Robin Padilla surrenders high-powered firearms
By Christopher Lloyd T. Caliwan

MANILA, Nov. 6 (PNA) – Actor Robin Padilla on Friday surrenders some of his high-powered guns to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) in Camp Crame.

Padilla, who was accompanied by his lawyer Atty. Rudolf Philip Jurado, surrender his four high-powered firearms such as two baby armalite rifles, one garand rifle and caliber .30

He decided to surrender his gun due to the expired licensed and following the law, specifically Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act.

Padilla, a popular action star in the 90s known for his 'bad boy' role, who got jailed on 1995 due to illegal possession of firearms.

Jurado said his client decided to surrender his guns for safekeeping due to expired licensed and since Padilla was a convict, they have to fix some papers before the issuance of the new license to own and possess firearms (LTOPF).

”Robin, he was convicted way back in 1995. The thing is nung napasa yung 10591, required na yung applicant eh magcertify na he was not convicted of any crime. tiningnan namin, merong conviction, worse, inapply yung batas retroactively. so si Robin,na may prior conviction, apparently, madidispossess. eh merong lisensya, now because of that law. Supposedly nag-expire last year pero nagkaroon ng extension 'yung PNP ng one year [na] magi-expire this coming December,” Jurado noted.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
