Press Release: 5ID-ON-THE-GO CONTINUES RELIEF OPERATION FOR FLOOD-AFFECTED BARANGAY IN REINA MERCEDES, ISABELA

12 January 2020 - Three hundred thirty three (333) families previously affected by Typhoon Ulysses have benefitted from the relief operation conducted by the 5th CMO "Kabalikat" Battalion, 5th Infantry "Star" Division in Barangay Santiago, Reina Mercedes, Isabela.

"Nakakatuwa na kami ay napabilang sa mga beneficiaries ng relief program mula sa 5ID. Malaking tulong ito sa mga kabarangay namin na hanggang ngayon ay pilit pa ring bumabangon sa epekto ng pandemya at nang nakaraang pagbaha dulot ng bagyo. Kami ay lubos na nagpapasalamat" ayon kay Hon. Angelito Apaga, Barangay Captain of Santiago, Reina Mercedes.

The relief operation was led by 1LT ERWIN M BABAS, CMOBn S3. He said that through the help of various charitable institutions and donors, the 5CMOBn will continue to facilitate relief operations for localities needing assistance.

Donors for this activity include the Solo Parents Association of Cabuyao, DepEd  Cabuyao City, and Architect Melowin Asuncion.

The 5ID-ON-THE-GO is the banner relief assistance program of the 5th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army.
