President Rodrigo Roa Duterte presides over the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) with several Cabinet members to discuss the government’s efforts in mitigating the effects of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the country, as well as the measures to support the sectors that have been mostly affected by the ‘enhanced community quarantine’ in the entire Luzon and other areas.
The President calls on his ‘kababayans’ to continue taking caution, practice social distancing and other necessary measures to avoid contracting the virus. He also asks for continued cooperation and support for the country to overcome the pandemic.
