MANILA, Philippines - Pinabulaanan ng alkalde ng Tagbilaran City ang reklamong sexual harassment ng isang flight crew ng eroplano ng Zest Air sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), kamakalawa.

Kinilala ni Airport Police Intelligence and Investigation Division (APD-PIID) head Captain Alden Guy, ang mayor ng Tagbilaran City, Bohol Province na si Dan N. Lim.

Isinumbong ng isang Camille Rose Diaz, flight attendant ng Zest Air at taga Paco, Manila si Lim.

Ayon kay Diaz, sakay sila ng Zest Air flight Z2-353 ga­ling Tagbilaran dakong alas 4:43 ng hapon kamakalawa. Nang lumapag ang eroplano sa runway ng NAIA at papunta sa old domestic airport ay tumayo at gustong magpunta sa banyo ng alkalde pero sinabihan niya ito na hindi pa puwedeng tumayo dahil ang ‘setbelt sign ay naka-on’ dahil nagta-taxi pa ang eroplano.

Sabi ni Diaz, pinakiusapan niya si Mayor Lim na noon ay naka-upo sa 1C na huwag munang magtungo sa banyo dahil may sinusunod aniya silang airline safety procedures.

“No passenger/s is allowed to remove seatbelt until the aircraft is properly parked,” sabi ni Diaz kay Lim.

Dahil dito ay bigla umanong tumayo ang Alkalde at ibinaba daw ang zipper ng kanyang pantalon at brief at hinawakan pa umano ang ari nito.

“Saan mo ako gustong umihi dito?” sabi umano ng mayor at saka umano ipinakita ang ari kay Diaz at sa mga pasahero at kasamahang crew.




Agad inimpormahan ni Diaz ang mga piloto ng eroplano na sina Capt. Ronaldo Ramos at first officer Renato Pitogo tungkol sa pangyayari para humingi ng police assistance pagdating sa old terminal ng paliparan.

Sa pahayag naman ni Mayor Lim, hindi niya puwedeng gawin ang ganitong klase ng kabastusan lalo na sa harapan ng kanyang mga kababayan.

Sinabi ni Cpl. Eduardo Duran, case investigator, pinakiusapan daw ni Mayor Lim ang crew para siya maka-ihi dahil isa siyang diabetic at kailangan niyang umihi.

May regulasyon kasing ipinatutupad ang Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), ‘that no passenger/s is allowed to use lavatory or stand while the aircraft is in motion for safety measures.’

Nakatakda namang magsampa ng kasong administratibo at kriminal si Lim sa crew ng Zest Air sa Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.

Tagbilaran mayor faces charges for ‘genital exposure’, denies allegation

MAYOR Dan Lim of Tagbilaran City, Bohol denied reports that he allegedly showed his private parts to two flight attendants
on board a flight for Manila last Friday afternoon.

“Kung nag binastos ko (If I was being lascivious), why did I submit myself to authority?
  Wala na nako buhata (I did not do it),” he said over a radio dyLA interview.

The alleged exposure fueled a sharing spree online 12 hours after the incident, which Lim said has tainted his political image.

Lim is facing complaints of sexual harassment and grave scandal lodged against him by the two flight attendants.

The incident happened inside Zestair flight (Z2352) when Lim allegedly reacted violently after he was told that he could not
yet go to the restroom as the plane was already taxiing on the runway of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport
while the “fasten your seat belt” sign was still on.

Urinate

The mayor, instead, asked one of the complainants if she wants him to urinate in the cabin and demanded to talk with the captain.

Out of embarrassment, the attendant called the attention of the pilot, Capt. Ronaldo Ramos, who later allowed Lim to use
  the lavatory to avoid further scandal inside the aircraft.

The attendant, however, said she was shocked to see Lim allegedly opened his pants and pulled down his underwear,
  exposing his genitals in front of the shocked attendants.

One of the attendants, who failed to hide her tears out of shame, described the incident as traumatic.

Commotion

The incident caused a commotion at the airplane that prompted the attendants to call the pilot.

She described the mayor as “unruly as he started talking in a loud voice.”

Upon disembarking from the plane, Lim and the two attendants were brought to the Airport Police Department for investigation.

Lim, in an interview, complained against the airline company for being insensitive to people like him.

He described himself as a 59-year-old man who suffers from diabetes and needs to urinate often.

Lim also believed his political opponents are taking the opportunity to blow the issue out of proportion to hamper his plan in the 2013 elections.
