TWO CARNAPPERS FALL IN PNP BULACAN DRAGNET OPERATIONS
Two (2) motorcycle carjackers died in a police operation at dawn today, November 17, in San Rafael, Bulacan.
A report to PNP Chief, Police General Debold M Sinas from Police Brig Gen Alexander Tagum, Director of PNP Highway Patrol Group said
two (2) unidentified suspects on board a stolen
Yamaha Mio motorcycle were killed after traded gunfire with responding police teams this morning along Bypass Road, Brgy. San Roque.
The report said HPG operatives received a voice alarm from from San Rafael Municipal Police Station about the Carjacking of a Yamaha Mio that happened at 3:00 AM in Brgy. Sampaloc.
Provincial Highway Patrol Team of Bulacan PNP immediately launched an anti-carnapping or dragnet operations within the possible exit and escape routes of suspects.
Police operatives flagged down and directed to stop a motorcycle, which apparently identified as the stolen vehicle. The suspects fired shots against the responding HPG personnel hitting the front bumper of their mobile patrol car, and sped off towards Brgy. San Roque.
The mobile crew was forced to retaliate against armed suspects that resulted in their instantaneous death and the recovery of the stolen motorcycle.
Also, seized from the possession of suspects were two (2) still unknown calibers of handguns. Bulacan PNP has been requested for crime investigation. (PNP-PIO)
