That was a previous arrangement with Cesar and Eric. During the latest national election, Cesar was really undecided to run for a sit in the Senate. He was eyeing then to run for governorship of Bohol against Eric. But they are of the same feather under GMA. Gloria convince Cesar not to run as governor against Eric. Instead, she prod Cesar to continue as one of her line-up in the Senatorial race. Win or lose, Cesar could aspire to run as governor of Bohol after the last term of Eric under GMAs political party.

Mao jod na sa atong politika ron. Puro pangako! Politicians don't have permanent friends and enemies, and promises before remain to be seen and could then be broken as the elections are nearing now. Tinood nga maglisod kaayo si Eric if Cesar pursued his dream of becoming one of Bohol's governors. Besides, this move would certainly widens the divisivess of GMA supporters in Bohol. Of course Cesar could ensure supports also from the oppositions because of his name in the entertainment industry being a caliver actor with Erap as the stallwart. And for that, GMAs plan suceeded which she thinks she gained a stronghold in the province. Infra projects of Bohol under Eric always get a nod from Malacanyang for continuing funding that she declared Bohol as the tourist capital of the country. Well, at least Bohol is a clear beneficiary of this political move.

Itâ€™s nearly election time and for the very first, I will certainly not vote. I know I can still vote while Iâ€™m outside the Philippines but I honestly just donâ€™t feel like it. I mean, why should I bother? Not even once have I voted for a president who actually won anyway. Haha! No, I wasnâ€™t dismayed at all. I strongly believe that any president put to office doesnâ€™t make so much difference. Come to think of it, a presidentâ€™s decision is not his/her own. He/She has a team of political advisers. He/She even has someone who writes his/her speech for him/her. A president is only a dummy to promote the special interest of grim, wealthy businessmen and unforgivably corrupt officials. And lemme tell you, Iâ€™m not sickened by this thought. Iâ€™m just, oh well, thatâ€™s life! And Iâ€™m beyond doubt enjoying every bit of my life sans thoughts on politics.

So, so, so, whoever will win will have my support. I donâ€™t feel strongly ill towards any incumbent and past presidents whom I definitely didnâ€™t vote for nor do I feel strongly appalled upon the presidential candidates I voted for who lost. Iâ€™ve figured out, it is unwise for a mother and wife (and a teacher, I almost forgot!) like me to entertain thoughts on politics. It definitely is not bliss. But Iâ€™ve to admit, the turncoats amuse and entertain me.

All of us, like all the candidates have the capacity to be a governor if we put into our hearts that we must do something for Bohol. But for Chatto is the best candidate. His experience, character, integrity, vision, talent, connections, leadership and dynamism - etc. are what we need. If Aumentado, The Mayors , business and political leaders of Bohol CARE for Bohol or want that the "development" they claim be sustained, they must support CHATTO.Those who will insist or claim that Chatto is the best candidate is certainly NOT OBJECTIVE or has other personal agenda or reason, other than what is BEST for Bohol. Other wannabes may be fair or even good, but for love of Bohol, they must give CHATTO the support needed- that is best for Bohol

i bet the law on this matter does not limit the forms of campaign that may not be had prior to the designated campaign period. so, it could be that campaigning via TB is prohibited.

(disclaimer: the COMELEC is very lax in implementing this law. Sen. Santiago filed a petition before the COMELEC on the alleged premature campaigning of Senators who appeared in various commercials to promote their so-called advocacies. Expectedly, the case was dismissed. Im not sure if she filed an MR or appeal.)

The recent development is Julius Herrera is non negotiable when its the 2010 gubernatorial seat is meant.

As my informants in your hometown calle, Conhing has already given the "go"signal for Julius Herrera during the town ABC gab. Herrera - Lim was what the source told me.

As far as Edgar is concerned, Bohol political insiders doubt if Edgar would make a go if he senses a contender who also can command votes. Especially if he would be going for the post with another guy Cesar Montano, whose vote support would basically be coming from his pie.

Second, Edgar may have a tough baggage, hes definitely be at war with Dan Lim in Tagbilaran, a thing he gets from practically backing Toto Veloso.

He may also have axes to grind with Administration mayors who lost in the last elections because Edgar has to choose sides and pour the funds intended for the District 1 mayors to bail out a Veloso drowning in the city.

And then, if it would be a Yul Lopez against Ae Damalerio for the first district, chances are Edgar would go for Ae. That way hed lose a sizable chunk of Loon votes, that 25,000 already.

Here, with bated breath, we await whom Erico would annoint. That is where the biggest boost for anybody's candidacy can be reckoned.

this is a nice development, apo. herrera was also conching lim's executive vp during conching's reign in lmp (eventually, herrrera was elected Pres after conching won a post in the provincial board) .

if i remember it right, though, herrera turned his back against the lims during renato lim's campaign for a second term as bohol's ABC President. that's quite a load on herrera.

anyhow, comes 2010, the only thing that matters is conching's money/whoever she would side herself as vice gov. (but if she chooses not to run, everything's up for grab)

if this is the case, then there is a posibility nga balik ni si edgar pagka mayor sa balilihan. labon tiguwang na iyang inahan ug angayan nang mo retire sa politika.
ang problema lang ani kay murag nibahad ra ba si pureza nga dili na panaugon sa ubos si edgar. there is no other way but up. kay kung monaug si edgar murag bungkag ang pamilya matud pa sa mga hungihong.
