Press Release: The Ormoc Development Team (ODT) led by our thoughtful City Mayor Richard I. Gomez paid a visit earlier today to the Ormoc Waterworks and Sewerage Administration (ORWASA) located at Ablen St., Brgy. Cogon, this city.
Purpose of the aforesaid visit was to look into ORWASA’s needs and hear out concerns from the employees.
Fulton Manawatao (ORWASA Administrator) raised his concern about their old vehicles and dilapidated building. Both of which need immediate repairs.
Mayor Gomez also went through the laboratory and production sections of the office, and the in-charge officers expressed their concerns.
ORWASA’s mandate includes overall management of operations, maintenance and repair of water supply facilities, improvement and expansion of the existing system, and revenue generation for the city.
Their goal is to have a reliable water supply system that efficiently serves Ormoc City and all of its barangays.
