Maneuver Center Installs New Director; holds Turn-Over of Command Ceremony

Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija – The Maneuver Center (P) recently held the Turn-Over of Command Ceremony on 13 January 2021 at the unit’s activity hall with MGEN CORNELIO H VALENCIA JR PA, Commander, Training and Doctrine Command as the Presiding General Officer.  COLONEL JOSE DODJIE C BELLOGA JR INF (MNSA) PA assumed the directorship of the Center from COLONEL JULIUS A TOMINES INF (MNSA) PA, who already assumed as Commandant of Cadets and Head Tactics Group of the Philippine Military Academy.

 During his tenure, COL TOMINES was able to accomplish significant developments specifically in the enhancement of education and training activities especially during the implementation of new normal procedures in the conduct of career courses and other significant training.  He is instrumental in the successful conduct of a total of 166 programmed career courses for officers and NCOs with a span of seven (7) training cycles as Director, MC.  Additionally, COL TOMINES greatly improved the training and unit facilities in order to provide conducive learning and working environment for both students and organic personnel.

 On the other hand, COL BELLOGA was the Director of TRADOC’s Army Leadership Development and Education Center (ALDEC) prior to his designation as Director, Maneuver Center.

 During his speech, MGEN VALENCIA thanked the outgoing Director for his outstanding accomplishments that benefitted the organization.  He also stressed that the Center must not only focused on teaching the students with ‘maneuver skills’ but more importantly is to instill positive character among them.  MGEN VALENCIA congratulated Team Maneuver Center for the job well done under the leadership of COL TOMINES. However, he also added that he expects more accomplishments from the Center for the year 2021.
