Teleconference with Keith Krach, Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment
EVENT: The Asia-Pacific Media Hub will host a telephonic briefing on Thursday, August 6 at 7pm Manila (7am Wash DC) with Department of State’s Keith Krach, Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment.
During the call, Under Secretary Krach will discuss new 5G policy developments and upcoming â€Clean Network†initiatives. “Clean Networks†is a comprehensive effort by a coalition of like-minded countries and companies to secure their critical telecommunications, cloud, data analytics, mobile apps, Internet of Things, and 5G technologies from malign actors by relying on only trusted vendors who are not subject to unjust or extra-judicial control by authoritarian governments, such as the Chinese Communist Party. Keith Krach
Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment
Keith Krach took the oath of office as Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment on June 21, 2019.
Previously, he was a businessman and entrepreneur, noted for bringing transformational leadership to many sectors, including factory automation, engineering, commerce, education, philanthropy, and even the way people sign official documents. He is the former CEO and Chairman of DocuSign (2009–2019), which provides electronic signature and digital transaction management solutions to accelerate commerce between companies, while reducing the ecological impact of paper transactions. Mr. Krach led the company through its transformation from a startup to a publicly traded global enterprise with 400 million users in 188 countries.
