attempts at extraction, international energy giants like Exxon Mobil and Talisman Energy of Canada scaled back their investments.

And the cost of extracting European shale gas is roughly DOUBLE that of American reserves.

Get this: Energy consultancy Wood Mackenzie in Edinburgh estimates that European shale gas may meet a mere 5% of demand within the European Union by 2030.

“Shale gas in Europe is unlikely to revolutionize the energy industry like it has done in the US,” says Kash Burchett, European energy analyst at consulting firm IHS.

Europe is extremely concerned about the environmental impact of fracking.

Because of how densely populated Europe is, compared with the United States, the government is more reluctant to allow companies to tap new energy deposits, which are often near major cities.

“The primary obstacle to shale gas in Europe is politics,” says Burchett. “If you don’t have permission to drill, you can’t move forward.”

United Kingdom authorities temporarily banned fracking because they believe it causes earthquakes. Bulgaria and France have outlawed the process because of water pollution concerns.

Worse still, many countries, particularly in Eastern Europe, are reliant on Russia for its gas.

You see, Russian natural gas provides nearly 40% of the energy Europe relies on. In some European countries, it's as high as 100%.

Now, if Russia's state-owned energy company Gazprom operated like a normal business, everything would be fine.

But Gazprom finances Russian President Vladimir Putin’s corrupt political system.

Under Putin’s direction, Gazprom has been a notorious international villain, conducting business through coercion, paranoia and fear…

Gazprom cut off delivery of its precious fuel, a matter of life and death during European winters, to Ukraine and much of Eastern Europe in January 2006 and 2009.

In short: Europe NEEDS access to America’s vast supply of natural gas…

And Putin knows it.

In fact, reporting from inside Russia and Gazprom suggests that Putin and his gang of oligarchs are scared to death of US shale gas â€" and the “Cameron Parish Project.”

They know it could put them out of business in Europe.

That’s how massive this incredible $400 billion “Cameron Parish Project” is.

REVEALED: The lucrative truth behind…

The Dept. of Energy’s Mysterious $400 Billion “Cameron Parish Project”

In a muddy Louisiana bayou town, the US government is quietly sponsoring a breakthrough experiment set to solve one of the greatest energy problems of our time…

But only a handful of companies have the green light to exploit it for huge gains…

INSIDE: How the “Cameron Parish Project” could pay you $16,500 or more every year… for the next 20 years and beyond…

Dear Reader,

A drive through the marshy bayou of Cameron Parish, Louisiana, can be a bit depressing.

Poverty and hardship are everywhere in this Gulf community.

Mangled cars dot the outskirts, reminders of the devastation of Hurricanes Rita and Ike.

Some of the residents are still living in the shabby temporary trailers built after homes were wiped out… first by Rita in 2005 and then by Ike in 2008.

As you cruise through town, you’ll notice many of the old shops are abandoned. The mostly Creole population shrank drastically after Rita.

The post office closed down. Only one bank and one gas station remained. There used to be three local grocery stores â€" after the storms, there were none.

In fact, only the crawfish have much value. You’ll even see people stop on the side of the road to dig them up from the mud.

Yes, Cameron Parish has been down on its luck for some time now…

But all of that is about to change… quickly.

You see, this remote community could soon be the source of billions of dollars in wealth…

You might not be able to find it on a map, but what happens in Cameron Parish may singlehandedly dictate much of the world’s energy future.

In a cove off the Gulf Coast, behind a large security gate, a mysterious project is being built under the watchful eyes of the US Department of Energy.

The breakthrough experiment conducted inside the massive building will have sweeping ramifications for American foreign policy, international energy security and the financial markets.

If you act swiftly, you could claim your share in these riches.

I’m talking about a chance to collect regular quarterly payments that could reach five figures every year â€" for the next 20 years and beyond.

You’ve been looking for an opportunity that could generate steady but spectacular income to fund your retirement…

This is it.

In a moment, I’ll tell you exactly how you could cash in…

But I have to confess, I’ve hardly ever seen anything like the massive energy “experiment” taking place in Cameron Parish.

What I’m sharing with you today has nothing to do with solar, wind, geothermal power or uranium. And it’s not another overhyped oil discovery.

Yet this unique $400 billion experiment has the potential to solve one of the greatest energy problems plaguing America right now.

Here at home, it also means the creation of thousands of new jobs, economic growth and a reduction in the national deficit.

But for the world, the results of this experiment could trigger a huge geopolitical power shift.

Meanwhile, this energy technology is going to mint money for early investors…

And you could be one of them.

Rep. Blackburn: Obama Wants a Government Shutdown, Not GOP
Friday, 09 Aug 2013 09:13 PM
By Todd Beamon

President Barack Obama wants the GOP to shut down the federal government in its quest of defund Obamacare, Rep. Marsha Blackburn told Newsmax on Friday.

"He's the one who wants a government shutdown," the Tennessee Republican said. "He's probably looking at it and saying: 'Shut it down. Give me the checkbook â€" and I get to control all discretionary spending, the Obamacare spending, the mandatory spending.'

"He's just sitting there saying: 'Have at it. Give it a shutdown,'" Blackburn added.

"That's not what we want. We want for him to be working with us instead of running around the country giving campaign speeches."

Blackburn was among several GOP legislators who shared their insights on Obama's comments at his White House news conference.

The president's harshest words for were for Capitol Hill Republicans, who have threatened to shut down the government on Oct. 1 in their effort to defund Obamacare.

Negotiations over the continuing resolution to finance the government begin next week. Congress will have to pass the resolution by the end of September to keep the government operating.
"The American people would have difficulty understanding why we would weaken our economy, shut down our government, shut down vital services, have people who are not getting paid who then can't go to restaurants or shop for clothes or all the other things that we're doing here â€" because Republicans have determined that they don't want to see these folks get health care," Obama said, his anger growing as he addressed a reporter's question on the subject.

"They used to say they had a replacement," the president added. "I've been hearing about this whole replacement thing for two years. Now, I just don't hear about it, because basically, they don't have an agenda to provide health insurance to people at affordable rates.

"And the idea that you would shut down the government at a time when the recovery's getting some traction, where we're growing, although not as fast as we need to, where the housing market is recovering, although not as fast as we would like, that we would precipitate another crisis here in Washington that no economist thinks is a good idea â€" I'm assuming that they will not take that path.

"I have confidence that common sense in the end will prevail," Obama said.

Blackburn told Newsmax that the only common-sense approach on Obamacare is for Republicans to "make certain that there is no way that any money, any taxpayer money, is going to go into this bill because the majority of the American people do not want this law.

"They don't want Obamacare," she added. "They want to keep what they've got. They're really upset about this."

Republicans have been proposing healthcare reforms since Obama's bipartisan 2009 healthcare summit at Blair House in Washington.

These include allowing Americans to buy health insurance across state lines and ensuring that insurers faithfully back the policies they sell.

"The difference between his proposals and our proposals are that ours are patient-centered, free-market-oriented â€" and theirs are government-centered," Blackburn told Newsmax. "We want to leave the control with the patients."

In fact, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia released a list of GOP proposals to lower healthcare costs and to improve services.

These include legislation to establish programs to provide coverage to Americans with pre-existing conditions, to end "junk lawsuits" against doctors and insurance companies, and to prevent insurers from unjustly cancelling policies or instituting lifetime spending caps.

"Rather than engage in partisan attacks, President Obama should work with Congress to implement better healthcare reforms that lower costs, protect jobs and provide better care, as Republicans have consistently offered," Rory Cooper, a Cantor spokesman, told Newsmax.

"Obamacare increases costs, turns full-time jobs into part-time jobs and reduces the quality of care," he added. "President Obama should urge the Senate to pass our bill codifying his desired employer mandate delay which also extends this privilege to every individual citizen.”

Former South Carolina GOP Sen. Jim DeMint told Newsmax that the House should defund Obamacare no matter what the risk to the Republican Party, even if it leads to a government shutdown.

"We all know this is a terrible bill, and the more we learn about it the more we understand it's going to hurt people, it's going to hurt our country," said DeMint, who now is the president of the Heritage Foundation. "This may be our last chance to stop it, and the only way to stop it when Republicans control only the House is to fund the government but not to include any funding for Obamacare."

And Republican Rep. Peter King of New York, who is considering a White House run in 2016, was even more blunt in his response to Obama's news conference.

“I wish he showed the same anger toward Edward Snowden as he did to the Republicans on Obamacare,” King told CNN.

We can come to look upon the deaths of our enemies with as much regret as we feel for those of our friends, namely, when we miss their existence as witnesses to our success.
Arthur Schopenhauer
Mr. Diablo

There is no joy without hardship. If not for death, would we appreciate life? If not for hate, would we know the ultimate goal is love? … At these moments you can either hold on to negativity and look for blame, or you can choose to heal and keep on loving.

No one is prevented from getting rich by lack of capital. True, as you get capital the
increase becomes more easy and rapid, but one who has capital is already rich and
does not need to consider how to become so. No matter how poor you may be, if you
begin to do things in the certain way you will begin to get rich and you will begin to
have capital. The getting of capital is a part of the process of getting rich and it is a
part of the result that invariably follows the doing of things in the certain way. You
may be the poorest person on the continent and be deeply in debt.
You may not have friends, influences, or resources, but if you begin to do things in
this way, you must infallibly begin to get rich, for like causes must produce like
effects. If you have no capital, you can get capital. If you are in the wrong business,
you can get into the right business. If you are in the wrong location, you can go to the
right location. And you can do so by beginning in your present business and in your
present location to do things in the certain way that always causes success. You must
begin to live in harmony with the laws governing the universe.
#166
THERE IS A SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH,
and it is an exact science, like algebra
or arithmetic. There are certain laws that govern the process of acquiring riches, and
once these laws are learned and obeyed by anyone, that person will get rich with
mathematical certainty.
The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain
way, and those who do things in this certain way â€" whether on purpose or
accidentally â€" get rich, while those who do not do things in this certain way â€" no
matter how hard they work or how able they are â€" remain poor.
It is natural laws that like causes always produce like effects, and, therefore, any man
or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich. That the
above statement is true is shown by the following facts: Getting rich is not a matter of
environment, for if it were, all the people in certain neighborhoods would become
wealthy.
The people of one city would all be rich, while those of other towns would all be poor,
or all the inhabitants of one state would roll in wealth, while those of an adjoining
state would be in poverty. But everywhere we see rich and poor living side-by-side, in
the same environment, and often engaged in the same vocations.
When two people are in the same locality and in the same business, and one gets rich
while the other remains poor, it shows that getting rich is not primarily a matter of environment. Some environments may be more favorable than others, but when two
people in the same business are in the same neighborhood and one gets rich while the
other fails, it indicates that getting rich is the result of doing things in a certain way.
And further, the ability to do things in this certain way is not due solely to the
possession of talent, for many people who have great talent remain poor, while others
who have very little talent get rich.
Studying the people who have gotten rich, we find that they are an average lot in all
respects, having no greater talents and abilities than other people have. It is evident
that they do not get rich because they possess talents and abilities that others do not
have, but because they happen to do things in a certain way.
Getting rich is not the result of saving, or thrift. Many very penurious people are poor,
while free spenders often get rich. Nor is getting rich due to doing things which others
fail to do, for two people in the same business often do almost exactly the same
things, and one gets rich while the other remains poor or becomes bankrupt.
From all these things, we must come to the conclusion that getting rich is the result of
doing things in a certain way. If getting rich is the result of doing things in a certain
way, and if like causes always produce like effects, then any man or woman who can
do things in that way can become rich, and the whole matter is brought within the
domain of exact science.
The question arises here as to whether this certain way may not be so difficult that
only a few may follow it. As we have seen, this cannot be true (as far as natural ability
is concerned). Talented people get rich, and blockheads get rich; intellectually
brilliant people get rich, and very stupid people get rich; physically strong people get
rich, and weak and sickly people get rich.
Some degree of ability to think and understand is, of course, essential, but insofar as
natural ability is concerned, any man or woman who has sense enough to read and
understand these words can certainly get rich. Also, we have seen that it is not a
matter of environment. Yes, location counts for something. One would not go to the
heart of the Sahara and expect to do successful business.
Getting rich involves the necessity of dealing with people and of being where there
are people to deal with, and if these people are inclined to deal in the way you want to
deal, so much the better. But that is about as far as environment goes. If anybody else
in your town can get rich, so can you, and if anybody else in your state can get rich, so
can you. Again, it is not a matter of choosing some particular business or profession.
People get rich in every business and in every profession, while their next-door
neighbours in the very same vocation remain in poverty.
It is true that you will do best in a business you like and which is congenial to you.
And if you have certain talents that are well developed, you will do best in a business
that calls for the exercise of those talents. Also, you will do best in a business which is
suited to your locality: An ice cream parlor would do better in a warm climate than in
Greenland, and a salmon fishery will succeed better in the northwest than in Florida,
where there are no salmon. But, aside from these general limitations, getting rich is
not dependent upon your engaging in some particular business, but upon your learning
to do things in a certain way. If you are now in business and anybody else in your
locality is getting rich in the same business, while you are not getting rich, it is simply
because you are not doing things in the same way that the other person is doing them

Wherever there is unexpressed possibility or function not performed, there is
unsatisfied desire. Desire is possibility seeking expression or function seeking
performance.
A person cannot live fully in body without good food, comfortable clothing, and
warm shelter, and without freedom from excessive toil. Rest and recreation are also
necessary to his physical life. One cannot live fully in mind without books and time to
study them, without opportunity for travel and observation, or without intellectual
companionship.
To live fully in mind a person must have intellectual recreations, and must surround
himself with all the objects of art and beauty he is capable of using and appreciating.
To live fully in soul, a person must have love, and love is denied fullest expression by
poverty. A person’s highest happiness is found in the bestowal of benefits on those he
loves; love finds its most natural and spontaneous expression in giving. The individual
who has nothing to give cannot fill his place as a spouse or parent, as a citizen, or as a
human being.
It is in the use of material things that a person finds full life for his body, develops his
mind, and unfolds his soul. It is therefore of supreme importance to each individual to
be rich. It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich. If you are a normal man
or woman you cannot help doing so. It is perfectly right that you should give your best
attention to the science of getting rich, for it is the noblest and most necessary of all
studies. If you neglect this study, you are derelict in your duty to yourself, to God and
humanity, for you can render to God and humanity no greater service than to make the
most of yourself.

CHAPTER 2 There Is A Science of Getting Rich
#168
CHAPTER 1 The Right To Be Rich

WHATEVER MAY BE SAID IN PRAISE OF POVERTY, the fact remains that it is
not possible to live a really complete or successful life unless one is rich.
No one can rise to his greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless he
has plenty of money, for to unfold the soul and to develop talent he must have many
things to use, and he cannot have these things unless he has money to buy them
with. A person develops in mind, soul, and body by making use of things, and society
is so organized that man must have money in order to become the possessor of things.
Therefore, the basis of all advancement must be the science of getting rich.
The object of all life is development, and everything that lives have an inalienable
right to all the development it is capable of attaining. A person’s right to life means
his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary
to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfolding; or, in other words, his right to
be rich. In this book, I shall not speak of riches in a figurative way. To be really rich
does not mean to be satisfied or contented with a little.
No one ought to be satisfied with a little if he is capable of using and enjoying more.
The purpose of nature is the advancement and unfolding of life, and everyone should
have all that can contribute to the power, elegance, beauty, and richness of life. To be
content with less is sinful. The person who owns all he wants for the living of all the
life he is capable of living is rich, and no person who has not plenty of money can
have all he wants.
Life has advanced so far and become so complex that even the most ordinary man or
woman requires a great amount of wealth in order to live in a manner that even
approaches completeness. Every person naturally wants to become all that they are
capable of becoming.
This desire to realize innate possibilities is inherent in human nature; we cannot help
wanting to be all that we can be. Success in life is becoming what you want to be.
You can become what you want to be only by making use of things, and you can have
the free use of things only as you become rich enough to buy them. To understand the
science of getting rich is therefore the most essential of all knowledge.
There is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich. The desire for riches is really the
desire for a richer, fuller, and more abundant life â€" and that desire is praiseworthy.
The person who does not desire to live more abundantly is abnormal, and so the
person who does not desire to have money enough to buy all he wants is abnormal.
There are three motives for which we live: We live for the body, we live for the mind,
and we live for the soul. No one of these is better or holier than the other; all are alike
desirable, and no one of the three â€" body, mind, or soul â€" can live fully if either of
the others is cut short of full life and expression. It is not right or noble to live only for
the soul and deny mind or body, and it is wrong to live for the intellect and deny body
or soul.
We are all acquainted with the loathsome consequences of living for the body and
denying both mind and soul, and we see that real life means the complete expression
of all that a person can give forth through body, mind, and soul.
Whatever he can say, no one can be really happy or satisfied unless his body is living
fully in its every function, and unless the same is true of his mind and his soul.

LeBron James overwhelmed by fan support, vows to return
By Alder Almo for NBA.com Philippines/Philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines â€" With his immense popularity in the Philippines, LeBron James could hardly believe it is just his first time to set foot on this basketball-crazy nation.

Facing throngs of media members and fans in a press conference arranged by Nike Philippines as part of his “Witness History” tour, James expressed delight by the warm reception he received.

“This is very overwhelming, to see all these people excited. I’m looking forward to what today brings,” an ecstatic James told a packed crowd at the Shangri-La Hotel in Makati in the press conference that was also aired lived on ANC.

James finally experienced what his Miami coach Erik Spoelstra told him before going here.

"He said it's a great country and [Filipino] people are passionate about what they love and what they believe in," said James, who was clad in his signature Nike tee and blue shorts.

The four-time NBA Most Valuable Player went on to talk about the Miami Heat’s recent championship odyssey â€" in which they bested the San Antonio Spurs in seven games to win their second straight NBA championship â€" and how “emotionally draining” it was.

The Miami Heat superstar sat for almost 12 minutes with event host Boom Gonzales. At one point, James â€" who took home the Finals MVP trophy for the series â€" even downplayed his role in the Heat’s title conquest.

“No matter how good one individual is, it takes a team to win a championship,” he said.

An open forum originally slated was eventually scrapped to maximize the limited time of James

James’ “Witness History” tour includes stops at the Nike Park store at the Bonifacio High Street in Taguig and at the Mall of Asia Arena to meet thousands of fans, most of whom camped out for days just to obtain free tickets to the event.

At the MOA Arena, James will cap off his one-day tour with a skills challenge to be participated by some local Nike Basketball endorsers.

James, for his part, already hinted at returning to country.

"I' can't believe it's my first time here. I understand how huge basketball here," James said. "It's definitely not going to be my last."

Help & Support / Where The Real Lessons Come From
July 26, 2013, 07:44:29 PM

Where The Real Lessons Come From

Many of the business books you get these days are full of fluff. The real lessons come from men and women who don't really have the time to write. That's why I'm consulting with a busy CEO (who wishes to remain anonymous) to extract the valuable lessons that he needs to share with the world. We worked together on today's essay to share an important success secret with you - one that has powered a very rich man's career.

Craig Ballantyne

"That which is most satisfying is that which is earned. Anything received free of charge is seldom valued." - Dave Kekich, Credo #3

A Rich Man's Greatest Secret
By "Cooper", the CEO
He's rich, powerful, respected and proud of the fact that he has the same best friends since he was an early teenager.

Nothing was handed to him; he earned it all.

If you ask him, as I did in 2011, he'll tell you his achievements all come down to the consistent application of his "greatest secret to success".

Think of it like a formula for gaining power and just about anything else you want in life. This formula can work for you. I'm sure of it. It can turn you into a powerful, wealthy businessperson if that's what you want. It can get you elected, if that is your goal. It can even help you find the love of your life.

However, here's the catch...

You'll probably reject it as too simplistic.

Most people do. You'll see it as risky. You'll have to start giving a lot more of yourself and, odds are, you won't want to do it. You'll think it's unfair so you won't really try.

Nevertheless - if you can get over yourself, apply and evolve the formula over time, you can have virtually anything you want.

Here's how it works.

Early in life, you probably discovered there are only two ways to get what you want.

1) You can try to find a way to take what you want.

Or

2) You can find a way for the things you want to be given to you.

Of course, 'taking' can often be unethical so that's not a long-term formula for success, which leaves us with convincing people and the world to give us things.

How does one encourage the world to give its fruits?

It sounds a bit harsh when put this way, but it's true: much of life is transactional.

We must give to get.

If I want something from the world, I know I have to earn it. Whether it is love or a job or even a pleasant greeting from someone, you can have it all if you're willing to give in advance.

As my rich and successful friend put it, "If you want people to do nice things for you and be a part of your life, you must always keep the 'friendship bank' in the black."

"Giving to Get" is the first step in developing a value creation disposition. Value creation is the secret to getting everything you ever wanted.

You will make great progress in all areas of life simply by developing the habit of always asking yourself, "How can I add value to this person/situation?"

It won't come naturally. It will require focus and training as you learn to set aside your desires so that you're more objectively able to help others.

A Giving to Get approach can take you far in life. Most of the successful folks I know have mastered at least this step.

Giving to Get, or giving first and hoping for benefits later, is the root of all successful relationships. Give love if you want to receive love. Give a kind word first if you're hoping for one in return. Give trust if you hope to be trusted. Give your full faith and effort toward common cause if you want the same.

Giving to Get vs. Going to Bat

Giving works all the time, but most people feel it's risky so they hold back. That's precisely why the Give to Get crowd finds much greater success then average. Being willing to take on the little bit of risk and give in advance moves Give to Getters up the ladder quickly.

Giving to Get is effective and is why, unfortunately, most folks stop here, at step one, thinking they've reached the top. This tactic produces results, but only in relatively tiny ways and in limited circles.

The truth is, Giving to Get is superficial.

It's a start, but it's the two dimensional version of value creation... productive in the short term and simply unwise in the long game.

[The "long game" is a topic for another day, but trust me, this is the game you want to be playing.]

So, what's better than giving to get?

Try this for a change.

Try going to bat for someone.

Look to a friend or colleague who's been struggling to beat back some demon or overcome an overwhelming obstacle. Steel yourself and say to them, "Don't worry. I've got this one."

I'm suggesting you do this without regard for any gain on your part. I'm telling you to throw down for them. To go to the ends of the earth for them. To back them up in their time of need.

Make their plight your own, not to be swept up in the drama of it, but to sweep it aside for them as a demonstration of your power and love for that other person.

In his words, my rich friend advised, "It is truly amazing how learning to be generous, at all times, can change your life. As you know, it's not an effort to 'buy' people -- that doesn't work. It's just an effort to let people know that you're not ever going to 'take' from them. And that their being with you -- whether it's dinner out on the town or working in your company -- is always going to be over-the-top."

Try going beyond the Give to Get step and see what happens.

You already have within you everything you need ...

... to turn your dreams into reality. You are a person of infinite worth and unique
possibility. Even if you don't think of yourself as a creative person, and even if you've
failed before, and even if you think you've tried everything, open your mind to this
book.

You've probably heard the saying, "When the student is ready, the teacher appears."
That has certainly held true for me and many, many others, and perhaps you're ready,
too â€" right now. If you're not yet where you want to be in terms of income and your
own personal success, the problem may not be WHAT you're doing so much as HOW
you're doing it. And that begins with how you THINK.

If you want to change your life, you may just need to change your mind!

Can you handle the challenge?

By the time I finished the book I understood why he had included that warning. You
see, some of what you'll read or hear will most likely challenge some of your previous
thinking. That seems to be the case for most people â€" and I think Mr. Wattles
designed it that way! But keep on, and you'll soon see how Mr. Wattles beautifully
builds each chapter on what he presents in the preceding ones. I think you'll find
yourself saying â€" as I and many others have â€" "Oh, now I see why he said that. Now
I see how it all fits together."

Become rightly rich.
I believe also that you'll find it absolutely refreshing to know that to get rich by the
method outlined here, it is essential that you embrace and practice what we all know
as the Golden Rule ... that the daily practice of gratitude is one of the conduits by
which your wealth will come to you ... and that by accomplishing your financial
dreams through this method, everyone with whom you come into contact will also
have more.

A far cry from the dog-eat-dog, claw your way to the top, anything for a buck
mentality so many believe to be the only way to wealth!
Pay close attention to the message of this book with an open mind. Get a free copy of
the entire printable version right here â€" and read it. Print it out and give it to your

Work with the law, go with the tide.

Until this book arrived, nothing I had ever read or heard before had explained to me
so clearly that there are universal laws at work regarding wealth and success and that
if we'll just work with those laws â€" go with the tide instead of trying to swim against
it (usually unknowingly) â€" the results we want will begin to come to us. That if we
will scientifically reproduce the causes of wealth, we will invariably reproduce the
results.

Now right off the bat, author Wallace D. Wattles says that instead of questioning how
these principles work, you'll need simply to accept them and begin to practice them.
So I did that, even though as I read I did find myself resisting from time to time and
thinking, "Well, I don't know if I can agree with that." But I'd already decided just to
accept each premise as if I thoroughly believed it.

Everything changed.

Right away I began to put into practice what the book outlines ... and everything
began to change. "Coincidences" happened â€" happy ones that led to connections with
people ... that led to more connections ... that led to money beginning to flow toward me in increasingly larger amounts and from several sources, including new and unexpected ones.

And even though changing your habitual thinking is difficult and I'm still not as good at it as I intend to be, my businesses began to "click," my income doubled, then tripled, and continues to rise ... my cramped city apartment gave way to a spacious and peaceful waterfront home ... I've established rewarding new relationships with many generous, successful, wealthy people ... and opportunities to be, do, have, and give more continue to show up at my doorstep almost daily.

It's amazing â€" and wonderful!

Hello! I'm Rebecca Fine, and I am so pleased to introduce you to this exciting
forgotten classic!

When The Science of Getting Rich arrived in the mail that afternoon I immediately
ripped open the package, sat down, and read it with an open mind â€" mostly because
the title was just so intriguing. And even though I must admit I found some of the oldfashioned language and some of the ideas in the first part a bit confusing, there was something about it that compelled me to reread those little confusing bits two or three times until ... I got it!

Once I'd done that, I couldn't stop reading until I'd read the whole thing!

INTRODUCTION

This book is pragmatical, not philosophical. It is a practical manual, not a treatise on theories. It is intended for the men and women whose most pressing need is for moneyâ€"for people who wish to get rich first and philosophize afterward. It is for those who have, so far, found neither the time, the means, or the opportunity to go deeply into the study of metaphysics. It is intended for those who want results and who are willing to take the conclusions of science as a basis for actionâ€"without going into all the processes by which those conclusions were reached.
I expect the reader to take my statements on faith just as he would take statements concerning a law of electrical action if they were promulgated by a Marconi or an Edison. By taking these statements on faith, he will prove their truth by acting upon them without fear or hesitation. Every man or woman who does this will certainly get rich. The science in this book is an exact science, and failure is impossible. Nevertheless, for the benefit of those who wish to investigate philosophical theories and so secure a logical basis for faith, I will cite certain authorities.
The monistic theory of the universeâ€"the theory that one substance appears to manifest itself as the many elements of the material worldâ€"is of Hindu origin and has been gradually winning its way into the thought of the Western world for two hundred years. It is the foundation of all the Oriental philosophies and has found a place in the thought of Descartes, Spinoza, Leibnitz, Schopenhauer, Hegel, and Emerson. The reader who would dig to the philosophical foundations is advised to read Hegel and Emerson for himself.
In writing this book I have used a plain style so that all might understand. The following plan of action has been thoroughly tested and bears the supreme test for any practical experiment: it works. If you wish to know how the conclusions were arrived at, read the writings of the authors mentioned above. If you wish to reap the fruits of their philosophies in actual practice, read this book and do exactly as it tells you to do.
