Quote from: fdaray on June 01, 2010, 03:38:45 PMthen COMELEC should be stricter in the acceptance of partylist accreditations and recognition...
We can not abolish the party-list because it is already a part of our political system.
Quote from: trademark on June 01, 2010, 03:35:31 PMNice no?...effort should also be a premium not just academic excellence..well we do hope to see a ONE STOP SHOP...for scholarship programs...
There are various private sectors that has long launched their scholarship programs in Bohol. Organizational groups from abroad has scholars in different schools form elementary, highschool and college level. Qualifications not only based on intelligence but dedication and hardwork matters too. Not to mention, family members from abroad also send siblings and relatives to school. Tinabangay Bohol jud ta.

Quote from: trademark on June 01, 2010, 03:27:22 PMsome partylists are really doing their jobs...it's those that are for there simply to have a piece of the money pie that should be screened...gihimo naman nila nga negosyo gud..they invest so many millions (around 10M)to get into governments funds to the tune of 70million a year, besides other perks..
Party list system just pretends to represent some groups of people, yet to me, it's just an easy way to get a position in the government... merely just increasing our gov't budget but really has little impact on the society and in political system in general.

Quote from: benelynne on April 27, 2010, 11:37:21 PMWell, we just have to endure another 3 years of fear, foul environment, rampant gambling, drug use and abuse...with a foul mouthed mayor who talks like christchurch...as a people, this is our fault...di ba? can we do something?... ... We should not take these things sitting down...lend your voice to the masses each time a transgression takes place...
From most livable city in the Philippines, murag mahulog na gyud nga most dreaded city ang Tagbilaran if swertes operators and drug pushers remain under the protective umbrella of the powers-that-be. By chance ra ba nga parehong Blanco ang nasakpan aning illegal activities? Unsa naman ang nahitabo sa unang Blanco nga nadakpan sa swertes? I am sure the mayor, who earlier came to the aid of Manolo Blanco, would cry foul over a supposed politically motivated frameup.

Quote from: wolfpack823 on May 22, 2010, 09:43:16 PMWe'll this happened to me too... but I'm doing it again...pero ako na nagdala...if you're interested in eco-tourism...contact me...
In fact I did. I put up a multi-million (PhP) project, but it was not properly managed. It is hard to let relatives run your investments. Maybe, I was poorly advised when the FS was undertaken. As a result, I lost so much money.
My option is still open, I am interested in eco-tourism maybe in the future when I will retire and personally manage it. Meantime, I am trying my best to provide the kids in my barangay some fun. I sponsor egg hunting during Easter, and Xmas party with games, prizes and gift giving. That means so much to the children in my poor fishing village. Who would care to feed them free? Who would remind them that Xmas is not only for the rich but is also for poor kids like them? Just a day of fun, but memories live forever.
Someone has to do it, I believe.

Quote from: bol-anon nga cebuano on May 18, 2010, 05:33:08 AMNice one...on the local level we have the (CRMP) Coastal Resource Management Plan we need to see a (LRMP) a Land Resource Management Plan, at present we have the zoning plan...we need to see a provincial zoning plan, where the CRMP & local zoning plans should jibe...we have areas w/ mineral deposits and areas for agricultural high value crops, areas for rice & corn, and areas for multiple croppings and areas which can be used for marginal farming such as Palm Oil & Jathropa, the seas thru the CRMP should also be zoned accordingly...certain areas in both land & sea should be designated recreational, other areas reserved for sanctuaries...etc...
i will reach out to all 48 mayors and ask them what are their priority projects. this way, we can see the most and least priorities that we can do for the province. the mayors should give justification why their projects are top priorities. then we will then evaluate sites in the entire province for potential business zones and invite companies to evaluate the area or areas. that way we can bring in more investors that could mean more jobs and more income to the province. let's cut off monopolies and allow others to showcase their companies to the boholanos.
