“I am so sorry that my comment was taken out of context, as I would never insult another group or ethnicity,” “Charlie’s Angels” actress Lucy Liu told the Philippine Daily Inquirer after she was asked by this reporter to comment about her controversial statement in a guest appearance on “Late Show with David Letterman” last October 11.

When Letterman asked Liu, who is shooting her new TV series “Elementary,” if she enjoys running indoors or outdoors, she answered, “I run in a machine. It is easier for me. Also, if I get really dark, I’ll start to look a little Filipino. It wouldn’t match.”

sineswerte siya.  she's a very ordinary looking chinese girl.  had she a tinge of filipino blood, she may have looked like kim chiu.

the little that i know of her, which i came across by accident...

she's a young lass from leyte, the family had moved to cebu, she studied at the cebu christian gospel school, she won in the pinoy big brother contest or some tv contest i think.  and she's half-filipino, half-chinese.  lucy liu can't hold a candle to her. ;D
