For years the Philippines has watched its ASEAN neighbors grow while itself suffered political instability.
Now the tides have turned. ASEAN powerhouses such as Thailand are now suffering political instability and economic turmoil, while Philippines is gaining ground and becoming a leader in ASEAN-Asia Pacific Affairs.
It is time.
