POLICE RESCUE 2 WOMEN FROM CYBER SEX RING IN PAMPANGA
Two teen-aged women were rescued from a syndicate engaged in online sex shows catering to paying viewers on the internet.
PNP Chief, Police General Debold M Sinas, citing reports from Police Brigadier General Robert T Rodriguez, Director of Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG), said the leading actor in the sex show and his Filipino production crew were arrested in the rescue operation launched by the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit-3 led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Nelvin Ricohermoso at Unit JO3 Kandi Tower, Flora St., Brgy Malabanias, Angeles City at 11:00pm on Tuesday.
"The PNP is going after traffickers who prey on women for sexual exploitation. We urge the public to report to us similar illegal activities for immediate police intervention,” Sinas said.
Arrested in the operation were: EASTON SCOT SANDERSON, 34 years old, American citizen and presently staying at JO3 Kandi Towers, Flora St, Brgy Malabanias, Angeles City; RENEILYN ROBLES, 22 years old and a resident of Lawang Bato, Valenzuela City; JANN ARIELLE MONDEJAR, 23 years old, Brgy Malitlit, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna; and SHIRLEY MARTINEZ, 22 years old and a resident of Brgy Sta Rita, Calbayog City.
Upon debriefing, the victims (names withheld) revealed that Mondejar recruited them for modeling and photo shoot but when they met Sanderson they were force to have sexual intercourse with him while Robles and Martinez took the video and recorded the acts on video for uploading in pornographic sites.
According to the Chief PNP, ACG investigators are coordinating with FBI agents in Manila to identify porn sites where the syndicate uploads sex videos, which can be used as added evidence in prosecution.
Sinas said the arrested suspects will be charged for violation of RA 10364 (Anti-Human Trafficking Act) in relation to Section 6 of RA 10175 ( Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).
