LGU Press Release: Ormoc City Mayor Richard l. Gomez, Vice Mayor Leo Carmelo Locsin, Jr., SP Member Lalaine Marcos, SP Member Vince Rama, SP Member Peter Rodriguez, SP Member Gerry Penserga Dr. Edmund Kierulf of the City Health Department, and Antonio Ida, DOH Provincial Health Team Leader of Leyte, witnessed the COVID-19 Inoculation Ceremony at the OSPA-Farmers Medical Clinic which took place, earlier this morning, March 11.
Dr. Larsen C. Omolon, the LGU's consultant for the Covid-19 Task Force, was the first medical personnel to be vaccinted with the Sinovac Vaccine. He is the only Infectious Disease Specialist in Ormoc City.
Furtheremore, Dr. Sandra Angelica Chiong - OSPA FMC Medical Director, Dr. Vicente Rodriguez, Jr. - Board of Directors, Dr. Nicolas P. Aviles - Chief of Clinics, Dr. Rhodette Arevalo - Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine, and Dr. Ferdinand Buot - Chairman of the Department of Surgery were among the medical personnel who were also vaccinated with Sinovac in the said hospital.
