Department of Tourism (DOT) Undersecretary Katherine de Castro will keynote the 22nd PAPI National Press slated December 1-3 this year at the Balin, Sambali-Conference facility in Iba, Zambales.

The three-day media convergence has “Towards a Stronger Media and Tourism Partnership for Socio-economic Development” for its theme. USec de Castro takes over from DOT Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo who will be unable to perform the role on the event’s opening day.

The theme highlights the significant role of media-tourism partnership in promoting tourism as a prime mover towards the country’s inclusive growth, former PAPI President Louie Arriola said.

PAPI president Nelson Santos said the other resource speakers and guests for the event include Senator Richard Gordon, Zambales Gov. Amor Deloso and Reps. Cheryl Deloso-Montalla and Jeffrey D. Khonghun, Chinese Counselor Yi “Ethan” Sun, Presidential Spokesman Atty. Harry Roque, Chief Legal Council Sec. Salvador Panelo, PSSUPT. Christopher Mateo of Zambales, Undersecretary Joel Egco, and Iba Mayor Jun Rundstedt Ebdane, among others.

One special highlight of the event is the informal Dinner-Fellowship Socials, reunion of the delegates on Day 2 which has also been designated as The Governor’s Night. Romans 10:9-10
"If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
