Ubay - Bohol / Re: UBAY CITY?
December 28, 2010, 10:18:40 AM
does it mean na kung may potential masyudad ang usa ka lugar mas adtu ang mga proyekto ibutang? dapat seguro adtu sa mga remote areas para makaapas sila sa development sa well developed nga lungsud di ba? og makabenifits ang mga ultimong tawo. pero whether we like it or not mao na gyud ni palakad sa philippine politics. maaayo untag macheck ni sa bag-o natung presidente.

Ubay - Bohol / Re: UBAY CITY?
December 14, 2010, 09:47:46 PM
If we compare Talibon and Ubay, Talibon is leading to become the next city of Bohol. By location, Talibon is more strategic. And in terms of income it's far advance than Ubay. Indeed, my guests who visited the towns of Bohol truly said that Talibon is like a little city by its appearance and by the the business establishments that are built in this town.

Ubay - Bohol / Re: The Port of Ubay
September 09, 2010, 07:56:59 PM
I think the first picture is the downtown of Talibon not Ubay. It's the road going to the port of Talibon. The building at the left is the Alturas Supermarket.
#7
Unsa na may development niani? Madayon ba ni?
#8

Dauis - Bohol / Re: People of Dauis Speak Differently
December 15, 2009, 07:28:29 PM
Example: Ay asa ba ka, adto kas merkado???
#20
Pls make any comments on the fearless revelation of Talibonspeaks. To the concerned officials please investigate these acts of power-abuse. To the talibongnuns please wake up and seek the truth.

Philippine Business News / Re: Bohol GSIS Scandal
September 22, 2008, 08:39:33 PM
sorry ms da binsi my worst experience was not with GSIS coz i was not a government worker before.  Anyway i agree with you that the title SCANDAL is a lie bec it's not really the proper word. I do appreciate your hardworks during your time in GSIS. I never knew nga manomano pa diay mo on your time. However, I believe GSIS for the moment has adopted the new technology. And i do believe that delays should no longer be an excuse for such new development. I also salute for your valor to uncover those under the table systems in some offices in the city hall and provincial offices. I hope somebody would be courageous enough to stop this very unbecoming practice.
#32
I do agree with you ideas bolingitboy. Bravo!!!!
#33
They should review it over and over again. Normally moreklamo gyud ng mga tawo diha. I would personally say nga sobra na pud oy. Pero if they can promise best services to the people  why not. but we all know nga it's very evident nga wala gyud nabalik sa mga tawo ang ilang mga taxes in form of services and infrastructure.

Talibon - Bohol / Re: hi and hello from talibon bohol
September 14, 2008, 07:23:29 PM

I would honestly say that in some ways i'm very much enjoying my singleness but in some aspects not also. In terms of lingaw2x nindot man ning ulitawo pa ta but in foreseeing the future somewhat scary kay basin nabiyaan na gyud ko sa biyahe. Pero I also realize and ask mysel as to what is the real trip in life. so to console myself my brain is always reasoning and is telling me that life is not only for marriage. heheheh palusot ba para di ingnung matandang binata. Bitaw oy I would agree when you said that things just kinda happen when less expected. who knows in the aparador heheh katawa sa ta kay medyo seryoso na hmmmm.

Asa man sa Canada tong imong colleague? what particular province. Me dia man sa Alberta which is triple the area size of the Phils. Pls pray for me kay as of now i'm still on the process of sourcing ways to get permanent residency papers. Sounds awkward but it's true. we filipinos hardly complain in our work abroad kay we found ourselves well compensated di ba.

thank you for wishing me luck. Ikaw pud good luck ha. I will be proud to see you coming home sa Talibon nga very successful na.

As usual I would still humbly remain in this invisible shield for reasons. but I will make it sure that in my every posting here in tubagbohol you will get some useful clues to identify me para medyo thrilling pud.

maybe the recent administration doesn't see it as of high importance. and maybe the administration does not consider the web as the limelight of media and advertisement. somebody should make them realize. by the way neil if you dont mind, kanang evz sa imong screen name, is it evangelista or evalaroza? but if its confi I would respect if you would not tell me.
#36
i really believe that every boholano politician has his own dream to make Bohol the best province in the phils. but in the long run in his own administration, this dream is shadowed by unintentional interests infavor of himself and for the people behind his candidacy. The unethical traditional politics always prevail because everybody sees it as tolerable. And at the end we are the ones who will suffer as a consequence. Poor Filipinos, we are fried by our own oil. I just hope that we will wake up before it's too late.

Philippine Business News / Re: Bohol GSIS Scandal
September 13, 2008, 06:19:48 PM
Yup I read the article and the reactions that's why I said those things. Sorry if they sound worst. But it's also my experience dealing with those government workers. they complain for those complains from the people. You should know what i mean. and you know what happen instead of helping me they made me wait for 2 hours and told me to come back on the other day where in fact by just a click on their computer what I ask for could had been given right away. i believe they took it personally not professionally.

I also took pitty to those old pensioners. If it's not an honest mistake at the end of GSIS, being a service-oriented agency they should make the first move to help the victim of such mistake. may or it may not be directly their fault all recourse should be done to help the pensioners considering that they are old.

Yes we chose the people in the government. That's why they should prove to us that they are worthy of our votes. Beside we are not sure that those in the government are really justifiably voted bec we all know that politics in the Phils is really dirty.

Complains are always a part in dealing with social services. they must take it in a constructive manner for them to improve their services. And yes i'm awake now. That's why i'm doing this and saying my words to help them realize. Peace!!!!
#38
you're correct bulak. i myself is a living proof bec i am also brought up by a farmer father. Ironic thou bec. we tilled land but we could hardly feed ourselves for a whole year after a harvest. it's not just in agriculture but in almost all of our sectors, government support is really considered endangered. I mean we can hardly find best support from our government to uplift livelihood in rural areas esp on agriculture and fishing. No wonder why hunger is an outbreak throughout our country.

Sem. Joe i appreciate your brotherly pleading to call for unity in the name of love. (by the way are you from IHMS?) I do believe that we Filipinos are loving and very helpful. But sad to say that the sufferings that we have today overlap those values. Many pretend to be loving and helpful as a mask for their own personal interests. Many Filipinos are now blind of the real goodness just to survive. They neglect to examine first the goodness and badness of their acts. what is impt is for their family to survive. In this context i should say that poverty is the real cause of morality blindness of the Filipinos. Although there some factors that should be considered but I do believe that poverty is the root.

Philippine Business News / Re: Bohol GSIS Scandal
September 12, 2008, 06:38:36 PM
knowing our government system,we cannot blame why these people are reacting  on that way.  philippine reality is really full of scandals mao nga gamay nga sayop scandal na. Gituyo man o wala sa GSIS ang nahitabo they cannot blame the complainant for becoming over-reacting kay daghan na baya nahitabo anomaliya sa goberno. For me if  GSIS really wanted to clear everything they should exert effort to satisfy their members. Dapat mamawi na sila if the allegation is false. ang nakalisud kay defensive ra sad kaayo. Og instead of helping them to realize what really happen ipangduot na man hinuon. Government employees are hired to serve not to complain. and they should be trained how to correctly handle complains and act on it right away.
#41
haaay naunsa na man intawn ning atong yutang natawhan oy. I really dont know what should be the saving solution for all our problems. everything is getting complicated. I believe these crimes, corruption, bad politicking and rebellion have just one source and that is poverty. What do you think guys?

Oo nagkaclassmate ta once sa elementary og i guess once pud sa high school. You are awesome jun kay you have improved a lot sa imo communication. Bravo!!!! Kaila man ko ni nino escartin. Correct ka life is ironic and even in reality a mystery kay kung kinsa pa imo gipangita di nimo makit an. pero kung di pangitaon motungha ra heheheh. O kaila jud ko ni Nantek. Di ba seaman naman siya. For sure he has his own hidden reason for calling you in such nickname. Kahibalo naman ka sa Talibon people would call you by any alien name that seemingly resembles a person or even if without relation at all. Me for example has a nickname far from my real name heheheh and the culprit is my uncle (anyway he is my favorite). And he got my name from a radio-drama leading man in his generation. Unsa man imo lingaw diha Jun? And how far have you been working in ME? Thanks for the blessings. Ikaw pud ayoy ayo diha. May God keep you always in his guiding hands.

PLs regards pud ko kang Alleth C. Classmate na sya nko in BTHS. jun asa na man ka karon?
#54
sus pud diay. kung mao nga di makamao tong nipuli nimo, mohire diay na silag unqualified person? Ok giving the chance nga unqualified siya, the administration should send him for seminar or any education to equip him with the skills and knowledge for his position. anyway kung "Pocket First Policy" gyud ang tumanun wala gyuy mahimo. You know what, I should suggest nga ibalik tong local newspaper sa Talibon para mahibaw an sa katawhan tanan nahitabo diha og malikayan (bisan dyutay) ang mga anomaliya sa local government. what do you think Neil?
#55
syempre neil peace gyud ta oy. i'm on your side pre. i'm very impressed on people (like you) who are very expressive with their own ideas. anyway free country man ta bai di ba.

Mo agree gyud ko nga ang atong mga politico are using the expression "ija2x aho2x" in true sense. I'm afraid nga people from other provinces would really see us Boholanos as selfish. di ra ba jud na tinuod.

#56
So angayan jud ta nga manghambog sa atong Bol anong presidente
#57
thanks neil for the info. I'm so sad nga wala nila padayona ang imong gisugdan. You must be given the chance to shine  with your skills and talents kay Talibongnun man ka.   So naa diay 2nd stage pero ngano hangtud karon wla pa man lagi gihapon maayong website ang Talibon. 1st class municipality man kaha ng atong lungsud bisan website nga importante dili sila makahimo?
#58
unlike in other countries, farming is not really a very lucrative livelihood in the philippines especially the low scale farming. no wonder nobody wants to take up any agricultural course. Young generations opt to go abroad via nursing or any related courses bec it will surely give them a big hit if they would succeed. and this is really proven. that's why nursing students are overflowing in colleges and universities. Call center as well is a real opportunity. It shines a promise of erasing the hardships of being a farmer's son.

With this reality, I believe the government should make a way to attract young generations to go for farming instead. Then strict policies against graft and corruption must be reinforced bec. it mainly crippled our agricultural sector. There are a lot of uncultivated lands even in Bohol (esp. in Talibon) because the budget for the Dam went to pockets of unscrupulous politicians.

Philippine is an agricultural country in the first place. It's a slap in our face being an agricultural country but then we run out of rice.

Thanks guys! Sorry i've just read your very warm welcome to me. I really feel at home in this site. Mabuhi ang mga Bol anun!
#63
I'm so sad to know that Michael. But how come that the website of Trinidad is so awesome? Is is not the government who put up their website?
#64
Hellow fellow Talibongnuns!

I'm just wondering why our municipal website is still stagnant until the present time. If tourism is really one of the weapons for our own town development, I believe our website is the best medium for its promotion. Please make it alive again. Renewing it into more attractive, more interactive, informative, and more fascinating would encourage tourists (local & international) to surf it and to visit our town. If you accept my idea, please post lodges and inns, restaurants and bars, supermarkets, banks, transportation facilities and ofcourse the tourist spots in out town like the Double Barrier Reef,Long Beach, the boardwalks, the Garcia park etc, etc.
