Thanks. I will never part with my point and shoot because it is so versatile and the 12x optical zoom is amazing! I kinda wanna take faster pictures though so I think I might have to resort to the dslr. Unless somehow it is tweakable on the P&S.

It may be a big headache, but it runs all of my favorite programs. And plus new Windows laptops at the stores don't come with the good ol' XP anymore...

Me too Is it a regular point and shoot or is it a digital SLR camera? I have 2 SP Olympus 500-UZ's and they're pretty fun to use with all the different picture settings. I really want a digital SLR camera. I'm aiming for either a Canon XTi Rebel, the Nikon D80, or the Sony a300/a350.

The iPhone is not necessarily bad software-wise. I really like the design, and the programs and features available for it... but it seems a little hard to type on the on-screen keyboard and the obsessive-compulsiveness that would occur from preventing the screen to be scratched.

What are you using the laptop for.

There are a lot of things to consider: Mac or PC, Price range, Good Customer Support, Ample RAM, and of course, if you want special features like a Blu-Ray player, lightscribe labeling or something like that.

I have a loaded HP dv2754se. I do some mild gaming- but graphics wise the games I play take a lot of computer RAM. (ex. The Sims 2, Counterstrike source...) I also do a LOT of High Definition video production, as well as audio.

The only reason I didn't get a Mac laptop was its compatibility issues with some of my games, programs, and accessories. BTW: It is possibly to boot Windows from a Mac, but personally, it's an inconvenience for me.

If you're going to use your laptop a lot, it would be nice to have either a glossy finish around the mousepad area. I had a Toshiba Satellite before and the area around the mousepad warped pretty quickly so it was a little unsightly when I removed my wrists from the area.

I own an HTC Hermes/ATT 8525. It has everything from Microsoft Office, which comes in handy most of the time. The alarm also does a good job with waking me up. It won't stop ringing until I shut it off at least 5 times when I hit snooze. lol

I just finished editing a video. Now I can finally go to sleep.

In less than 24 hours, I have to:

Finish painting my room
Move all the furniture back in my room
Clean two rooms
Solve a couple problems from my Chemistry book
and find time to eat.




...and I just woke up from a looong nap. Now I'm going to finish painting.

Commercialism invading these types of events are far from new, but regardless, it is definitely a shame. During the Fourth of July I wondered if I could just walk up to any kid on the block and ask them about the history behind "America's Independence".

Thanks The cake was a carrot cake and the cupcakes were a mix of low sugar pound cake cupcake and chocolate.

Ate Ging made this wonderful extravagant cake for our church's Knights of Columbus ceremony. All the people were astonished and delighted when they tasted this.

Some people are trying to get around the rice price increase... Switching from Jasmine rice to Calrose... lol

I can't even imagine all the possibilities this idea could potentially lead to!  From call centers to booking agencies, imagine serving the people of Bohol and others! Of course, as the price of oil and agricultural goods increases, there is also the issue of affordability to the various clientele.

Afterwards, we went to a friend's party for two former co-workers who came to visit. As always, I chilled with the kids.

I went to see the doctor after I had what seemed to be the flu last week. Everything seemed to be ok so my mom and I headed to the mall and went on a shopping spree. I'm glad we weren't subjected to the smokey air outside. Too many fires in California... =(

I started getting a sore throat last Tuesday, had a fever from Wednesday through Friday-ish, and now that my fever is gone, this is the the third day that I barely have a voice.  AAAAHHHH!

I woke up and played Wii Tennis for a while, then I finished painting the purple side of my bedroom walls. Hopefully I'll get to finish painting everything in a couple of days. 

Wii sports  A few Wiiware games and the Super Nintendo/Wii Console version of Donkey Kong 2.

Unfortunately, I don't have the 360 kuya...

PS: If anyone is still looking for a Wii, I have discovered that a lot of local GameStop stores carry them. After going to three Best Buy and Target stores in the past month, I was able to get one at the GameStop at our mall. To my surprise, the guy told me that they get 10 Wii's every week. 

Anyone wanna be Wii buddies? I just got one today.... lol

I bought a pair of Pumas a while ago. Haven't worn them yet.

I backed up my laptop files on a couple DVD data disks because my soundcard keeps on hissing when I am doing video chats with friends/family. I'll probably go to Best Buy later to get it replaced, or at the very least, looked at.

I just bought a Pearlscale goldfish yesterday. Supposedly, these things can grow up to the size of a baseball! I hope they grow slow because I just have a 10 gallon tank right now. 

I used to have a Betta fish that lived a REALLY long time, but the first one died when I was in the Philippines and the second one died within two years. 

Any suggestions for names for this one? Right now, I'm just calling him Mr. Fishie... lol

Yes kuya, on vacation until September 4th. But for now, I am catching up on my readings for next semester's chemistry while accompanying Ate Ging to different places during the week.

it's a video game where you have one person playing drums, one on the microphone, one on the guitar and one on the bass. you could do a song with just one player, but it's always fun to get like 4 players at a time on one song.. lol

Thanks Although Le Sportsac doesn't look that durable, I have a couple other items that have survived a series of beatings from my mechanical pencils and my share of heavy books. Most of their designs are pretty cute too
