thank you so much for the quick reply sir. the Daquipas, they're from Corella i believe, and my Grandmother, Ceferina Ipong also was from Corella. i was told that my grandfather, Celestino Daquipa, together with his brother Agaton (sons of Atanacio Daquipa) went to Mindanao during the early 1920's (he was around 12 or 14 yrs old at that time). they then decided to start their own families here in Mindanao

I 'm a Daquipa, a physician from Davao City, and i'm very interested in tracing my ancestors. i learned that my ancestors originated from Bohol. can somebody help me in finding the genealogy of my great-grandfather Atanacio Daquipa? my grandmother, an Ipong also came from Bohol. my uncle, who is the current vice-governor of North Cotabato, also an Ipong told me that both the Daquipas and the Ipongs from Mindanao all originated from Bohol.
