i don't think people will learn from the past or even from documentaries like this. there have been so many things like this before but still corruption keeps on growing from every corners and nook of the philippine archipelago. from as small as barangay officials up to cabinet members and staffs, judiciary and executive branch including the president. RP's case is really hopeless and we can't blame people from migrating to other countries just to escape such shameful truth. it's like if you want to get rich, venture in the political arena as you can get what you want and as much as you can. those who are rich will become richer and those who are poorer will become poorer.

our country's wealth is controlled by few people only. the rest of us are just eating morsels that fell from their table. if they don't share their wealth, we're forced to take action so our children and our children's children can have a future.

You  guys are  right but we need not be helpess. Somehow whether our efforts can't make a big difference we've got to stand up and do something. Many misfortunes befall a people because not one good man chose to make a stand. Corruption triumphs because of people's inactions and
 insensitivity.

It may take a while to make a change, maybe not in our lifetime but for the sake of our future generations we have to do something.

I urge everyone and I hope you will heed the call. We can use this forum to start change and make people aware of issues. I admire the sacrifices  our kababayans have to endure working in foreign lands. I've been there and know how it feels.

May sound like a tall order but together we can start to make a difference!

The Philippines’ current 1987 Constitution called for the abolition of political dynasties, and there have been God-knows-how-many bills filed in Congress to dismantle dynasties, in support of the constitutional mandate. But none of these bills have ever been passed into law. They are all languishing in some dank congressional archive.

yes indeed. how can they approve it if it's disadvantageous to their cause? they make a good living out of it and they became millionaires.

it's just one of several articles in the Constitution that our politicians are willing to ignore. so, where are we heading then, when even our elected officials don't care the Law of the Land? yet, we're always talking about change here and there.

Thats called Law maker are the law breaker.

The masses seemed short in memory. They can't remember the corruption that happened during the term of a certain official or Congressmen.

We loved to slaved by this politicians, we idolized them, and talked about their wrong doing and yet we vote for them.

the next time we amend our constitution, lets make the anti-family dynasty provisions self-executing.

i admit that im a huge fan of a polical family in our town. but that's it. being a fan does not mean that i will ignore miraculous transactions involving the family.

just waiting for the right time. i don't have the kind of evidence the our law requires! Goodness...
