All has been said maau or maut before the election, pro tapos na, so let's move on. Congratulations to our leaders. We may not like some of them, but they are there now, so let it be na lang! Let's trust them and hope they will be true to their promises. MOVE ON BOHOL!   

    yup...hope and pray na lang ta. Wa na tai mahimo except to trust them. kanang 3rd district, daghan na ug kabasakan hinaut mahimong "rice granary" ni sa Pinas  ;D ;D ;D ;D

The best way to be of help is to come up with proposals we could submit to our politicians...I'm already making one...makit-an ra unya ni ninyo...if ila makit-an ni nga maayo...ug ila iimplementar...this is my way of helping...

YUP...rather than rage against the politicians, I think it is best to simply give them directions and projects to accomplish...basin mawani ta in the process mawad-an ta credit for our suggestions...but then we should be ready ourselves for this eventuality, and just be happy that we made them work hard in pursuit of what we had proposed...benefitting each and everyone...

There are two kinds of people daw...THOSE WHO WORK...and THOSE WHO TAKE THE CREDIT...
It is best fro us to be part of those who work...though the rewards may not be earthly...the financial returns could be substantial...well depende na ni sa point of view sa tawo...

as i've said in another thread, i prefer doing background work to prop up an idea worth progressing.

let's exchange notes when you come up with your proposals, especially on the environment and sustainable development areas. my current and previous work experience are on these areas.

i am encouraged with my losing candidate's performance in the elections and if he will still plan to have another go in three year's time i will offer my voluntary service in further strengthening his platform. a fresh face is what we badly need in bohol politics. all the negative campaign issues hurled by the two leading candidates were a result of "in-breeding", to borrow a term most used in the academe. incest would be a rather rude description.

i have already said i give my "critical" support to the new administration. to borrow conrado de quiros' words "... it would be good to have a thorn on the side to afflict the comfortable."

i think we should run for a political position before we judge people. We should have personal interaction with people and talk to those who knew a person personally before making a conclusion. Visit, talk and know Chatto, Montano, and Herrera personally, and  we will know. All of them are good.  none has the right to say they are better than the three. but for sure, chatto is not bad.

i totally agree with ddreamer99....the problem in our province and let's just say entire philippines na lang kay nationwide problem man ni...we blame our politicians of vote buying, corrupt, etc....however, did we ever think that if nobody will sell their votes do you think vote buying will continue??? nganung di man nato balibaran???? don't say " kay dala sa kalisdanan".... kinsa may ma blame nato sa atong pagkapobre or sa atong kalisdanan??? kita  ra sad.... naning kamot ba ta nga mo uma sa atong mga yuta??? naning kamot bata mogamit sa atong kaugalingong natural resources aron ta mo lambo?? wala... kinsa man ang nag pa himolos ana???? ang mga dayohan..... kining problema nato diri ra ni karon ra hing gawas...dili ra ni tungod sa mga politico karon panahon...if you analyze the history of the Philippines...makita nato nga kita ra sad ang naka ingon ani...naa nato tanang batasan...tapulan --maghuwat ra tagaan ..moangay magpakasayun..., crab mentality....., way initiative.....ug uban pang mga batasan nga maoy nakapamaut ug samot sa atong katilingban... kung wala pa ni...di ba diay wamo unta corrupt, vote buying, illegal nga binuhatan......KITANG TANAN MGA CORRUPT...    I also totally agree! However, it takes will power and determination from our people to work on this! Kana ang dakung challenge nato! If we want this....start now! Dili na jud ta magsalig sa atong mga politicians like ask ug funding on uniforms, kalingawan ba diha sa atong baryo. If ask man galing ug funds kay wa jud, go to the right government agencies nga na assign ani dili kay sa kinsa-kinsa na lang politico duolon.    :) ;) :) ;)
