DOT: PBBM TO MAKE MASK-WEARING INDOORS VOLUNTARY
In a press briefing in Malacañang on Tuesday, Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. may issue an executive order making mask-wearing indoors also voluntary.
On September 12, 2022, Marcos Jr. signed an executive order allowing the voluntary wearing of masks outdoors, given that individuals will still observe public health standards amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wearing of face mask is only voluntary in “open spaces and non-crowded outdoor areas with good ventilation,” according to the memorandum. (Photos by KJ Rosales/The Philippine STAR)
