SINAS : CAPIZ 9TH MOST WANTED NABBED IN MANILA
The 9th Most Wanted Person in the province of Capiz was arrested in Manila after nine years of evading the law.
PNP Chief, Police Debold M Sinas announced the arrest of MARVIN SION y ALELIGAY alias Dodong the subject of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Delano F Villaruz, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 16 of Roxas City.
Citing reports from Police Brigadier General Jonel Estomo, Director of the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG), Sion was arrested at 8:45 PM on Friday at Lot 30, Block 8, Zone 78, Balingkit St., Barangay 712, Malate, Manila by AKG operatives from the Luzon Field Unit under Police Colonel Villaflor Bannawagan.
Sinas noted the suspect's long history of evading arrest since his indictment on Homicide charges over the stabbing to death of Rene Estominos on March 6, 2011 in Brgy Nasunogan, Dao, Capiz.
"The proverbial long arm of law will eventually catch up with wanted fugitives from justice, because the law will always prevail," the Chief PNP said.
Sinas has ordered more active Intelligence-driven police operations agsinst wanted persons especially those affiliated with domedtic threat organizations and organized crime groups.
