Yes I agree that their dances are great. Very soulful and intense. From my own simple observations also (I don't know if this is scientifically or anthropologically sound) , the native American Indians have bloodlines with those of the Japanese, I think, because I have seen the offspring of inter-marriages between a Japanese and an native American or central American and one can see that some if not most of their kids look very native Japanese. Would you concur MDB? Or am I just talking or thinking jibberish... ;D

B.T.W., MDB, could you give me some links or comprehensive sites where I could read about these Native American Indians and get immersed in their life, music, culture and maybe even women..hehehehehe.. sori mogawas pud ning kapilyohan nako basta kitag gwapa.. ;D

Naay ponto si Willy pero, but he shouldn't have said it live on air. You can never accuse Willy of being frank. "Crass" maybe and yes, he is hambugero. Did you remember there was one instance which also became news, about an altercation between him and a certain guy whom he was playing basketball with and he (Willy Revillame) was waving and pointing a gun? Lucky for him that we and the other guy's relative was not around when that happened 'cause we would have splattered his (Willy Revillame's) brains all over the basketball court at that instant... Much worse, he is a "wife beater". Just ask his ex wives...

noted, sir.

anyway, layo na man kaayo mi taga valencia and other municipalities facing the mindanao island sa getafe, do you think its reasonable to use the bridge in going to cebu?

also, dili kaha ta mangawa sa cebu nga wa ra ba ta mangaanad ug basa ug map, use of traffice light and other traffic regulations? dakop jud nis cebu ba, madato ang citom.

The highway that will cross the interior of Bohol (Tubigon-Carmen-Jagna or if you want it Jagna-Carmen-Tubigon...) will make the trip faster and shorter, dili hassle sa taga west-coast mo access ana nga bridge BAI CALLE... ang kani nga highway mas sayo-sayo pa ni mahuman. Even way before the bridge kay kani nga highway part sa SRNH or Strong Republic Nautical Highways or RORO Highways Project sa current national Administration... The preparations for this project has already been rolling...

18 kms = 11.25 miles. You cannot compare the volume of traffic of San Juanico Bridge to the impending possible volume of traffic of Cebu-Bohol Multi-Access Friendship bridge as to since the latter's traffic volume will definitely be way much higher than former kay mas prone to highway robbery ang San Juanico...

Korak ka jan MDB! But my preference gyud sa mga land vehicles are the fast, sleek and slick sports cars (specially the Lamborghinis and Ferraris), 2nd to that are the street bikes, then dirt bikes/ATVs and last are the off-road 4-wheel drives. But my dream vehicles gyud are the supersonic fighter jet planes! Unsaon, frustrated fighter pilot man gud ko, pagsulod nakos military sa army manko natugpa... mao mantinir nalang tag land vehicles..hehehehe

There's a H1 Hummer replica assembled in Southern Luzon - nga pag-nakita nimo you would never recognize nga kopya lang-unless you are expert and costs only 1/4 sa presyo sa original and  sikat sa Australian market, they have models displayed in Makati, the manager told me they accept local orders too.

The one I saw parked at Plaza Rizal looks exactly like the one on the picture, color and everything. I've scrutinized and driven these imitation H1 & H2. My preference is the HUMMER Alpha, the one that's being used by the US Army with the exact military specs. Special the ones that you can drive in water that's even neck deep...more like a running submarine  I might say... and still has armor plating...

Married men tend to be settled, educated, established, secured.
Their bases are 'covered'.

The nest is established.

As a result, a younger woman cannot help but dream of 'nestling' in that nest. And having the older bird fertilize her eggs.

Stability, strength, and provision attracts a woman. Women subconsciously think with their eggs. They look for a successful man, established man, to provide for her needs and the needs of a hypothetical family.

More often than not what your stating Lorenzo baby is the common reason why this happens. Naa pay medyo kinomedya pagkasulti pero an actual fact.

On the other side (the older married men) IT'S SO DAMN TEMPTING!!! Sometimes our ego gets the better of us and we succumb to these carnal desires, then, the problem begins...lipay si TANING!!!

MAGALING! Nakatuhog si Ms. DaBins as to one of the evolutions of the ports that we have. When the Airport operates, this will also signal the arrival of Cruise Ships. And who do international cruise ship operators prefer as crew in these ships? Pinoy's, particularly Bol-anons! Dili ba ta malipay ana?

Did anybody know that the rehabilitation and enhancement of the Maribojoc Port has already been initiated? I was amazed to learn that the Maribojoc Port was built many centuries ago and was indeed the original port before the conquistadores decided to move to Tagbilaran since ships can better be protected there in times of extreme weather conditions. And yes it will the first or one of the first to dock the very large cruise ships which will have Bohol in their itineraries. Now doesn't that spell activity for Maribojoc? Or to the other areas who have ports that can accommodate larger ships?

Another thing. Pag maka match-up nata sa international standards of food processing/packaging for export, asa mas dali or mas barato mag agi pag mag export na either by ship or by plane? Moadto paba ta sa Cebu? Or direkta tag hatod sa airport or pantalan... Imagine the savings of fuel and man hours and livelihood for the local folk particularly ang atoang mga kargadores nga mas desyente pa nyag pamorma unya binuwan na ang sweldo... (This is an informal invitation to prospective investors in contractual manpower servicing  ;D).

And furthermore, economic zones will be established in the province and the old airport is a very good candidate as an export zone. Aside from being a local economic zone.

Naturally, the number of boat trips will drastically reduce. Presently there are 19 departures for Cebu everyday from 6:25am to 12mn; and 16 departures from Cebu to Tubigon.  Other ports are those in Tagbilaran, Loon, Clarin, Buenavista, Getafe, Ubay, Talibon and Jagna. Think about the porters, pusu-barbecue vendors, tricycle or trisikad drivers,  jeepney drivers, pasalubong vendors, etc. During the operation phase, toll gate personnel na lang juy ma employ ana.  I heard nagpinalitay na og yuta sa proposed approach of the bridge in Getafe; mostly by dummies of one or very few influential persons.  That should spell millions once the government buys these lots from them.

At the first few months mura tingalig mo slow down ning mga port s nga imong gidudahan nga  mang hinay nga ports pero, statistics-wise and experience wise. Maayo lang ning land trip og bag-o pa sigeha di ba kapoy kaayo. This bridege will definitely spur economic activities in the North-East to North-Western parts of the province which so long a time craved be blessed with economic activities. Do you know that the northern part of the province is being prepped as the retirement haven or for the aged among our European and American. Most specially the home stay types wherein Boholano families are the ones to be directly paid by the familes who will be caring for the aged parents of our continental neighbors provided they meet the minimum qualifications. Another thing, ANDA Peninsula is primed to be the next Panglao. The key here is having standard accommodation facilities if we are to compete with Cebu in bringing the tourist to our [province instead of Bohol just being a side-trip, kumbaga balihon nato ang present scenario. Why don't you think about unsaon nimo pagsakay niini samtang sayo pa kay og mag "wait and see attitude" gihapon ta aw kita rapuy maalkanse di ba.. It's ridiculous pud as one comments mentioned pud nga ipang labay kuno nga mga kalamay sa manglbay nga sakyanan. Of course, naa gyud nay specialized re-routing for non-cargo vehicles to pass by a certain area nga toa nakahimutanng nga mga ika-pang hambog natong mga pagkaon og ubang mga produkto. We cannot stop progress but what we can do is make use of the opportunities and think of practical if not creative ways of making do with whats available dili lang kay pahungit lang kanunay. We are Boholanos, were not idiots, aren't we?

MS DA BINS. I think you are referring to the eco-adventure tourism sites. Yes naa nay daghang nangsulpot nga mga ing ani nga sites. Some have asked assistance from ODFs. Again MS DABINS, what specific or rather particular peace and order problem are we talking about here? Are we talking about those brought about by progress and development (theft, robbery, drug-related crimes...) Tourism (commercial sex, pornography...) or rebellion (strange, we were just declared as not anymore in the insurgency radar"? Whether we like it or not, with progress comes these "demons". But what's important is having the will to do all things necessary to mitigate the effects of these "demons". Specially if one is "physically" partaking inn these mitigating measures...

MS DA BINSI, asa manka karon, naa baka sa Bohol? Or naa paka sa gawas sa probinsya or nasud ba kaha. What roads are you referring to when you say ayuhon ang karasada. If you are referring to roads in Tagbilaran, well, Mayor Lim has a different kind of thinking. But if you are referring to Provincial/National Roads I would be thinking you are talking about those areas where the rebels used to trod. But then again, even those far-flung barangays have generally good roads nowadays. Thanks to KALAHI-CIDDS, the ARCs and more. And besides, those areas are not where tourists go unless they are nostalgic communist who thinks of rekindling the communist action in these areas or porno-freaks who want to have unique and different back grounds for their flicks. The national/provincial roads here are even lauded not only by tourists but by other Filipinos from other parts of  the country as being one of the best roads in the nation. And moreso, there is another phase for the construction of additional roads (a highway for that matter) like for example the one that traverses from Tubigon to Carmen to Jagna. Could you specifically identify these places s that these might be further improved...

NOPE! I am definitely not Royalty. On my father's side my ancestor was one of the Spanish soldiers who retired and made the Philippines his retirement home somewhere in Luzon. My Lolo's mother, (father-side was a successful Chinese Merchant based in Cebu). My great-grandfather (mother's side) comes from a renowned clan of block-smiths of Cebu who was forcibly exiled to Southern Leyte for killing 14 people in a single fight just to defend a helpless friend (that's what the old folks say when I asked them about our roots). My mother's father who was a school teacher in their Barrio, was also hunted by the Japanese Imperial Army as he was suspected to be in the Guerilla Movement in So. Leyte during World War-II. So I could safely say I have no Royal Blood. A warrior's blood maybe...  ;D

Good for them that he is A Muslim Royalty. There Galo clans in the Mabini as well as those in Pres. Garcia or formerly Basiao. They are mostly Protestants. My lineage on my mother's mother side (My Lola for short) are the Galo-Sanico of Southern Leyte. I was just curious since because I know little of that side of my family tree....

Anyway I am also a victim as well as also guilty of the peculiarities of us Pinoys in giving names to their children. I am a vistim because to appease everyone all three suggested names for my first name given. I had almost thought I flunked during the then "NCEE" Exams in high school because I was the last one given the results. I found out that the last two letters of my family name was dropped off by the validating machine because it exceeded the number of boxes for the entries.

I am also guilty since I also gave three first names for my Children. My Eldest son has a "clothing pattern" and "a kind of a hat" for his 2nd and 3rd first name respectively. My second son has hist 3rd first name a combination of two significant event, the Philippine Centennial and the national elections and my youngest and only daughter has her 1st first name like that of a boy, 2nd first name like that of a period of time

Zero waste, food sustainability and high “carbo” content makes seaweeds viable bio-fuel source

By ZecurB

Current human civilization as we know it is steadily if not exponentially increasing its demand for energy. The bulk of our supply depends on fossil fuel (petroleum, coal) but experts predict that this source of energy will not last even up to the next century. Maybe, even less. Furthermore, consumption of these fossil fuels has created a negative impact towards the environment due to the emission of pollutants and other “greenhouse gases that has derailed the world’s climate. This has eventually affected global food production due to the onset of the “El Niño”, “La Niña” phenomena which continue to lay waste to vast tracts of agricultural areas and even affecting livestock as well.

All over the world there is a mad scramble to find alternative sources of energy. One group that is a promising source is gaining popularity. These are the bio-fuels. Among the bio-fuels that showed signs of viability are ethanol and bio-diesel. And Bohol, being an agricultural economy is fertile ground for initiatives in the preparations of the developing technologies and raw material sourcing.

During the press conference held at the Seglim Restaurant of Bohol Tropics Resort last Thursday afternoon, July 16, 2009 after the formal signing of Memorandum of Understanding on Marine Aquaculture between the Province of Bohol and the Republic of Korea, Dr. Gyungsoo Kim, President of the Biolsystems CO., Ltd. expounded to the members of the local media as to why the seaweeds was chosen fitting source of raw material for bio-ethanol production since seaweeds has very high carbohydrate content which is a good base for fermentation. Dr. Kim also added seaweeds is not one of the main sources of food production in the island province as compared to other raw materials such as corn, sugarcane, certain root crops, grains, fruit juices among others. The logic in that if ever large areas will be cultivated for the production of seaweeds this will not compete with other foods crops since this will be grown in the coastal areas while the food crops will continue to be grown and cultivated in the mainland thus continuing sustainability of food production. Furthermore, with the technology developed by Dr. Kim and Biolsystems, production of bio-ethanol from seaweeds produces zero-waste since the waste products or by-products can be used as good organic fertilizers, even thereby contributing to enrichment of the soil for the food crops in the mainland. More so, this is a sustainable source of energy since the raw materials can just be continuously planted.

Dr. Kim simplified in layman’s term how ethanol is produced. Raw material which is the seaweeds is hydrated (process of removing water or moisture) by a catalyst or enzyme to convert starches to sugar after which yeast is added to promote fermentation, distilled and further processed to produce the ethanol. Just similar to making the “tuba” or coco wine.

The Province of Bohol, saw the potentials of joining the bandwagon in the development of alternative particularly since Bohol is also an agricultural economy. And that this can also be a big contribution to the efforts towards poverty reduction due to the direct as well as indirect opportunities for livelihood not only to the province’s marginal fisher folks but to the Boholano people in general. Though it is just currently that the Province of Bohol delves into bio-ethanol development and production as the initiatives for the development of another bio-fuel which is bio-diesel production thru jatropha which had a head start, the provincial leadership envisions that these two initiatives will complement each other.

Have the Filipinos really left the pagan ways? Or were pagan practices have still been continued and the pagan gods and dieties replaced with the so-called catholic saints? It was easier to convert the pagans this way... Just for example celebrating the natal day on December when scientific proof tells us us that Jesus Christ was most likely born on summer. Putting up a christmas tree is a pagan practice, theis came from the Druids, who were the Druids? They were animists, they worshipped trees... I can mention more..

Condolence to the family. A sad fate it may seem for the loved ones who are left behind living in this world. But on the other of side it (I'm not being insensitive here) they are blessed for they are now in the presence of our maker, the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, (hopefully, they have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour)  for they are spared of the pain and the misery of living in the real HELL that is on EARTH.

The last time I was there was with my wife and a superior from my previous office a few years back, about  14 years ago, it was sometime in August, I was just newly hired as a regular employee and I was a new father then (the day before, my first born son was christened). And "luckily" or "unluckily" we came there days after a flood occurred. No wonder the local folks were weary when we arrived and learned that we were going to have a picnic at that time. A catastrophe like what happened to the two friends were a regular occurrence of that place.  Just like Kawasan Falls in Cebu...

Nope! There isn't really a scarcity sa bagow (pina-gahi). We still have more than what is needed even if the coco shells are sold as charcoal either for fuel or for the prized "deactivated carbon" that are component in filters. It is just that until now experiments have not yet produced a method or procedure in that case that can help increase the shelf life of the the calamay while using the "bagow" as packaging. Naa pa gihapon ng pilit kaayo nga kalamay, one just have to make sure that you buy the genuine calamay from the makers who have been at it for a long time. But for myself, I prefer calamay nga maingkib og mausap kana kon kilawon as is pero kon isagul sa pan aw lami gyud tong  laput kay ma sprea man nimog sakto sa pan.

As for the coco lumber, the cutting of coco lumber has been regulated nowadays. If there is a reason that there will be a scarcity of the "bagow" it would be because of the buko juice consumption as well as Brontispa infestation. But the lattter has already been contained...

Hahaha... my contemporaries then would envy me when I did the moonwalk during showdowns at the Gasoline Station along CPG Ave., that's beside in what is now Metrocenter Hotel. Breakdance showdowns then were the gangs and other groups mode of fighting instead of the traditional fists fights where only the egos were bruised not our faces... :)

It was during our time in high school when he was at his peak with songs such as "Thriller", "Beat It", "Do You wanna Be Starting Something", "Billy Jean" (which my group used to dance to whenever there were some functions that required some entertainment). During my elementary years I could not forget "Ben" and "I Wanna Rock With You", a theme from "ET" (which I forgot the title), also "Caribbean Girl". Dang! When I was way younger and slimmer I could mimic his moves, now I don't if I don't look gross when I do those moves  :)

Being happy is relative. But no one can truly be happy unless one is content of what one has because unhappiness stems from being unsatisfied with what one has. One can own the world but that does not ensure happiness while one might be content with being able to eat one full meal a day, have a place to protect him from the stinging sun or the cold rain yet he or she is truly happy... if you really want to be happy, be content of what you have now and be very grateful for it as others are more worse off...

Bolingitbaby, of course there's always hidden agenda by these funders, (nothings for free in this world), and it's "our" (responsive, responsible job to mitigate, buffer or downright oppose. As for lobbying, yes there is lobbying and "everybody up there" does not want "everybody down here" to be aware of that (catch my drift?). And the strongest unanimous reason that these funders retort without batting an eyelash is that the province of Bohol has very high rates of success and accomplishment compared to any other province in the country due to its leaders political will (but shyly say in whispers, it's also because of our leaders lobbying powers and connections)...

Question. What are the good, sound, logical reasons that one should vote for Cesar Montano? Justify it with hard facts? Assumptions not included.

If ever he wins, will the international organizations(UN for one) and/or other members of the international community (Australia, E.U., the US, Japan, South Korea, China,...etc) that have helped shaped Bohol's current positive development be so willing to continue to extend their help or will they become cautious and the province has to start from scratch again. We can only hope.

He may be, a good person inside, but the question is, will he be a good judge of character such that the people whom he will choose to surround him, his advisers, will have even a tenth of the golden heart and wisdom of the legendary wise King Solomon?

The future of the province and the welfare of the Boholano people is at stake here, how  much are we willing to gamble?

We can only hope and pray that by some miracle he can and will do great things but what are the stakes and how high are the stakes?

I don't know how many of those that are members of TB are really here in the Province and are actually voting this coming elections and have seen, can see and are exposed to the everyday life of all the social classes (from the marginal fisherman who volunteers to maintain and protect a marine sanctuary even without compensation to the expatriate investor who has learned to live and love the province and its people and does philanthropic work ), their yearnings, hopes, dreams and aspirations. I'd rather not say what they say because it's up to you to find out for yourselves.

Yes, it cannot be denied that corruption exists in politics, but are they really the source or proginators of corruption? Or are we the reason why they have become corrupt. Whether we like it or not, good guys generally don't make good leaders but seemingly, the bad ones often do better... Eventually, it's just a matter of choosing the lesser evil or greater good (between the Devil and the deep, blue sea so to speak)...

Ang Ceres wal makasulod kay gi petitionan sa atoang mga bus operators dinhi sa Bohol (Just like why SM and the Gaisano Chain wala makasulod dire sa atoa, and we know who are the people behind this) pero naay mga negotiations nga gipang himo lay aron kon ma tuokod na ang Cebu-Bohol Friendship Bridge og ang Bohol-Leyte Bridge makasulod na silag balik.

Naa pay daghang kabaw oist! Amoang mga saop naay between 3-4 carabaos per family. Additional proof to that is the chocolate cake (tae sa kabaw nga nag proliferate sa karsada particularly sa mga interior municipalities nga naay national highways.

And that's because of a large fishing vessel operator who is monopolizing the fish prices in the province. It's way much cheaper to buy in Pasil, Cebu. As for Darayski, the dolphins and whales have been in Bohol for a long time already, way even before your youth, ang diprensya lang kay sa una karnehaon karon protektaan na kay tourism asset na ni siya nato kay ari ra sa Bohol ang biggest concentration sa diversity sa species sa Marine Mammals dinhi sa Bohol, imagine it's only in Bohol that 75% of the different known species have been spotted and identified.

As for the "gahong", it is highly discouraged nga magbuho lang or magpabuhagay bisag asa kay tungod sa atoang klase sa yuta dinhi nga ginganlag karst. We have to protect our water resources unya dali r akaayo mo seep sa atoang water table ang mga pollutants, contaminants wether biological or industrial. So maka ingon ta nga naay daghan changes dinhi sa Bohol nga for the good of the Boholanos pa...

I think the guard was referring to "Gate Toll Fee". A term that the locals use. But it does rhyme or sound like 'Gator fee". These usually range from P5-25 in smaller least known resorts. Bohol Beach Club Charges P250 but it comes with a Coke and a Hamburger sandwich. Other bigger more prominent resorts may charge higher but again, it usually comes with a treat or souvenir or something. The amounts mentioned in the article are preposterous!  It can only mean a few things, maybe it was a communication problem, or either the guard was trying to make a "fast-buck" or a "killing" (sorry for the morbidity), or there is something else that this writer is not telling (maybe they wanted something but did not get what they wanted) so to come at us, wrote this very vendictive article. Gaduda ko anig taga laing resort ni outside Bohol unya mag spread dayon og "blasphemous rumours' aron madaut ta. The price of fame I might say.

Oist! nalimtan nakos GLACE. Most of the customers are Koreans and Taiwanese, some Middle Easterns and a few Japanese. Diha pa gani makalingaw kaayo nga pang hitabo when one of these light planes had a crash landing at the Tagbilaran Airport. Rare kaayo ning nga ing-aning panghitabo sa atoa. Sa dihang nahitabo ang maong crash landing, ang designated driver sa Rescue Team mi response kunohay dayon, so misutoy siya with the rescue vehicle to respond. Maybe due to his excitement or simpleng pagka-ratol ba kaha niya, wala na siya mag tan-aw or nag check kon naka sakay naba ang ubang members sa rescue team.  Pag abot sa driver ngadto sa na-momo (literally) nga eroplano natingala siyang nganong walay nitabang niya sa fire fighting equiptment. Pastilan! The guy became the butt of jokes for quite some time at the airport. ;D

BAI BENE! Yes, Paolo diay tuod iya ngalan. If he intends to come back and still enroll in HNU then he is automatically with the HNU tem because I recall that Parts is intent on keeping him with the team. A few days ago we had an election of officers in preparation of creating a registered and sanctioned organization devoted to football in order to have a recognized identity. Sooner or later we will be making preparations for creating by-laws and regulations as these are requirements of the SEC even if it's a none-profit organization.

Increasing the bandwidth was done but is still not enough, that,s why the largest call center now operating here in the city can only accommodate a maximum of 40 agents while others are have fewer. To be able to match demands in relation to our neighboring provinces who got a headstart, an FOC backbone has to be in place (which also can serve the purpose of signal redundancy). GLOBE and SMART are working together on this, for economical reasons (why have separate diggings when the two can share in the conduit). Other independent Cable-TV providers can also benefit from this infrastructure. And maybe even the power providers, if the plans of placing the wires underground instead of the traditional above-ground is feasible.

As to those of us who like to wallow in pessimism, yes corruption cannot be avoided. The question is what have we done about it? What steps have we contributed against it? Or we'll just go about enjoying criticizing. It's your call, shall we become "Ranting Swedes"or "Agents of Change"?...

That's why Danao is one of the pilot areas because the locality has realized the important points you have mentioned. LGU-Danao is bent on capitalizing or riding on the eco-tourism niche. They have realized that in order to sustain their livelihood, they have not only to replenish what they have taken but also improve/enhance it. Application of ANR will depend on what a particular locality wants, is it for the sustainability of a source of livelihood, is it for improvement expansion of a watershed, is it for prevention/stoppage of further soil erosion or is ti to bring back the bio-diversity of the area. One or two or more of these might be the objective or maybe even all of it. One thing remains, it's a lot cheaper that having to procure new stocks or varities.

Bai ZecurB,

Thanks for this feedback. My son will not be enrolling at HNU in the next school year, but in an acceleration school where the instruction is modular and individualized. He is presently with me in Japan, but will be back there in the first half of June. I have mentioned you to him as a way of motivating him to work harder on his studies. By the way, I have had a chance to talk with Parts about two times during my short visit to Tagbilaran last year. I donated the team's uniform last year. I really hope we could strengthen Tagbilaran's soccer and work towards finding sponsors for competitions. I would like my son to be part of a group that is into sports and civic activities, kay ug wala na'y soccer diha ra pud na sa sud sa balay.

Kinsa man diay tong team nakadaug bag-o lang sa Cebu, di ba Bohol man pud to?

HOLY SHHMOKOY BAI BENN! If that photo is a photo of your kid then I know him! I've seen him in action and he can hold his own on the field, a big boy, with regular and serious training he can be quite an asset for Bohol or any team he'd like to be in.

With regards as to what will happen to the present airport if the one in Panglao will be operational, yes, it will be converted into a commercial area, and if talks push thru, an export zone and if the FOC infrastructure is stabilized and established, it  can also be an ideal site for an ICT village. Furthermore, height restrictions for buildings within the city can finally lifted so high rise structures can flourish...

BAI Benn, actually I send my articles to all the local outfits, so it's the editors call if they will publish it. Of course we can accommodate your son. Our group has been regularly holding tournaments for kids from ages 7-14 in specific age groups. We do this 2 or 3 times a year, depending on the availability of funding from sponsors. Our groups thrust is to develop grassroots football, develop them while their young. Our own little way also of helping these kids to veer away from illegal drugs and crime by keeping them busy playing. We already held one early part this year, then there was a PSC-sponsored Childrens Community Games of which soccer was one of the events included. The next one is sometime this October, it's sponsored by a gubernatorial hopeful. If your son is studying at HNU, just let him approach "Parts Angalot", he is the coach for football @ HNU High in Janssen Heights. Actually, there are teenagers who are playing with us every afternoon at the grandstand. Our group is still in the process of creating a strong Football Association in the Province so that we can tap the assistances that PFA can provide.
