On Monday, December 14, 2020, Presidential Spokesperson Secretary Harry Roque confirmed that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte certified as urgent H.B. 6656 or the bill extending availability of the 2020 General Appropriations Act (GAA) and H.B. 8063 which extends the effectivity of Bayanihan to Recover as One Act or Bayanihan 2.
Extending the availability of the 2020 GAA will allow the government to continue spending the remaining 2020 budget to ensure the continued implementation of projects and programs.
