CASCOLAN NAMES NEW CIVIL SECURITY GROUP DIRECTOR; 4 GENERALS, 2 COLONELS REASSIGNED
More senior police officials were reassigned to posts following the retirement of some police generals occupying key positions in the National Headquarters and Police Regional Offices.
Philippine National Police Chief, Police General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan handpicked Police Major General Israel Ephraim Dickson to lead the PNP Civil Security Group, the PNP unit that regulates ownership, and possession of firearms, explosives, and supervises the operation of private security agencies and
company guard forces.
Dickson replaced PMGen Roberto Fajardo who will retire from police service tomorrow, September 18.
Dickson served as the Director for Integrated Police Operations-Visayas, a post that was taken over by Police Brigadier General Manuel Abu, erstwhile Regional Director of Police Regional Office – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
Police Brigadier General Samuel Rodriguez was reassigned to replace Abu as PNP Regional Director for BARMM.
Rodriguez relinquished his former position as Director, Information Technology Management Service to Police Brigadier General Daniel Mayoni from the Directorate for Police Community Relations.
Police Brigadier General Julius Lagiwid is elevated to a higher
post as Deputy Director for Police Community Relations while Police Colonel Eric Noble is designated DPCR Executive Officer.
All orders of reassignment will take effect tomorrow, September 18, 2020.
