Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia has told the Iloilo press, replying to a reporter's question, that she will run for the Senate in the 2013 elections.
“After much deliberation, I think I could help on the national level so I am now offering myself as a senatorial candidate,†said Garcia.
Garcia said she is now in talks with the United Nationalist Alliance of Vice President Jejomar Binay, Former Pres. Erap Estrada and Senate Pres. Juan Ponce Enrile.
She also said she really needs more exposure to the public and that the media will be a big help for her. - pna
