News Release | PBGEN BERNARD M BANAC, Regional Director, Police Regional Office 8 led the Oath Taking ceremony of the 429 Patrolmen/Patrolwomen for CY 2021 Unfilled Attrition Quota Recruitment Program held at the PRO 8 Grandstand, Camp Ruperto K Kangleon, Palo, Leyte today, May 19, 2022.
297 male and 132 female uniformed personnel took their oath as new members of the Philippine National Police.
In attendance were PBGEN JOEL B LIMSON, DRDA; PCOL SALVADOR T ALACYANG, DRDO; PCOL MICHAEL A DAVID, CRS; PLTCOL TEDDY C DAVID, Regional Pastoral Officer; PRO 8 Regional Staff and the families and relatives of the new recruits.
Likewise, also present were the members of the PRO 8 Regional Screening Committee headed by PBGEN LIMSON; PCOL GLENN OLIVER C CINCO, Chief RPRMD; PLTCOL RODOLFO C ALBOTRA, OIC, RID; Atty. Jerico C Ocenar, NAPOLCOM 8; Dr. Ronald B Madera, Academe Representative; Hon. Javier E Zacate, RPOC Representative; and Ms. Leah Rosario Villaflor, Women’s Representative.
The recruits shall be turned over to Regional Training Center 8 to undergo six (6) months of training.
