MANDATORY FACE SHIELDS, TWO METER PHYSICAL DISTANCING

[Rep. Datol wants Manila example on face masks plus face shields followed by all areas still under GCQ or worse]

Ipatupad na sana ng IATF ang two meters na minimum physical distancing, imbis na one meter lang sa mga palengke, botika, bakery, malls, at iba pang pampublikong lugar.

Tulad ng ginagawa na ngayon sa City of Manila, required na dapat sa lahat na GCQ areas ang face shield bukod pa sa face mask para sa lahat ng tao na lumalabas ng bahay o nasa trabaho. 

One meter is a short distance for any sneeze or cough loaded with coronavirus. Dagdag proteksyon ito para sa ating mga mamamayan dahil ang one meter ay maikling distansya na kapag may taong umubo o bumahing. 

OTHER MEASURES
Iwasan ang close contact sa mga lumalabas ng bahay para magtrabaho dahil maaari nilang madala sa loob ng bahay ang coronavirus. Kung maaari sana, maligo at magpalit ng damit bago pumasok sa bahay ang mga nagmula sa trabaho.

Para sa mga bahay na siksikan o maliit ang espasyo, madalas na paghuhugas ng mga kamay, pagsuot ng face masks at face shields, ang araw-araw na paliligo ang mabisang pag-iwas sa sakit.

Mayors and governors should be supplying their constituents with free and steady supplies of face masks, face shields, and personal hygiene items, lalo na iyong mga mahihirap dahil nga sa wala silang pambili ng mga iyan.

This early, the mayors and governors should already be drawing up plans for how their constituents will be systemically vaccinated in an orderly and safe way.

VACCINATION PLAN
I believe vaccination tents should be set up per street, instead of done by house-to-house. Street by street vaccination can be done safely and well. Pero para sa seniors, dapat puntahan mismo sa bahay para sa bahay bakunahan.

The open air on streets and open fields would be added protection against COVID-19 because it is not a closed or enclosed or semi-enclosed space where contaminated air can circulate.

Hindi na dapat maulit ang kalbaryong dinaanan ng seniors at iba pa nating mamamayan noong unang yugto ng distribution ng SAP cash grants. Hanggang ngayon nga, hindi pa tapos ang DSWD sa SAP distribution lampas tatlong buwan mula ang unang ayudang pinansyal.

Nakikiusap na rin ako ngayon sa DSWD na ihanda na ang distribusyon ng seniors socialized pension na balanse para sa buong taon ng 2020 na hindi pa ibinigay from January to June 2020.

Agosto na po ngayon kaya marapat lamang na ihanda na nila ang balanse ng socialized pension for seniors. (END)
