Camarines Sur First District Congressman Diosdado “Dato†Macapagal Arroyo was recently honored as the Most Outstanding Neophyte Congressman in the 14th Congress.
In an article of the Public Eye Magazine stated that it is Dato Arroyo’s ardent passion for public service, to serve the people with all the best that he can offer that made him stand out among the rest.
Presently elected by the house as the Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Food, Special Committee on Bicol Recovery, Economic Development and Youth Sports Development, Arroyo is also a member of other important committees such as Energy, Games and Amusement, Government Enterprises and Privatization, Information, Communications and Technology, Inter-Parliamentary Relations and Diplomacy, Natural Resources, Public Works and Highways and Transportation.
