« on: November 30, 2009, 07:27:15 PM »
MAGUINDANAO PROVINCE, PHILIPPINES - NOVEMBER 24:  The bodies of victims are recovered  following the massacre of at least 30 kidnap victims on Monday in Ampatuan town, on November 24, 2009 in Maguindanao Province, Philippines. Around 100 gunmen are reported to have hijacked the party of 30-40 people, including the wife, sister and other relatives of Buluan's Vice Mayor Esmael Mangudadatu, en route to filing election papers for candidate Mangudadatu ahead of next May's elections. Mangudadatu's wife, sister and family members, Armed Forces of the Philippines, civilians and at least 12 media personnel are thought to be amongst those killed in the attack, believed to be politically motivated. The Ampatuan clan, political rivals, are being blamed for the kidnap, mutilation, rape and murder of the victims.  (Photo by Jeoffrey Maitem/Getty Images)

Dead bodies lie on the ground near their vehicles at the crime scene of a massacre of a political clan that included several journalists in the outskirts of Ampatuan, Maguindanao in southern Philippines November 24, 2009. The Philippines sacked the provincial police chief and sent hundreds of extra troops to a southern region on Tuesday where gunmen killed at least 24 people in the worst-ever election related violence in the country. On Monday, about 100 gunmen abducted a group of people going to file a nomination for the provincial governor's post in Maguindanao. A group of about 40 people, including women and local journalists, were taken away by gunmen who opened fire on them, investigators said. A local leader said four survivors were in hiding.   REUTERS/Erik de Castro   (PHILIPPINES CRIME LAW CONFLICT IMAGES OF THE DAY)

What this people did to the massacre victims is really unthinkable.  Asa naman gibutang ilang kasing-kasing?  And to think these families used to be so close to each other.

Dear Lord, have mercy on us.  May the victims rest in peace and please heal the pain of the victims' families.

"This know also that in the last days
  perilous times shall come
For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
 covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers...
 Lovers of pleasures more than
 lovers of God" 2Timothy 3:1-4

No wonder that in the second coming of the Lord
He will rule with a rod of iron as the Bible said not
meek like a lamb to be crucified like before.
 Hala latigoha nang mga salbahis..

God of merciful love,
Help these families who are victims of murder
To accept the reality of such senseless acts of violence
Without, at the same time,
Succumbing to the despair of so great a loss.
May this violence become for them, instead,
A steppingstone toward greater union with you.
Teach them the forgiveness that was exemplified
By Jesus as he said,
“Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
And through his redemptive love,
Show your mercy to the victims of this crime,
fill the void in the hearts of their loved ones,
through your grace that is all Good.

Lord, let your justice reign swiftly,
and let the perpetrators of this crime be brought to justice.
May swift execution of justice take course, by your Divine Will.

We ask this and pray in Jesus' Name.
Amen.

pagka sayang ning lugara, nindot kaayo ang view but if the people who are tasked to govern this place does not appreciate its beauty mahimo kining impyerno sa mga tawo.
Because of greed and hungry of power a person with limited knowledge of what human dignity is will use violence just to control people.
