bisag ang kinataw-an na lay basehan, kanang pa-charming nga pinolitiko, wa nay lain. sorry na lang siya kun hilabtanon ang mga tawo. he put himself up for public office. he is even a breath away from being president of the philippines. (what if something happens to pnoy? heaven forbid!) we can also imagine the resources of public funds at his disposal (representations, travels, etc.) that are part of the perks of his office. imagine such funds being used to finance his girlfriend.
so come on, let's not kid ourselves. a public official is always answerable to the public. that includes answerability for his moral behavior, which necessarily speaks of whether he is fit to hold public trust.
Hmmm... mao jud madam Isles... sa dihang nagpulitiko sya... he submits himself to critics... Aw hinoon wala naman bag-o ani daghan man pud pulitiko nga naay other significant/s... or mao ba kaha? Tsa na ni oi?
