The Law Library of Congress Panel Discussion on the 60th Anniversary of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Today, December 10, 2008, the Law Library of Congress will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) with a panel discussion entitled "An Aspirational Illusion or a Blueprint for Continuing Reform?"  This special event, which is presented on this landmark anniversary, provides a unique opportunity to reflect upon a groundbreaking document that was adopted in 1948 by the United Nations General Assembly.
