Teodoro was expected in the municipality of Calape--hometown of Nacionalista Party's gubernatorial candidate, vice-governor Julius Caesar Herrera, for a multi-sectoral consultation on poverty alleviation at the town's gymnasium and to grace the groundbreaking ceremonies of some infrastructure projects.
Villar was supposed to be the guest during yesterday's fiesta celebration of Carmen town with Mayor Boy Molina as the host. His running mate Sen. Legarda was supposed to speak at a forum on Climate Change last Friday at the Bohol Cultural Center and a press conference at Soledad Suites.
Teodoro was also supposed to grace the launching of the Department of Agriculture's carabao massive artificial insemination program in Ubay.
Ubay is the bailiwick of Governor Erico Aumentado, administration party congressional bet for second district.
Teodoro and Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap were also expected to have a short interaction with farmer leaders and officials of the second district, led by Ubay Mayor Eutiquio Bernales, who is seeking reelection under the Administration party.
The presidentiable was also expected to grace the town fiesta celebration in Valencia.
Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) provincial federated president Concepcion Lim--one of Valencia town's influential politicians--informed the municipal police station that the presidentiable and other invited guests that she had invited to grace the town fiesta failed to make it.
A police officer in Valencia, who was supposedly part of the group tapped to securethe town during the event, told the Chronicle that officials had to bank off a major part of the celebration as the guests of honor failed to arrive.
Lim, the administration's vice-gubernatorial bet in tandem with 1st Dist. Rep. Edgar Chatto, had coordinated with more than 1,000 barangay captains to supposedly gather around and interact with Teodoro.
Teodoro's speaking engagement in the University of Bohol was also postponed.
Lim had also invited Nacionalista Party senatorial candidate Ilocos Norte Rep. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to crown Miss Valencia 2010. But like Teodoro, he failed to make it here.
Marcos also missed the press conference arranged with the local media at the Tagbilaran City Hall conference room set before his schedule in Valencia.
San Isidro vice-mayor Eustaquio Flor, whose wife is from Ilocos, was supposed to escort Marcos during his stay in Bohol.
