From my sources, it was upon the egging of somebody high up that DA Sec Arthur Yap decided to throw down his political hat on to the 3rd district seat this 2010.

And then, after a Malacanang official visited Bohol, the high up pusher suddenly reversed because according to my source, Boy Eladio is having the seat in his crosshairs. He asked the Malacanang guy to tell Artie Yap to go for the first district then.

Artie, the guy who has got no known parlors in a non-aggie district is like a fish running out of water. In no time at all, he would be dried fish if he takes the District 1 bait.

I personally don't like the Jalas. I'd prefer Secretary Yap throwing his hat in the 3rd District.

Other than filling their own pockets, the Jalas have not done anything significant in their more 10 year-reign in our district.

I am no political forecaster, but this is what my dream team for bohol comes 2010:

Governor: Edgardo Chatto
Vice-Governor: Concepcion Lim

Congressmen:
1st District: Julius Caesar Herrera
2nd District: Erico Aumentado
3rd District: Rene Relampagos

It is hard to accomodate Relampagos in the administration ticket but I would still vote for him and not any of the Jalas.

Let Cesar Montano continue his stint in Singing Bee and Congressman Cajes run for Board Member.

I think this is a fair game.

People here await in anticipation when Edgar Chatto declares his candidacy, or not , this Saturday, his birthday. I surely wont be there, dont wanna know if i am wrong with my forecast. Huhuhu.

There's talk about Padre Ondoy Cajes willing to partner with either Edgar or an opposition candidate for vice guv. Unconfirmed pa hinuon ang rumor nga giadto na niya si Edgar.

Sa City, its still Dan Lim over Toto Veloso or Pureza Chatto. Rene may join to make it a steamy hot fight, though i dont know if from Loay, Rene would again bundle his war chest and relocate. Unsa siya, wandering Jew?
