If you don't like this celebrity, then don't watch his show.

It is not good to oust a celebrity because if the show will be stopped for this reason, many people will be deprived of their rights to watch their favourite TV personality.

So let the ratings decide.

Kanang Geronimo gi gamit na sa world War II nga code para sa airborne invasion in honor of the famous Navajo Indian Chief..

Naay murag asians, europeans, blacks...etc.

Sila ang unang mi settle sa Easter Island which also belongs to Chille Territory.

Kining akong istorya, wala ni mahitabo sa hundreds of years, kondi 25,000 years since man walk from its origin in Central Africa.

We just finished a 2.50 miles roadway project with 3 bridges on it here in our county. The project location is in a flood plain with drainage area of 502 square miles. The 3 bridges are located within the length of the roadway as per the hydraulic study to exceed 100 year storm event. The total length of the bridge is 1320 feet with 120 feet main span over the river. Also the bridge structures are set on metal piles with precast concrete beams. And the total cost of the project is $7M.

I think both projects (airport and bridge) have their own benefits as well as advantages and disadvantages.

For me, why not build the two projects together. Lol  :)

Kuyaw gyud ning mga sons of Bohol like you bay Bobby.

Who's Who or Movers and Shakers of Tubag Bohol".

Bitaw ang angay nga title sa imong write-up bay is "From tricycle driver to bridge builder in the US".

Makailad lagi kay humot kaayo unya pula-pula, gi coloran diay to. Pero inig kaon nimo maka pangag. ;p

Maayo pa ato ning i-privitize nga tulay, pareha sa stock market nga ibaligya by shares.

Cost of bridge = 90 Billion
Cebu population (3.5 million) & Bohol poplulation (1.3 million) = 4.8 million total
90 B divided by 4.8 million = P18,750 ang tampo kada tao.

Kung ang plete sa SuperCat tag P1,000 back and forth Tagbilaran-Cebu, mo biyahe ka ug 1 time per month for 3 years and 1 month para mo gasto ug P18,500. Naa pay sobra nga P250 pang snacks.

What I mean nga ang P18,750 is 3 years nimo magamit kung mag SuperCat ka kada buwan. Compared to bridge nga anytime puede ka mo adto sa Cebu for a lifetime.

Makasapi na pod si FG ani.

I can not remove the 90Billion pesos out from my mind and kept wondering "it would take 90 Billionaires like Manny Villar to complete this bridge".

Assuming 2% will go to corruption as incentive or bribe, then someone will become richer than Manny Villar before the construction starts.

Ha ha, yes. Let's just be sure that we're not wearing wings made of wax...

Mura diay ug si Icarus among leksyon sa elementary.

But this bridge is more than flying without wings. Una, kinsa man uroy mopahuwam nato ug dakong kantidad para ani. Kung mahibaw-an nga 90 Km ang bridge, mo ingon na lang ang world bank nga "so you are trying to break the world record".

Sa akong gikasulti, this is too ambitious to be true. Matinood lang ni kung mahimo ta nga one of the State sa US.

Bella,

Christian : Believe that Jesus died on the cross for our salvation and to follow his deeds & teachings.

Muslim: Believe in one God which is the God of Abraham & practice the 5 pillars. Murag pareha ni sila sa Christians, ang naka deperensya si Jesus is only a prophet and not the Son of God.

Jews: Believe in the Prophets of God like Abraham, Moses, David...etc. Pero dili ni sila motoo ni Jesus.

Hindu : Live ethically with all creatures so you will stop reincarnating when you die and live in Peace with the universe.

So for me as Christian, wala koy katungod nga mo judge sa uban nga religion nga sayop sila. Likewise, wala pod silay katungod nga mo ingon nga sayop ang akong religion.

18 kms daw.

Dili lang 18 Kilometers ang length sa Bridge kon di 90 Kilometers as I estimated ug 20 B Pesos ang initial pa lang nga estimated cost. Asa man ta kuha ani nga funds. Naa kahay mag pahulam nato nga banko ani nga kantidara nga mismo ang World Bank wala namay salig sa administration?

Mao ni ang link: http://www.sunstar.com.ph/cebu/cebu-bohol-bridge-track-3m-fund-study

Kung mao, this is too ambitious to be real. Ang longest proposed bridge karon is the Bahrain - Qatar Friendship bridge which is only 40Kms long and costs $4B = 180B Pesos which includes the cost of Railway facility. Maayo man ni sila kay dato man ni nga countries. Kita pobre man.

http://www.microsoft.com/casestudies/Case_Study_Detail.aspx?casestudyid=4000004347

Presently, the longest existing bridge is the Ningbo - Shanghai bridge which is 35.4 Kms. So, kung mao kita ang mahimong world record.

Mo too ko ani nga theory.

Pero ang the best cure sa depression is walking outdoors, wearing a big smile in your face and greeting people you meet. The best time to do this is morning before 9 am or afternoon after 4 pm. :)

It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

Tungod sa nagkalain-lain nga religion, dunay war. Mao ni ang reality.

Personally, I don't blame religion, but I blame people who do not respect other peoples culture and religion.

Bolingit,

Luzon was named after King Luisong which was then ruled by most of his Raja grandsons.

Srivijayan history is very broad and mostly unwritten. It dates back during the foundation of the pyramids in Egypt. Proof of this is when archeologists found evidence of indigenous spices found only in Southeast Asia such as cinamon and cloves scattered among the relics. Also there were bones of Southeast Asian chicken found in some Egyptian tomb.

When the Europeans came, we were already civilized with our own writing system and complex form of government which extended from Indonesia to southern part of Thailand, most of it Sea based. Because 70% of Srivijayan Empire consist of Sea, we were known to be masters of navigation.

To answer your question Bolingitboy, Srivijayans were originally Hindus and Animist. After the great war of the Maharlikas which originated in Boneo, there were factions created among the Datus and Rajas. The conflict was all about who shall control the spice trade.

Some of the Datus who were already converted to Islam (due influence of Arab spice Traders) round themselves to form a faction and this group were supported by the Dutch, if I am not mistaken (I have yet to review my ancient history research). From that time, there were inter-island raids from among waring factions.

To learn more about this, just google this tag "Ancient Kingdom Shrivijayan" kay gi kapoy nako og type.

So kini nga project is too ambitious and extravagant to benefit  two small island.

Siguro mo dagan ni ug minimum 50 years una ma break-even ang gasto.

Mao ni ang break-down sa 50 years para ma break-even:
90B divided by 50 years = 1.8B per year
1.8B divided by 12 = 150M month
150M divided by 30 = 5M per day

Ibutang ta P200 ang toll fee: So 5M divided by 200 = 25,000 trucks ang kinahanglan nga mo dagan ani kada adlaw.

Considering benefit to the general public:

Mga 60% sa materials nga gamiton ani is metal, which is subject to corrossion.

Ang Airport, kung dili mahuman, puede himoon ug kalsada or business center or buwaran ug humay.

i cant blame you Macky. honestly i only have seen that with Filipinos.

Sakto gyud ka Bella. Na under man gyud ta sa mga Japanese for short period; unfortunately, wala nato ma adopt ang ilang mga renowned values such as discipline, self-control and word of honor.

#142
Thanks for your views Pressy.

Indeed, this will reflect negatively to every Boholano. It only shows the lack of discipline and neglecting simple rules, which collectively will lead to a dissaster.

From what I've read here, the crowd is acting like panicked chicken and uncivilized.

Violating simple rules such as gate crushing or overtaking a que is small-time corruption.

Last week, I was paying my children's tuition fee when one lady overtaked me in the que. I was very furious that I loudly told "Kaya walang asenso ang Pilipinas dahil may mga taong kulang sa disiplina", then she can not look at me straight.

So, lets face our limitations.

1. Ironman Triathlon competition
2. Mountain Bike competition
3. Jet Ski racing
4. Sky diving
5. Unsa pa? Mangawt sa ko sa akong ulo.

I believe it is her way of being unique to be recognized. Anyway, she is raised in Saudi Arabia.

Telling the whole world that she is a Filipina is already a fact we should be proud of.

Perhaps she have deep reasons why she did not represent the Philippines. Maybe the Philippine team did not include her as among them, so she goes on her own. Perhaps she wants to represent people who are deprived of musical freedom like Saudi Arabia due to strict Islamic Law.

So, just watch Kimverlie in coming shows of ABS-CBN's ASAP.

I still believe the SEC is the right agency to resolve this issue.

Lets put it this way, even raffle draws of Alturas are being supervised by the SEC. The winners are reported to the SEC with their ticket numbers, Identification Cards and Photographs. This is to prevent scams and inside jobs.

In the case of TBTK, the hand over of prize was disputed, then SEC must intervene. No matter how small the establishment is, as long as it is registered, the SEC will investigate specially that there is now a whistle blower.
#148
As we all know, TBTK is registered under SEC.

Since this is a legal issue (involving cash / prizes), my suggestion to the aggrieved party is to bring this case to the SEC and let them handle the case legally rather than whining around making media circus without results.

Thus, responsible officers can be investigated by proper authority which is the SEC.

As a spectator, this issue is more intriguing & entertaining than the pageant show. This means local showbiz in Bohol is evolving. :)

Wa may lubi diri. Sobra pay ginuka lagi niya.

Cel, have faith.

Please reflect on below passages.

"And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick, and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well." (Matthew 14:35)

Good luck Pressy. No one is holding you back.

The key ingredient in journalism is determination, courage, influence, truth, independence and of course nasty sometimes, hehehe. To catch peoples attention, you have to be unique and innovative. I think you have these qualities Pressy.

To be successful you should not allow people to use your leverage for thier favor.

This game is not for one with cold feet.

July 27, 2009, 01:57:38 AM
Thanks again Pressy for the good thoughts. I say I agree with your facts. Everything you said is absolutely true. Reality hurts, but one must swallow the bitter pill to get cured.

Our society are full of people with crab mentality specially around the political arena. Instead of helping each other for progress, everything will go against each other like cats and dogs. What one say is wrong to the other even if it is right. They want to be served instead of serving. You can hardly find them when you need them, but during election they showed thier big smiles, big drama and big bucks.

Don't worry about me Pressy because I have sportsmanship not like our politicians who have this "I am always right" syndrome. That anything his oponent says is against him. They can not find anyone else to victimize but their co-countrymen.

Regarding the cheap labor, it is just a chain reaction of Poverty. If Companies who enjoy cheap labor in the Philippines, due to poverty, why should they be interested to make the Philippines rich when they will no longer enjoy cheap labor then.

I am also for change Pressy, but as I said, now is not the right time. Before you build a new house, you must make sure no pests are living around your land.

Perhaps I say many good people find it going overseas as a way to escape frustration & dismay. But I know they will come back soon.

In a corrupt world, there is no respect, no word of honor, no ethics. People who are in power is above the law and Regulations can be violated. I am sorry to say that at this point, selling lands to foreigners at 100% ownership is still the most dangerous option to solve poverty. It is like a single spark that could put the whole house ablaze.

Don't worry Pressy and just be patient. It is just a matter of time when Filipinos will say I am ready for globalization and lands can be sold to foreigners. Now is just not the ripe time. But I have faith in our few good who will someday prevail and restore ethics.

Once again Pressy, I enjoyed sharing thoughts with an intellectual like you. Peace and keep on.

Mackey I hear you but the blood of your heroes is not putting food on the tables and providing jobs right now is it?

Philippines needs to get out and be with the rest of the world this country is no better or worse then those countries who have taken chances.

What capitol? I see many Philippines persons borrowing  anything from monies to expensive things all the while they are using a Guchi purse and wearing gold around they're necks and fingers.

I have had to two text messages from foreigner friends that they both in one days time were asked money to borrow by 4 persons.

Who said your rights will be taken away or is that just a Filipino negative thinking?

I say let the foreigners in and let them create jobs. Do you think that people living in America have rights to all the property and land?

No we do not and do you see us whining about no trespassing?

Tell me about no trespassing on the beaches I find it rather disgusting to be walking along the shores to find a crapped in diaper laying near to the surf.

Mackey it time for the Philippine people to take chances for becoming better you do not know what will happen unless you do not learn from your new trialed accidents.
Quote from: thegirlnextdoor on July 26, 2009, 02:39:36 AM
Mackey one more thing.....

I do not see those Filipino OFWs complainingabout those things you mentioned when abroad in other countries?

Why do you think they are working there to begin with? It is because of the big companies and private companies providing those many good paying jobs that are not happening here!

Seems like this is another scenario of its not up to our standards to do that but we will allow it and replenish in it if it is not in our own back yard.

Farmers will always have jobs look at the machinery that has modernized farming in America. At present it is expensive here in the Philippines is not that not enough damage in its own people and mostley for those who are poor and trying to survive.

Sure Catholics are against abortion but to have one killed is cheap here.

To see a homeless needy sick child dressed to the bare rags is not against the Catholics Jeezes I get so confused here at times.

Gloria needs to end her term gracefully and things need to get done and I am talking a major house cleaning here.

You know it and I know it!

Hi Pressy,

You have a good point there and I respect your opinion.

Huge Multinational Companies are here decades ago, but did it make the Philippines richer? In 1974, I remembered the Dollar is 7 against the Peso. Now, with more international companies coming in, it is 45?

The only difference with charter change is they can legally own 100% of the property which they virtually own under fictitious names or under names of influential people.

If the present bulk of international companies could not solve our poverty, then what difference would it make if they own 100% of the property or land.

Companies comes here in the Philippines only for one thing, which is cheap labor.

Lets face the truth, Filipinos are not financially literate and we tend to be 1 day millionaires. Only very few are skilled to handle business and experienced to manage a big corporation. In a year, we will be outwitted by other nationalities and in the long run, majority will end up as PAs.

I have foreseen the negative effects of this change to be chaotic that another Robert Mugabe will rise from among us.

As one of the OFWs we endure the pains along our journey, but seeing our country dominated by foreign hands is unbearable.

So, if I am to decide, it is not worth the risk to play with chances if the effects are irreversible.

Pressy, I praise your optimism for positive change. However, with a corrupt administration, it will only fuel their lust.

So, let us first clean/arrange the house before fitting in new furnitures.

Sierra Bullones: Sierra means Mountains, Bullones means Beads or studs. Literally means Mountain that looks like Beads or Studs. Maybe the Spanish named this town after Chocolate Hills who looks like beads or studs.

So the Key word of this Town is Bullones. So this proves that Butron and Butcon surnames who started with letter "B" are original inhabitants of Bullones.

General Topic / Re: Sugarol
July 25, 2009, 07:00:59 AM
Ang opposite sa 'Sugarol' is 'Sigurista'.

Ang pagka sugarol is not only refering to money. Puede sab opportunity, time, word, honor, basta anything nga duna kay mawala or ma gain sa imong action.

Time: Puede ka mag tinapulan karon ug imong isugal imong future thinking or hoping nga madato ka next year.

Word: Puede sab imong isugal imong word like mag promise ka, hoping nga matinood imong mga predictions.

Honor: Kung imong isugal ang imong pagka ta-o, ang mawala nimo is Honor,  reputation & dignity.

I think being a Sugarol is not only playing money, but more on "Make believe" or delusions that what they think will surely happen in future.

So ang professional nga sugarol is the one who always have "Plan B" incase "Plan A" fails.

Pressy, you are no foreigner, but a Boholana. Your deeds speaks for itself and you even spent more time in Bohol than I do.

What is dangerous here are big corporations buying Lands; thus displacing huge crowd and then they will put in their gate "No Tresspassing". Its a big insult that Filipinos can no longer roam around in thier own land. If that happens, beaches will be closed, farmers will no longer have rights. The country will be mandated by big foreign corporations and we who lack capitals will simply be outnumbered and I'm afraid become slaves inside our own nation.

It is ignoring the blood of our heroes who set us free from colonial hands.

What is the Order of Sikatuna

Source: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Order of Sikatuna is the national order of diplomatic merit of the Republic of the Philippines. It is conferred upon individuals who have rendered exceptional and meritorious services to the Republic of the Philippines, upon diplomats, officials and nationals of foreign states who have rendered conspicuous services in fostering, developing and strengthening relations between their country and the Philippines, or upon personnel of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), both in the Home Office and in the Foreign Service.

The Order of Sikatuna may be awarded by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs in the name and by authority of the President.

History

In the Quirino order, the Order of Sikatuna commemorates the pacto de sangre or blood compact, more popularly known as sandugo. This was, according to the Executive Order, the first international treaty of friendship between Bohol native chieftain, Datu Sikatuna and Spanish conquistador Miguel López de Legazpi, between a Filipino and Spaniard. [1] Lately, however, the Executive Order's premise has been put to question. The event was not the first blood compact since this happened 44 years before between Ferdinand Magellan, representing the Spanish crown, and raia Siaiu, king of the island-port of Mazaua. Magellan called the ceremony "casi casi", a Malayan term meaning "to be one and the same thing" or to be blood brothers. See http://quod.lib.umich.edu/cgi/t/text/pageviewer-idx?c=philamer;cc=philamer;q1=casi%20casi;rgn=full%20text;idno=ATD7328.0033.001;didno=ATD7328.0033.001;view=image;seq=00000119. Eyewitness Ginés de Mafra described the exact way the blood compact between Magellan and Raia Siaiu was conducted, "On another day, which was the Friday of the cross [Good Friday], the chief of that island came to the ship and convinced Magellan and everybody else and made peace with them according to the custom of the land which is to draw blood from the chests of both men, to toss it into a glass so that the blood unites, to mix it with wine, then for both to drink a half." See http://en.wikipilipinas.org/index.php?title=Talk:Gines_de_Mafra. At the same time the first recorded Treaty of Peace was entered into on Tuesday, April 9, 1521 by datu Humabon of Cebu and Magellan. See Antonio Pigafetta's account in the English translation by James Alexander Robertson, http://quod.lib.umich.edu/cgi/t/text/pageviewer-idx?c=philamer&cc=philamer&idno=afk2830.0001.033&q1=Laghan&frm=frameset&view=image&seq=153.

The Order of Sikatuna was established by President Elpidio Quirino as the "Order of Sikatuna" through Executive Order No. 571 dated February 27, 1953.[2] Its original four-class composition was expanded by Presidents Diosdado Macapagal and Ferdinand E. Marcos. In 2003, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo reformed the Philippine system of orders, medals, and decorations, through Executive Order No. 236, known as the Honors Code of the Philippines which codified the civilian orders, decorations and medals of the Republic of the Philippines. [3] Among its provisions was one renaming the order as simply, "The Order of Sikatuna," and clarifying its protocular standing.

In other readings, I found Rajah Sikatuna's lineage as follows:

The following are some details about the King Luisong Clan:

Rajah Lapulapu - the older brother of Rajah Soliman; he led in Cebu and took the area of Mactan Island.

Cousins of Rajah Soliman and Rajah Lapulapu:
•   Sultan Kiram Sinsuat
•   Sultan Hadji Kiram Misuari
•   Sulu Sulatan Muhammad Badar Un-din

The grandsons of King Luisong :
•   Rajah Sikatuna - ruler of Bohol.
•   Rajah Gat Mauban - the trhird eldest grandson, took eastern part of Quezon, Sampaloc & Lucban.
•   Rajah Enginda - covered the area of Bohol.
•   Rajah Kolambo - ruler of Limasawa.
•   Rajah Lacandula - took over Tondo.
•   Rajah Humabon - the eight grandson, ruler of Limasawa.

MAHARLIKA. Long before the Spaniards came to Philippines shores, the Philippine archipelago consisting of 7,169 islands with an area of 1,049,212,962 nautical square miles, including Guam and Hawaii was known as Maharlika. It was populated by Malays and ruled by the Tagean Tallano clans from the ninth to the fifteenth century. When the Spaniards started ruling the Philippines archipelago, they renamed it Hacienda Filipina.Of the many kingdoms in Asia, Maharlika was one of them under King Luisong Tagean Tallano, the father of Raja Lapu-Lapu and Raja Soliman, the successors of King Marikudo of the Sri Vishayan Empire. Its principal products at that time were peanuts (mani) exported to Mexico and European countries and Herbal plants known as "Nilad" with some medicinal qualities which were exported to Mainland China. With the passage of time, the Chinese traders changed the name Maharlika to Maynilad or Maynila.

Salamat Belle.

I stumbled upon this Knowledgrush website (below link) and noticed that the First Blood Compact did not happen in Bohol.

http://www.knowledgerush.com/kr/encyclopedia/Sultanate_of_Sulu/

Excerpts reads as below:

March 18, 1521 AD - Magellan, including his wife's cousin Duarte Barbosa, cosmographer Andres de San Martin, and Pigafetta landed on an uninhabited island known as Homonhon where friendly natives from neighboring islands brought food and Atuba and together they feasted for one day.

March 24, 1521 - Moving southeast, Magellan weighed anchor for Masawa on Mindanaw Island where Masawa Rajah Kolambu was entertaining his visiting brother, Rajah Siagu of Butuan; The two Rajahs caused the first traditional blood compact of foreign visitors in which the visiting dignitary would drink each other's blood mixed with the native wine, Atuba.

November 21, 1564 - Another Nueva Espana viceroy, Don Luis de Velasco, commissioned 54-year-old Basque adelantado Miguel Lopez deLegaspi, to subjugate Islas Felipinas after five unsuccessful attempts.

1565-1663 Fourth Stage of Moro Wars (Majul)
February 1565 - Legaspi arrived in Samar island on his flagship Capitana piloted by seasoned navigator-priest Andres Urdaneta who was earlier with the 1525 expedition of Fray Garcia Jofre deLoaiza [Crivelli].

As below, Legaspi's blood compact is the second.

April 1565 - Mooring southward to Bohol, Legaspi executed the traditional blood compact with Bohol Rajah Sikatuna and Rajah Sigala to show his sincerity of mission.

May 1565 - Legaspi effected the first Spanish settlement at Cebu with the aid of the two Bohol Rajahs after a brief combat with remnants of the Humabon-Lapulapu warriors that were later incorporated into his mercenary forces.

1568-1648 - The Spanish-Dutch War that started as an internal agitation within the Holy Roman Empire extended to the Far East for the control of the spice trade ending in the Peace of Westphalia in 1648; This war despoiled Portugal of all its East India possessions and severely affected the tranquility of Moroland.

The above link contains very interesting facts I never knew from history classes - Please open and read further.

But here are the chances of becoming one:

Janitor = 1 divided by number of heads required.

President = 1 divided by the number of Citizens ages 40 & above, which is projected to be 23,843,662 in year 2010.

Lorenzo, ang siete viernes nga tuba is sieved or filtered for 7 days until there is no more precipitation which is the by-product of yeast and sugar (as explained by proddi). The remaining liquid is clear pale red in color that contains 10% alcohol with similar taste as white wine. During the Hacienda times, Friday night is usually drinking night because the next day is holiday. So they will consume their tuba usually on Fridays, which is Viernes in Spanish.

Making bahalina is like aging process where the siete viernes is preserved. You can ask Ginger or Kiamoy about this process as they are the authority. What I knew is that the containers should be filled to the brink, not allowing a space of air and then sealed it tightly, thus preventing aerobic bacteria from multiplying that cause acidity. To preserve the color, they will either store it in dark areas or burry it underground for a month or longer. This is what I know.

Sa among leksyon sa Engineering, ang among tawag sa Curve that represents changes in Frequency is called "Baud" which literally means wave in physics. This can also be used in sound or light frequency. I don't know if this word came to the Bisayan vocabulary or is Baud (physics) derived from polynesian/srivijayans who are masters of the waves.

Pina-isan nga bolinao: Broiled Anchovies wrapped in banana leaves.
Binti : Cocktail
Bahal : Cabernet Chauvignon version of coconut wine.

Siete Viernes: This term itself is in Spanish. Class paminawon, but refers to Tuba.
Sinabado: Spanish root word Sabado, But refers to "Ginamos" processing.

Rich kaayo ang atong pinolongan to the extent nga naay ngan sa tanang clase sa Ta-e. Dili na lang nako nganlan dire basin dunay nangaon ug basin kabuhion or bidli-on. Hehehe

My late Aunt Anisia Ferniz Villanueva funded 4 Baptist Chapels, one in Bilar, Sevilla, Mansasa and Dao. After her death, her in-laws continued the mission until to-date. I heard that they opened many chapels in Bohol interior and one of them in Catigbian and Corella.

She found her fortune in land dealings in Kidapawan, Cotabato & Davao. During the 90's I heard that she re-distributed their Rubber & Abacca plantation lands to their tenants and the rest of her money were used to fund the Baptist mission in Bohol.

Moreover Marie, there are two modes of payment from your buyer which is Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) which the buyer should open from their bank or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T). Mostly for small scale export, T/T is used which is usually 50% advance to cover production cost and balance 50% will again be transfered upon receiving of goods by the buyer (this is the usual practice).

For L/C, the bank of the buyer will pay you full amount once the goods will arrive at port of discharge.

Actually Marie, tabla ra ug wala kay puhonan na gi gasto kay in the case of T/T mo advance man ang buyer og 50% bayad which covers your production cost.
