I agree Hofelina, this may take some time, but am sure with the dedication and persistance of Martins friends and family they will eventually get justice. I also read about Evelyn Bohol Davis and will now order the book the mother wrote about her sons murder, that poor woman fought for her sons justice as she always knew in her heart what she believed, it took years of persistance and she ended up paying for a private investigator as she struggled gettting the help she needed from the authorities both in the philippeans and England. The one thing she said at the end was Evelyn took her child away from her and now she was taking her children from her,as she was awarded custody and Evelyn was given 40 years in prison, but at least she still had a part of her son wth her. It probably took till that day before that poor woman could grieve for her murdered son. Thats also something Martins friends and family wont be able to do, until they also get the justice they seek... Keep fighting. x

The wife is a fool to herself, by not answering the questions she makes herself look more guilty, there are certain questions directed to her they are simple with simple answers instead of answering she and her family go on the attack instead. There are also lots of other unanswered questions surrounding this murder i hope for everyones sake not just for family and friends but for the reputation of the island that the authorities ,the ones above the local police realise this and look into the matter further. Fingers crossed for you guys.

JFM,am glad you also noticed one of the things i was refering to when i said abby was incriminating the wife without even realising  she was doing so.. I also thought Gully said he stabbed Martin as he went to the aid of Borja. This case is so flawed and anyone can see this just by readin this blog, it doesnt take a person with a high IQ to realise that.

The bible has a great deal to say about revenge.
The key verse regarding this truth is found in the old testament and is quoted twice in the new testament.
God said-
"It is mine to avenge, i will repay, In due time their foot will slip, their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them."

(And god is on our side.)

BELIEVE THIS QUOTE-ITS VERY TRUE.

Goodness me, this is becoming more like a blast from the past, when i was fighting for justice for my father. Now what i see here are Martins lovely friends and family only wanting to get to the bottom of his murder but also the previous attempts which have to be connected no-one could possibly be that unlucky to have that many attempts on his life, you would have a better chance of winning the lottery. Then you have people like Chona and Ning who are the two people who know what went on and are trying there best to get people off track, but it just isnt working, and they resort to cheap tactics, then theres a friend of the wife, abby who does not want to believe she has any connection, but incriminates her without even realising shes doing it. Just keep fighting, dont let it be the end of the story until you have your justice.

Thanks for your condolances crusaderfreedom, the best advice i can give is -NEVER GIVE UP,, any friends and family wont be able to grieve until the case is solved properly. Reading what thegirlnextdoor says and others, theres so much more to this, but money unfortunatly silences many people. Its human nature to fight for things like this, and i hope and pray you win. x

I never knew Martin, but have been reading this like many others, My American father was murdered some years back now in Manila by his fillipeno wife, but the case was solved and as a family we could  greive as justice was served. At the time of his death many awful things were said by his murderers, trying to justify what had happened to him, like he was a womaniser ect. But at the end of the day he never deserved to die. Whats sinister here is the awful things being said about Martin, and obiviously by people who know him.- think about it- Martin was ment to have been murdered in cold blood by a stranger. so why on earth would anyone who knows him, want to get on this site and say bad things about him, if my worse enemy was murdered i would certainly not say bad things about them in my book it would be a very sad and awful thing to happen to them, they would still of had loved ones devistated by whats happened, even if i had my differences i would not slag them off or his family/friends. The only people who would write such things are the people behind his murder, trying to justify whats happened to him, just like what happened in the case of my father.
