The City Government of Maasin, headed by our City Mayor Nacional V. Mercado, received a total of 437 doses of Sinovac vaccines from the National Government today, April 12, 2021.
326 were allocated for the first dose intended for the various agencies including our health workers, BFP, Provincial DOH Office, PDRRMO/CDRRMO, and health workers from the private clinics as well as from the OLAP Dialysis Center. The vaccination roll-out program will start today until Friday, April 16, 2021.
On the other hand, 111 were allocated for the second dose to be given this April 19 and 20, 2021 at our vaccination center, Maasin City Gym.
The City Government of Maasin encourages everyone to get vaccinated as soon as one is eligible and able to do so. The vaccines are safe and effective.
