LTFRB VOWS TO HELP MIMAROPA, ESTABLISHES RFRO IV-B

Press Release: The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) welcomed the nine (9) new personnel of the recently established Regional Franchising and Regulatory Office (RFRO) in Region IV-B during their on-boarding meeting today at the LTFRB Central Office today, 11 March 2021.

LTFRB Chairman Atty. Martin B. Delgra III said the establishment of RFRO IV-B aims to better serve the stakeholders and commuters alike in the region.

“Today is a milestone not only for us, members of the LTFRB, but for the whole transportation institution. To attend to the needs of our stakeholders in MIMAROPA, we realized that we needed to bring the services on the ground. This will not be possible without the support of the national government, our President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, our Department Secretary Arthur P. Tugade. The opening of the LTFRB IV-B is something that we should celebrate greatly,” Chairman Delgra said.

After the on-boarding meeting, the new personnel took their pledge of service in front of the Manpower Committee of the LTFRB.

The new personnel will temporarily take office in RFRO IV-A in Lipa City, Batangas, while the Administrative Division processes the acquisition of their new office in MIMAROPA.

Present during the on-boarding meeting were LTFRB Chairman Martin B. Delgra III, LTFRB Board Member Col. Joel C. Pernito (ret.), LTFRB Executive Director Atty. Armand B. Dioso, Technical Division Chief Joel Bolano, Information Systems Management Division (ISMD) Chief Nida Quibic, Finance and Management Division OIC Melody Luna, Franchise Planning and Monitoring Division (FPMD) Officer-in-charge (OIC) Diosdado Santiago Jr., Administrative Division OIC Edel Brozo, Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program – National Project Management Office (PUVMP-NPMO) Head Engr. Zebonezza Hussain, and Service Contracting Program – Project Implementation Unit Head Joel Bienne Valderrama.
