At least three names surface as interested to run for president of the Association of Barangay Councils (ABC) Bohol chapter after the position will be left vacant by Vice Gov-elect Concepcion Lim.
Lim is presently the ABC provincial president and sits as ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
The slot to represent the barangay captains at the SP continues to be highly politicized even as barangay captains are mandated to be non-partisan.
The election for provincial ABC president will be done among the municipal ABC presidents.
The probable bets for ABC Provincial president are Crispina Vergara of Mabini, Efren Tanjay of Ubay and Faro Cabalit of this city. - Bohol Chronicle
