We are the AMOLONG from Olongapo City. From what we were told, our grandfather NORBERTO AMOLONG JR left bohol and settled in OLOngapo when he was in his teen. We assume that was in the 1910'2-20's. He never talked about his family or relatives until in the 80"S when a brother of his decided to look for him ( I was told they went to census) and located him in Olongapo. I was maybe 8 y.o, i remember meeting them ( them meaning my grandpa's brother and his kids who were supposedly on a family band group). None of my grandpa's 14 kids ever went to Bohol. After that episode in the 80's, we havent heard from any other relatives - my grandpa died 5 years after he saw his brother. So you can see , he resided in olongapo for most of his life (at least 60 years ) before seeing his brother. NOne of us know or remember what town their from - i am just fishing for information. I was told that there Amolong resides in BArangay giw-ang .
