No...I am not righteous.
I am far from being righteous. I am a sinner.
There is no righteous before the Eyes of the Lord God.
For all have have sinned before The Lord God.(Romans 3;23)
We are all the same, cecil.
Sinners ta tanan.
Quote from: Lorenzo on March 10, 2010, 01:10:34 PMmaybe..but i dont how it feels...
Spiritual Feeling lang.
Don't you ever have that feeling that you have been touched by the Holy Spirit when you talk about GOD.
It's an amazing feeling..
Quote from: Lorenzo on March 10, 2010, 01:08:55 PMsame here!!!!youre so righteous..
Too much for me, I think. It was too much weight for me to bear.
Because I want to be an earthly father, and to love. To have children.
I had to discern thoroughly. As I did attend multiple Catholic Gentlemen's Retreats.
I even asked the Bishop of the Couty of Erie, Pennsylvania (the region where I went to college), to pray for me and to give me strength. His name was Bishop Donald Trautman.
The Priesthood is Total Sacrifice. Something that was just, in the end, too much weight for me to bear.
As is said: Many are called. But only few will answer.
God Bless all priests....for they are indeed...super human. IN mind and in body.
Quote from: Lorenzo on March 10, 2010, 01:05:30 PMhuh??what do you mean???

I felt the Holy Spirit touch me. Right now.

Hahahahaha! You know, Cecil, there was a time in my life that I considered priesthood.
3 years ago. Pero I realize that God was leading me to a direction to something else.
Even if Royal Priesthood was not for me, at least, I could offer to HIM, a role a life in the laity.
Took a long time to discern the calling. And what He really wanted for me.

Good point.
Pero mao na i implement ang institution of fine education, and religious studies, and family orientation to facilitate and supplement proper well being and proper raising of children. Considering the negative effects/negative influences of today's society on children.
It is still the Family and the Household that is the sepository of customs, manners, faith/religion, that will provide the foundation for the stratification of education through the years.
The wife should help and complement me in raising our children. To Love and Fear the Lord God.
Above all things jyud. To Fear The LORD.

Education.
It is the only thing that no one can take from us.
One can loose a house, loose money, loose a car.
But education is not something that can be taken away like any other material object.
Thus making the role of the Educator ~~ priceless.

My father said to me sa unang panahon.
"Search your feelings appropriately. Make sure that what you feel for a woman is LOVE and NOT lust."
Do not lust over a woman. Most of all do not mistaken lust for love.
So ang message to all:
Don't mistaken lust for Love.
As they are NOT thesame.
Quote from: Lorenzo on March 10, 2010, 12:01:39 PMoooppsss...sorry..i did not check your profile yet...let me check..

My profile states it.
Yes my parents are not only involved in family but in Faith-Matters.
Core to their raising us children is this: FEAR THE LORD YOUR GOD.
That is one thing my father always stressed us. TO FEAR AND LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD.
And he is right. Because the Cement of True Love is the Lord God in Heaven.

Dearest Lola Nating,
Lola, we do truly miss you. Your nephew Andre looks so much to your pictures and asks us, "Kuya who is this woman who looks very Chinese?" and I must reply, "Andre, that is your Lola Nating. And yes, she was Chinese! Her family came from Guangzhou, China before they immigrated to Philippines."
Lola, your nephew looks most like you. Ininsik kaayo iyang beauty. How he adores you and asks questions about you all the time. How I wish you were still alive so he could see you and talk to you face to face and talk to him still.
Lola, kaibao ka..hilig kaayo si Andre mo use ang chopstick ug hilig mo kaon sa noodles ug sabaw. Mo joke joke pood ko, "Andre you eat like you're Chinese! hehehe" And he smiles pood. He is learning raba some Cantonese words.
Sige, Lola. I miss you. We miss you.
I wanted to tell you this. So I wrote it in a letter na lang.

The name's Lorenzo.
Pleasure to meet you, Cecil.
Quote from: Lorenzo on March 10, 2010, 11:41:55 AMooohhhh.....how sweet...how i wish i will have the same love story of your parents....
My father does believe in first sight love kono.
He said one time that the first time he saw my mom, they were both classmates in an elective class sa college: Jose P. Rizal Class.
My father said kono that he "fell in love with the Beautiful Chinese Filipina"---referring to my mother.
He tells us that the first time he laid his eyes on mom, he knew that she would be his wife and the mother of his children.
26 years later. And 4 children later. It is so. ha ha ha ha.
The two of them are crazy in love for each other tho. Mo argue pero they are still in love with each other.
Sometimes, I catch them when they are not looking...seeing them holding hands and looking at each other.
Cute.
Quote from: Lorenzo on March 10, 2010, 11:38:24 AMabsolutely true...but the woman you are talking about is one of those endangered species nowadays...
I agree with you. Sight only refers to our impression on the person's physical beauty. Not their inner/spiritual beauty.
A person can be beautiful outside, but ugly/wicked inside. And if we are very lucky, a woman can be beautiful both in and out.
What a blessing!

Quote from: Michael Ligalig on February 15, 2010, 09:45:47 AMbut karon.,...last valentines..naa nay pakapin nga condom ang flowers..nsa na d i ang meaning sa valentines?
When people think about Valentine's Day today, they most likely imagine small cards that convey the warmest feelings of love, focused on the positive aspects of this strong human emotion. But historians argue that people living in Ancient Rome were not as likely to focus on the same aspects. Conversely, they were highly likely to bring out the negative, painful aspects of love in the letters they sent to their loved ones, LiveScience reports. There was no Valentine's Day in the sense we understand it today, but men sent love letters to women, usually married, as well as to other men, on occasions.
Flattery and gratitude were among the last feelings on Roman men's minds when it came to things they thought about writing in their letters. “Unlike what you see in contemporary stores where we have valentines that are all clouds and dreamy and romantic, the Romans had a very different kind of take on love. It's not something that is a good feeling usually; it's something that torments you,†says Hamilton College professor of classics Barbara Gold. She bases her statements on analyses she conducted on old love poems dating back to between the first century BC and the first century AD.
Most of these writings argued that love is an emotion that makes the writer “see double,†and swells up his tongue. They also called love a plague. “You would never go out today and find a valentine that says 'You're like a plague, you set my bone marrow on fire',†Gold adds. These differences are caused by the way in which modern and ancient people looked at love. In Ancient Rome, men or women were rarely expected to love their spouses. “Marriages were arranged, and all about wealth and status and power and keeping the family line going. There never would have been a marriage for the Romans that was based on any kind of [other] attraction,†the expert writes. - source: softpedia.com

One thing I can't resist in a woman:
1) Intellect--if she is smarter than me or if she outscores me--ah, then I will chase her.
2) Kissable lips. Self explanatory
3) Open mindedness. More of a reason to increase the chase. haha

Distance is not the end of the world in a relationship
Distance cannot, and will not hurt a bond between two people that is based on mutual respect, trust, commitment, and love.
Although you may feel like you are losing faith in your relationship at times, hold fast and trust your heart!
Truly believe that love & relationships are what make your life special, and that ones built on love & understanding are always worth preserving, regardless of the miles that may separate two people
