Municipality of Sarangani joined the celebration of 124th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Philippine Independence Day.

       Sarangani, Davao Occidental, June 12, 2022 The Municipality of Sarangani headed by Hon. Virginia T Cawa Municipal Mayor joined the celebration of 124th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Philippine Independence day with the theme “Kalayaan 2022; Pagsulong sa Hamon ng Panibagong Bukas (Rise Towards the Challenge of a New Begining) with a simple flag raising and wreath-laying ceremony spearheaded by Sarangani Municipal Police Station led by PCPT CHUCKSTAIRE H FEGI Officer In-charge with the  active support of MLGOO headed by Jane Marie Hugos, Balut Island,Sarangani Maritime Police precinct led by PMSg Roger M. Agodania, Philippine Coast Guard led by CG ENS JEFFERSON R RODAS,DEPED Sarangani headed by Jefry B. Bagongon District Principal In-Charge 920 Marine company reserve unit led by SSgt Ivy Grace Kiana Muslim Community headed by USTADZ SADAP K AMINULLAH, Datu Abednigo K Tiawin IPMR Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo members. Araw ng Kalayaan or freedom day is celebrated annually on June 12 to commemorate the declaration of Philippine Independence from Spain in 1898. this year’s celebration on June 12,2022 marks the 124th Anniversary of this National Day of remembrance. The commemoration aims to promote patriotism or love of country and preserve and memorialize Filipino heroes’ principles, ideals, and valor throughout history. said activity was successfully ended with fruitful result.
