Philippine Army Alakdan Division receives new mobility assets
The 11th Infantry “Alakdan” Division (11ID) received the second batch of newly-acquired mobility assets that will bolster its operational requirements in a blessing ceremony in Camp Teodulfo Bautista, Jolo, Sulu on June 6, 2022.
The Headquarters Philippine Army issued to 11ID nine Dong Feng medium troop carriers; two units of Sinotruk AS-91 field ambulances; a unit of dental bus; four Dong Feng SS-89 light troop carriers; two units of van ambulance; a Hi-Ace commuter deluxe; nine units of Mitsubishi Strada 4x4 AT pick-up; two units of Mitsubishi Montero 4x4 MT; and five Kawasaki Bajaj 150cc motorcycles.
The delivery of the new mobility assets to the Alakdan Division is part of Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr.’s, thrust to push down much-needed resources to bolster mission-effectiveness of ground forces nationwide.
